Jocelyn is a fantastic pet sitter. She is a joy to be around with a beautiful energy. We enjoyed our time with her before and after the sit. She looked after Ted extremely well and their bond was obvious even after the short time. Jocelyn sent us update photos and videos while we were away. She left the apartment in a perfect state for our return. I would not hesitate to recommend Jocelyn and we plan to have her back to take care of Ted later this year.
Absolutely great pet and house sitters. From start to finish, Dany and Guido were fantastic. Teddy and Roscoe are missing you already. We face timed before meeting and Dany came and met our little boys the day before, which was great. Plenty of pictures and videos were sent over the next 12 days and Teddy and Roscoe look so happy. All me and jan can say is thank you for providing us a stress free holiday and experience, and look forward hopefully to seeing you both again. I have used Tina's pet services several times to care for my cats when I was away, She goes above and beyond, She left notes of what the cats did each day, brought toys for them to play with while she was there. She doesn't just feed and empty litter box, she actually spends time with them. She is the best.

I took my 2 sister kittens a few weekends ago and it was a wonderful experience. Brianna greeted us with a huge smile and was so incredibly sweet to my kittens. I have to say that Brianna was probably one the nicest people I have ever met and I trust her completely with my fur babies. The next time I have to board my pets I will back to see Brianna as she is just an angel. 😍
This all truth and fact ! I inquired my first time to board my fur baby in August of 2023' I was concerned for Staff and my dog because he is over protected of me. I have been going to Muddy Creek for years they are the best ! However I wanted to try a place a little closer to my home and have back up just in case. No one ever called me about my concerns today 11/1/2033 they called me to confirm my reservation for Possibly 2/2024' still never taking a moment to address my concern. Now today they respond they are too Busy to reply to Everyone Never have I ever heard that. Why would I bring my beloved Fur baby when I know nothing about them I still cannot wrap my head around their response. I was fooled by their Pretty exterior online. I care about my fur baby as much as my own children. !
We boarded our 2 Portuguese Water dogs while we spent 2 days in the Salem area. We had several conversations with the owner before coming and read other reviews. We felt this was the place for our dogs. The staff greeted us, took additional information and met our dogs. We picked them up two days later, they were happy boys and we got a good report on their experience with the other dogs.
I have been boarding my toy poodles here for about 8 years and recently have become happier than ever. Yes, there were a few months under a previous owner that left me dissatisfied, but with the new ownership (1/18) under Dr. Miles Borash, the place is back to a high standard of care combined with a healthy dose of heart & hugs. The staff is efficient with intake, dismissal, and personal attention to each dog and I find them extremely reliable in every category. You can tell a lot by how your dogs react when walking in the door; my dogs happily bound through the doorway and receive a warm welcome from the staff each time. Brianna is very thorough and very careful to note the personal needs of your dog, including medications, feeding, etc., and Doug lends a personal touch in his care that allows my ultra sensitive poodle to relax enough that he can even pick him up - something he doesn't let anyone besides me do! I'm very happy that Dr. Borash and his crew are at the helm now and I can leave the dogs here with not a worry in the world.
This pet resort is under new management....we have been bringing out cat here for 10 yrs. and have noticed a difference. Mainly, she is an outdoor cat and has the opportunity here to sit out on her private porch. She has her own room with a climbing perch. She is very well cared for and Dr. Borash noticed a problem with her teeth which I wouldn't have detected and did a great job fixing it. I would definitely recommend this place to board your cat or dog if you're going away on vacation. I also feel really comfortable having a vet on the premises.....just in case.
Extremely unprofessional staff and dirty premises. I had made a reservation in person, filled out all paper work and called a few times to make sure everything was in order. When I called to ask what would be latest time to drop off my dogs, they had lost all my paperwork and had no idea I had a reservation. The manager kept saying I had never gone to make the reservation and I did. I still had to leave my dogs for 5 nights and they didn't send pictures unless I called and asked for them. They promise complimentary showers and more walks for the dogs which did not happen. I did not get back all of the blankets I had dropped off because they mix them with other dog's. The staff had a horrible attitude and didn't get along. Do yourself a favor and don't leave your dogs in that awful place.
