Katie was very trusting to leave Luna in my care, especially as this was my first housesit with TrustedHousesitters. She made sure that everything was clear and the house was lovely, comfortable and clean. Luna is a delightful fluffy ball and threw herself on the carpet within seconds of meeting me, wanting a tummy rub. I so enjoyed grooming her as she evidently adores it. Katie's home is quiet and set back in a rural setting but only 5 minutes walk into Lindfield where there are beautiful old houses and useful shops and bus connections to other parts of Sussex. I visited a few fabulous gardens - Borde Hill and Wakehurst - which was a bonus to a relaxing housesit. I look forward to meeting Katie one day and more cuddles with Luna.
I had a splendid time looking after Oliver & Lola. Markus and Elizabeth are super nice couples, very friendly & welcoming and communication with them was smooth and pleasant. We had a video call beforehand and I met Markus to get the key on the first day, everything was explained clearly and in great detail. Their place is bright and comfy, and has plenty of indoor plants to add to the positive energy of the house. You’ll find all what you need and it’s well insulated for a peaceful and quiet stay. Perfect if you work from home too. Oliver & Lola are absolutely adorable kitties and they’d effortlessly make you fall in love with them right away with their cuteness and charming personalities. Oliver is cheeky whilst Lola is a marshmallow, and both are sweet and affectionate and love to cuddle and play around either with you or with each other. They are very low maintenance and just require some TLC every now and then. I’m so glad I was given the chance to do this sit and I would definitely recommend it without hesitation.
