I really enjoyed looking after Daisy who is such a sweet cat and the house is delightful. Alvechurch is also a great location for local exploring plus it’s proximity to the delights of Birmingham, including the markets, museums etc.
A really great experience looking after Clare and James' golden retriever Max. He is such a well behaved big cutie - very relaxed when it's evening time and energetic when it's time to play. The area in London is away from all the noise so it's pleasant to go on walks in the local parks especially when the sun is shining. James and Clare had everything prepared and were extremely responsive for any questions which made the stay even easier. Thank you both and thank you Max : )
Diane and Andrew welcomed us into their beautiful farmhouse and made us feel very comfortable. Lexi and Leo also made us welcome, even though Leo decided to stay out for the first day- he appeared on our second day very hungry. Lexi traveled well in our car and explored Rutland water and local villages with us. She behaved perfectly in the cafes and settled under the table. Many people remarked on how good she was. The farm is in a great position with local town and sights 10 minutes drive away. Sitters will need a car or bike to get around though as there is nothing within walking distance, apart from the fabulous walks around the farm. We were treated to sightings of hare, deer, pheasants, kites, swallows and swifts along with many other birds. Thank you Diane and Andrew. We really hope to be able to sit for you again.
We enjoyed our sit at Jo‘s place. Mousse is very uncomplicated cat, just give her food and leave her in and out and she is happy. The house was nice and clean and we had everything we needed. The contact with Sonja and Jo was/is pleasant. Gladly again!
Me and my friend Maria strongly recommend this housesiting. Bor and Ralph have provided all the necessary information and are always available for our questions. The night before their trip they offered us a wonderful dinner and they were a very interesting and well-disposed company. The house is very comfortable, very well situated and in a very nice neighborhood, next to the S1 line, which allows easy access to the airport and the center of Hamburg. Susu and Ori are very independent cats but very friendly with humans. We really enjoyed the time we spent with this nice family.
Beatriz and Jay made us feel very welcome from the start. They have a great air-conditioned flat near Gracia. Calm neighbourhood but still lively with bars, restaurants and shops. A stone's throw from the Park Güell. Bob is a happy and easy bunny to look after. He enjoys company and is the perfect clean house companion. Communication was easy with Beatriz and Jay, we would like to take this opportunity to thank them once again for having chosen us.

Karen is an awesome dog walker. My dogs love her, she's always on time, sends pics of their walks and is very responsive. She's very flexible and willing to do extra walks when needed and if she isn't available for a given time she can usually help me find another dog walker who is. We are so lucky to have found Karen to care for our three cats! We were out of the country for a month, during which Karen sent us photos and videos daily, keeping us updated and informed. Our eldest kitty has special needs and requires multiple medications twice a day; Karen handled her beautifully, with genuine care and affection. She graciously took a piece of feedback regarding petting this kitty, and helped our cat feel so much more comfortable. Our two others are extremely shy and usually don't appear around new people, but they became Karen's new best friend! Stephanie is amazing at taking care of animals. I have had others watch my cats with some issues. Not Stephanie! She was able to find my senior cat and hand pill him 2 times a day. She visited 3 times a day, giving him lots of pets and attention. She ran my tub faucet for him. She misted our hermit crab too! She sent us frequent updates on our trip that put our mind at ease. Our 15 year old cat was in the best hands with her! We highly recommend Stephanie for pet care. She is the best!

Fabulous, loving, fun, generous, and so many more wonderful words come to mind when describing the experience we have had with Stephanie. Max, our now 12 year old Wheaton terrier has boarded with Stephanie and her family many short and long stays over the past few years. He has always been treated as if it were his own home and came back to us happy and healthy. Stephanie sends pics and videos everyday of max playing with her adorable and sweet French bulldog Lucy in the house, in the backyard, taking walks, and just relaxing. She is incredibly caring and careful about food and medicine, allergies, picky eating habits etc. And Stephanie has always been very flexible about drop off, pick up and last minute timing changes. We feel so calm and comfortable that max is happy and safe and are thrilled that we found this wonderful second home for him.

We love the family vibes of all staff members loving and taking great care of our Dakota Mae and Wallen as soon as we walk in, in the mornings. Turning into the parking lot, our pups get super excited to see where they’re going! They were very accommodating and kept watch while he was struggling with his back paw before surgery. We love all the cute events they have monthly to keep the dogs interested and entertained! When there’s bubbles, you’ll know Dakota will be there!!! Having an easy 123 text system to be able to check in, ask questions, etc, being watch on the cameras brings lots of comfort and peace watching our pups play, and having social media to see many posts of the fun event days is the best part of my day! We love dogtopia 💕
We love Dogtopia! My dog was adopted from what we believe to have been a puppy mill situation when she was between 2 and 3 y.o. When we adopted her, she was extremely shy, afraid of children, and sometimes aggressive with other dogs due to fear. She didn’t know how to play with toys, but she did love adult humans. She’s 12 now, and has gained more confidence from regular dog park visits and play dates with friends’ dogs. Dogtopia has been a huge part of her overall happiness and wellness for the last two years. The people who work here are very careful and loving towards all the dogs in their care. They’re always well staffed and the dogs are never le ft unsupervised. They always remember my dog’s name, preferences, health information, and personality, and we only bring her here once a week. I’ve recommended see them to friends, as well. My dog LOVES Dogtopia, and we love them, too!
Our dog absolutely loves it here, she’s high energy and the environment allows for a great mix of socialization and rest. The staff is incredibly kind, patient, and helpful! It’s very clean and well kept and I like that the dogs are separated by size so it’s not too anxiety producing for smaller dogs. I feel good leaving our pup here to play! The app makes it really easy to book services and having access to the daycare camera is a great benefit, I love checking in to see what our girl is up to! Usually trouble, which is another reason the staff is so amazing!