DO NOT BRING YOUR PET HERE, horrible customer service and a nasty manager Bree, horrible communication. I would give them a zero if I could, which is a shame because Dr Borash is the best. He needs to get rid of these money scammers
Really nice place, the owner is altruistic and extremely interested in animal safety and treatment. It's nice to find a service provider with such a really good attitude toward his craft ! Highly recommend them
I love this pet resort I was so worried about leaving my little guy anywhere, but they are all so nice, and there is a vet right in the same parking lot that owns the resort so if anything were to happen they would take him to the vet right there, I am so happy I found this place it’s the best.
Walks n Wags is the best of the best! Erin has been taking care of my dog for years and we absolutely love her. She loves and cares for every dog as if they were her own and always provides plenty of pictures and videos to reassure you that your dog is safe and having fun. My dog practically breaks down our door to get to daycare on Fridays and comes home exhausted from playing with all his friends! We will surely be using her services for years to come!
Erin is incredibly professional and runs the best doggy day care I have experienced. She goes above and beyond to make sure everyone (the dogs) are comfortable and have fun. She is incredibly attentive, organized, and I wouldn’t want to bring my dog anywhere else.
Pike is my nervous boy who loves dogs but has always been a little slower with humans. He loves Erin and the crew at Walks n Wags so much. It brings me great joy knowing my boy gets amazing care at Daycare. I see multiple pictures of him and his friends (Luna the lab and Enzo the Weimaraner). Erin’s the best of the best and I wouldn’t want my dog going anywhere else 💕

We have been using Dana and her walkers since we first moved to the Boston area in 2003. Dana and the walkers that work for her have always been so great with our dogs. We have had older dogs that required carrying up stairs and puppies that are full of energy and not matter what our dogs needed Heads and Tails Pet Service has always cared for our dogs like they were their own pets. Dana has provided overnights for our dogs in our home and in her home and either location we have returned to a happy, well cared for dog. She takes care of our home while we are gone and we find everything in its place when we return. Dana sends us updates while we are out of town and photos of our dog enjoying the beach (and her sofa) on his overnights visits to her home. We are very particular about the care our dog receives and his well being and safety and Dana (and the other walkers we have had) have always been very professional and followed our instructions. She leaves us notes on how Seamus did on his walks and shows up for walks on time even when there is snow out there. At this point, Dana is part of our family. I highly recommend Dana and the walkers that work with her.
Dana is awesome!!! We only stopped using her to walk out crazy Bailey Golden doodle because we moved. We wish we could take her with us. She walks dogs as if they were hers. She truly cares about their well-being. And when we saw her walking Bailey and her best bud Lucca, (both great friends) and too full of energy, it was clear she is a dog whisperer. You won't find a more trustworthy and dependable person!
Dana has been cat sitting for my pets for years, including my late Dharma who lived to 19 years old! She would help administer medications she required when I was traveling and every time I’d come back from a business trip she was well brushed and clearly very well cared for. Can’t wait to leverage her support when I get a dog !

We have been using Dana and her team for 9 years for our golden retriever. Dana is terrific. In 9 years they have never forgotten to come. They remind me about holidays and days where I might not need a dog walker. They have done many last minute evening walks when I couldn't get home from work. I have boarded the dog with Dana and she has a wonderful time running on the beach. Every time Dana comes to the house, our dog goes nuts with joy. This says a lot! I can't recommend them more highly than to say that my dog greets Dana and her team with the same level of excitement that she greets us!
Dana is incredible. We truly could not say enough good things about her! She is incredibly responsive, reliable, and most importantly, loves our fur baby the way that we do. Gus gets *so* excited when Dana comes for his walks. She always communicates with us after each visit to let us know how he did, if there are any behavioral issues that they are working on together, and if he did his business. We feel like Dana is part of our family, she is certainly part of the care team that we have for Gus and are so fortunate that we found her. We’ve had Dana walking our German Shepherd, Siegfried, for the past 8 years. She and her team have been outstanding, and we couldn’t have asked for a better walker and pal for our boy. Especially in his twilight years with degenerative myelopathy, Dana has been amazing at caring for Siegfried even with all of his extra walking apparati. Siegfried always looked forward to his daily walks, and we’re grateful to have had Dana give such loving care to Siegfried! Would 100% recommend.

