Dini
How do I even begin!

I spent 5 wonderful months with Dini in Dordogne. This beautiful place amidst the vineyards became like a home for me and Dini, my dear companion.

Dini is truly a wonderful dog and such a good girl! She is incredibly affectionate, loyal and gentle. She loves cuddles and being with people and is very well socialised. It was such a treat going on our walks in the vines, on the trails around the property and taking her for little day trips to some of the local villages (she travels really well!). I honestly cannot say enough good things about her - she is an absolute dream dog and was just the best companion. I truly fell in love with her.

The home itself was very comfortable and especially cosy with the fire through the winter. I was always warm and comfortable. The property has a gorgeous view, a covered terrace and a lovely garden where you can play with Dini and see both the sunrise and sunset. I can imagine it would just be that much nicer in the summer with the pool open! As far as provisions go, the house has everything one should need - I honestly had want for nothing. Everything is set up well and there was plenty of space for my belongings. I loved my bedroom - very calm. Sleeps were great and waking up here every morning was quite dreamy.

There is a real community spirit in the area. Everyone in the neighbourhood was so kind and welcoming to me and beyond helpful and generous during my time with Dini. And of course, everyone knows and just adores Dini.

Sam and Charlie were fantastic with communication and were always there to support when and if I needed. They’re well acquainted with having sitters stay with Dini and have a good guide with all the important information necessary to feel at home and confident in managing the house and Dini. They also gave me lots of good recommendations for the area.

I truly had a wonderful experience. Sam and Charlie were the best hosts and Dini is just the absolute best. I would come back in a heartbeat.

Had a great time watching Hazel Biscuit -- she's very loving and easy-going, comes and goes as she pleases. Mari was welcoming and easy to communicate with throughout. She and Terry graciously opened their home to me a day early which saved me needing to move to a hotel for one night and was a huge help.

Benji is the sweetest ball of energy — you just can't help but love him! He's so easy to take care of and makes for great company on walks in the town and beach. Geraldine and Denis were great hosts. They're so warm and welcoming that Benji clearly comes by it honestly!

We enjoyed our time on this holiday sit. Amy and Kory are excellent hosts who made us feel very welcome in their cozy, well-equipped home. Amy is great with communication—always quick to respond to updates and questions.

Parker, the big fluff ball, and Maddie, the old soul, are both so lovable and sweet! They have simple routines that are easy to follow. They’re well-balanced dogs that enjoy human affection, but are also perfectly happy doing their own thing.

The chickens’ care was also easy—just check feed, water, eggs and clean nesting boxes. They enjoy free-ranging the fenced backyard during the day. The coop has an automatic door and, thankfully, they’ve all learned to be inside before the door closes each evening.

Lexington is a cool university city. Plus, if you like horses, bourbon or historic estates on well-groomed, green rolling hills, this area won’t disappoint!

Valentina and Harry are a lovely couple who made things very clear! Their flat is in a great location, if you want to check out London with the two pups, with nice greenery for them both and cafes etc! Hammy is the sweetest boy, who loves a cuddle, sunbathe and napping! Along with playing with his sister and knowing when he needs to back off! Bella definitely rules the roost, I made sure I gave her space and allowed her to join us in the lounge when she felt comfortable with me!

We had an amazing house/petsitt. Smudge is an adorable, energetic &super lovable dog. Going for walks can be a bit challenging since he tends to pull on the leash. All in all we had a great time, the house is beautiful and the location very convenient.
