I had a very relaxing stay in Pannal with Timble the cat. Jenny and her husband were extremely welcoming and the house was very comfortable. The train station to take you to some interesting places - leeds, Harrogate, Knaresborough etc - is a five minute walk away. Timble was so easy to care for and a real cutie. I would highly recommend this sit.
Both Frieda and Lucy were so lovely to look after. Fetch after the walks was extremely fun as both have their own personality, and it ended up being partly a work out for me too ha. There were a few things to bare in mind to ensure they had a good experience too, and after a few days it became easily integrated into a daily routine. The flat is really great - well designed and suitable to work remotely. It was an ideal pet sit, and if you too are a fellow dog lover, I would recommend!
There aren’t enough good things to be said about sitting at Max’s and taking care of the cats. Max’s communicated clearly what the expectations were while he was away. If I had any questions, he quickly responded. He also gave me a great recommendation to escape the heat. The Alte Donau was a nice local spot with plenty of shade and to have a nice dip in the river. Upon arriving, he took the time to walk me through the routine and show me where everything was. Max made me feel right at home. The apartment was wonderful; everything was clean and functional. It is in a great location in Vienna with restaurants, various supermarkets and local street markets. It’s also a quick walk to the street cars and just 10-15 min to the center of the action. Elli and Fritz are two of the best cats I’ve ever encountered. They are both lovely with lots of personality. As most cats do, they slept a lot during the day, but played a good bit in the evenings. They enjoy chasing the laser and playing fetch with the little stuffed mice. At night they play with each other as well. They also appreciate some good rubs under the chin and back. They never whined for food and would let me sleep in a bit before coming to the bedroom door. There’s honestly nothing bad that can be said about Elli and Fritz. My entire experience was truly wonderful. I hope I’ll have the opportunity to sit for Max and take care of Elli and Fritz again in the future.
We had the absolute best time and Albie was a dream companion. Adam and Sophia were very responsive and helped us with anything we needed. Their apartment is so cool and in a very convenient location. Would highly recommend both Albie and his parents!
This was a truly fantastic house sit - a lovely house with quite possibly the best natured dog (Rafa) on the planet.
Sitting for Pancho was amazing! Such a sweet pup. He is so great on walks, really good with kids and other dogs, and everyone was enamored by his cuteness and wanted to know what breed he was. He loved to hang out with me while I was working during the day and sleep either in bed or under the bed at night. I will miss him! Charlie made everything super smooth and easy for my arrival. The house is gorgeous and modern, in a residential neighborhood but not far from good coffee spots and restaurants. I would definitely recommend sitting for Pancho to others and would love to do so again myself!