There is no pet sitter that I trust more with our precious cats than Meaghan! She goes far above and beyond attending to their basic needs, and gets to know their individual personalities and quirks. Every day I looked forward to the days report. Fun and detailed. Heather is a true animal lover - and when she takes care of an animal - you'd think your pet was her pet. My "Benji" felt totally at home with her, which allowed me a relaxing vacation. She also followed Benji's home routine completely - the consistency made an easy transition. Thanks Heather!
Joe has been taking care of our lab boy, Beethoven, since he was merely a puppy, less than a year old. We made a switch to Boneanza after not liking our previous daycare, and there has never been one bad day with Joe since the day we brought our boy there. Beethoven has left every day wagging his tail and is always excited to go to “camp” as we like to call it. We love Joe and all of Boneanza. They also walk the dogs multiple times a day without question where other places charge you to do anything beyond the bare minimum with your dog. Joe also makes sure the pups are always in a safe and secure environment. Joe even helped teach us some Training tactics and continues to do so as we raise our boy. I write this because we care so much about who we leave our boy with, who he grows up with, and Joe and Boneanza was for sure the right choice.
Joe is our hero. Seven years now with him and he’s become family to our pup. He treats all dogs as if they’re his own, but he’s also an expert in their safety and is able to calmly bring a group of mixed sized dogs all together to play safely. We’ve used many facilities in the past and there would always be some incidents with other dogs - not with Joe! Oh, and he’s also a decent and funny guy too.
We used this service for a month for our elderly dog and Joe was flexible, reliable, professional and above all kind. He was more than willing to work with us in terms of schedule and Gerry developed a strong bond with him! I'd recommend him any day and will use his services in the future for any boarding we will need in the north shore. Joe is the best!
We luv Boneanza. Joe & his staff are the most amazing and helpful people I've ever met when it comes to doggy daycare. Max gets so excited every time I even mention goin to see "Mr. Joe". I don't know what I'd do without them.
We've been customers of Boneanza for over 13 years and have had three different dogs there. It's a fantastic place for our dogs to hang out while we're at work. Our dogs have always been excited to arrive in the morning and tired but happy when we pick them up. Owner Joe is truly the "alpha dog" and has a special connection with the dogs, keeping everyone happy, engaged and getting along. In addition to multiple walks during the day, Joe and his employees play with the dogs during the day, keeping them busy chasing tennis balls, Kong toys, et cetera. Also, for train commuters Boneanza is just a five minute walk from Beverly Depot.

The biggest compliment I can give is that Janelle gives you peace of mind. Anyone who knows me knows that this is huge. A few months ago, we went away for two nights for the first time since the pandemic began, and when we returned, our cat Gilbert showed signs of having had a major anxiety issue with us being gone. Our pets are our children, so we knew we had to do something before we tried to go away again. We found Janelle and scheduled a meeting and found her to be professional, caring, thorough, and assuring. She gave off a calming vibe of "I've got this. Your pets are safe with me. Go and have a good time." She took careful notes about what needed to be done while we were gone (Gilbert is diabetic), and asked questions to be sure she got everything right. While we were gone, she checked in with us to let us know the cats were well, and it really took a big burden off of our shoulders and allowed us to enjoy our hard-earned vacation. We fully recommend her, and think she is a big step up from other pet sitters out there with her medical expertise and thoroughness. We will not hesitate to use her again and wish we could give her even more stars than 5. Thank you Janelle!

I have been working with Janelle for several years. She's been excellent! I had a senior dog that was in need of more care than just pet sitting. She required daily fluids because of kidney disease, which was more than most pet sitters had experience to provide. Janelle was professional, experienced and reliable. Since my girl has passed we've added to our pack. She's great with all my dogs and we trust her in our home and to care for our pets. We love working with her! Our dogs love her too!
Taking my fur baby Mocha to Red Dog in Saugus was one of the best decisions we have ever made as pet owners. She loves going there twice a week. All of the staff shows genuine love and affection for each pet they take care of. The place is phenomenal! They are just like having another family. I would highly recommend it to anyone who loves their pets. I also do have Mocha groomed and boarded at this location when we need her to have overnight accommodations. We have a great peace of mind, knowing that she is in a place that she loves and that loves her back. To the staff thank you for all you do. You are appreciated very much.
We had a need that was pretty last minute, and not only were they able to accommodate us, their customer service was excellent. It was hard to leave him at a new place, and they were lovely and kind when I called to check on him. He hadn't done daycare there, but was able to have a screening during his stay, and had a BLAST with the other dogs after he qualified. Highly recommend.
We did our first evaluation for daycare at Red Dog and was super impressed with the level of in-depth analysis as well as their feedback. They clearly took the time to understand how our dog was reacting and the meaning behind the behavior. They also made every effort to put our dog at ease in a new environment and made suggestions for the next time. The facility itself is large and clean, but the real star is the people themselves who love animals, understand behavior, and are interested in offering warmth, love, and comfort to your pet while they are away. We'll certainly be back.
This was Teddy's first stay at Red Dog and he had a very positive experience. He came home much more relaxed than from other places where he has stayed. He was uninterested in eating in the beginning but Red Dog called us and we came up with a plan that would get him eating but also keep his sensitive stomach in mind. The facility is super clean and the staff is really friendly and obviously cares about the pets in their care. Teddy will definitely be visiting again! Thank you!
I have been searching for a new groomer for my dog for several months now. Finally found it in Red Dog Pet Resort & Spa Northshore! Online booking was easy. The groomer Elena did exactly as I asked. Poppy came back smelling fresh and well groomed. She is normally pretty afraid at groomers but she tolerated the experience well and appreciated the treats. Highly recommend! We will use them again.
We boarded our four month old mini Goldendoodle puppy for three nights here with a additional "puppy play" service added for each day. The check-in process was easy and very re assuring (our first time using a boarding service). Communication throughout the stay was great and a grooming service provided before our pups pick up. Would recommend this Red Dog location for it's puppy boarding services. Our girl was so sleepy when we brought her home, it was great to see that she was getting enough play and exercise whilst staying with Red Dog.
We have been looking for a good cat groomer for a while and are so glad we took our little girl to Red Dog. Pam was amazing, taking great care of our long hair cat. She looked and smelled amazing after her grooming. We will definitely be coming back!
We had high hopes for Red Dog. Props to the marketing team for sure however there was major disappointment upon actually using the service. The staff are not friendly and are very authoritarian. I found this odd. Multiple times I and my family have been subjected to this. Constant reminders about there rules and policies that have been gone over multiple times. Almost as if they are scolding us like a misbehaved dog. It is possible the staff work in an authoritarian environment causing transference on the customer (hopefully not on the dogs). My dog deficated outside prior to going in on one occasion. Even before the feces dropped the staff rudely informed us to pick it up (we would not leave feces in your driveway). Very odd. Their tone was agitated and borderline aggressive (male staff). I encourage the staff to attempt to be more friendly or at least apply basic customer service standards. I went in to Red Dog about 8 times in total and never left there feeling good about my interactions. I’m all about business growth and development so this is more to provide feedback than shame. Dogs are very important to families and I am assuming customers want to have confidence in the individuals caring for them. Thank you for your time.
We have had a great experience bringing our puppies here. Red Dog offers many different rooms to accommodate different types of dogs. You can schedule private playtime, there's daycare, plenty of walks. The staff is incredibly nice & you can see that they are animal lovers themselves. Red Dog is our go-to whenever we need to board the pups. I highly recommend them.
This was our chow chow's first time at red dog pet resort and spa. Everyone was helpful and friendly getting us started with the application and paperwork. Our dog is older (14 years). When we picked him up, he was energetic and wagging his tail. We will board him again in the near future. Our only criticism is we would have liked an occasional update, but I guess that no news is good news. Thanks to the entire staff at red dog.