My dog is very high energy, so daycare is a fantastic option to keep her well exercised during the work week. The staff members have all been very kind and quick to address any questions or concerns that I have brought up. I also love all the themed days and photo ops, such as back to school picture day, Halloween costume contest and pictures with Santa!
Mookie goes to Dogtopia at least 2 to 3x a week. He absolutely loves it! He comes home super tired from a day of playing with his friends. The staff is really helpful and friendly! We love how easy the app is to use to book daycare and boarding appointments. We also love that we have access to the webcams so we can see what our pup is doing. Also, the themed days are so fun and we love to get pictures of Mookie!
Friendly, flexible and so understanding of our most precious pups. One (who will remain nameless - Pia lol ) who is so calm until she meets someone and then becomes a “jumper” but Dogtopia understands and our other good boy is just the sweetest …..just excellent understanding and care !
The staff is great. Our dog always comes home worn out from his day of play. He runs to the door when we say Dogtopia or doggie daycare.he especially likes the pup cups.
My dog loves it here! The staff is great, and the web cams are a wonderful resource. I love that they have 3 different rooms so there are not too many dogs in one playroom. Another place I tried while ago had WAY too many dogs in the play room. This way there are plenty of dogs for my Bernice to play with and the staff is able too monitor them. Bernie is happy and gets lots of exercise and socialization.
When I leave my baby here I leave 100% confident and relaxed that he is in the best care. The owner can’t be more professional, knowledgeable, and caring towards the dogs. My dog loves coming here and we are very blessed to have found a doggie paradise ♥️
We received regular photo and video updates, and they were in touch with us regularly from the beginning. Honey had a lot of fun with them and their dogs, and he was returned to us happy and healthy! They were fantastic and we will definitely use them again.
Georgie loves going to Pleasant Paws. He comes home after a day at the "inn", happy, healthy and exhausted from playing! This is a family run clean daycare and they love and care for my boy! The pictures are Georgie hanging in the backyard where the dogs play !
Great place to leave your dog for a day or board for longer stays. My boy Blue absolutely loves this place, sometimes I think more than home with us. He gets a great workout with his buddies and is exhausted when I pick him up. Billy knows dogs and I trust him immensely with our pup.
Our dog Hudson loves going to Pleasant Paws Inn. Julie and Joe are terrific! They take good care of our pup. We feel very comfortable bringing Hudson there for daycare and boarding overnight. Great family-run place!

I left my dog Meadow at Pleasant Paws Inn for over a week and was so impressed with the care, love, and attention that she received. I would give them 20 stars, if I could. I only wish I had found Pleasant Paws Inn sooner! My dog is a bit on the anxious side and I have never been comfortable with the idea of boarding him in a typical kennel environment. It is clear that everyone at Pleasant Paws has a genuine love for the animals in their care and importantly, they are fantastic about communicating with me while my pup is there. The best thing I can say is that every time I have brought Finnegan there, he is happy to go and every time I pick him up, he is happy to come home. Perfect <3 !
Pleasant Paws has been our dog Fiona’s home away from home for a little over a year now. Both the indoor and outdoor spaces are clean and well- maintained and the outdoor play area is spacious and allows the dogs to run, play and exercise together. Most importantly, Julie and her staff are kind, caring and attentive - they are tuned in to each dog’s personality and make a real effort to accommodate their needs and behaviors. Fiona loves being there, and I love being able to look on FB on the days that she is there and see pictures of her throughout the day! We are always confident that she is well taken care of when we leave her at Pleasant Paws, and that has given us enormous peace of mind.
Wonderful, dependable, and friendly staff and clean, spacious indoor/outdoor crate-free facility with lots of room for the pups to run and play. My dog Elliot runs up to the gate every time I drop him off! I highly recommend Pleasant Paws Inn for boarding or daycare.
Our dog Clover has gone to Julie and Pleasant Paws Inn for nearly 3 years now. Clover loves it there, whether for daycare or boarding. She can't wait to get out of the car and be with them for the day or the weekend. In particular, it has been such a relief for us to know they're available whenever there has been a family emergency. They're so responsive and ready to take Clover on short notice. We never have to worry.
Julie and the staff at Pleasant Paws are the best in the business. Our boxer puppy Cooper spends two days a week at daycare there. When I pick him up after work he is exhausted and happy from playing all day long! Just this past weekend Cooper spent Friday through Monday at PPI while we were away on a weekend trip. Cooper did GREAT! We got to see pictures of him playing with his friends on Facebook while we were away. When I picked him up on Monday I couldn't even get him out of the car he was snoring so loud! It was so nice to know that even though we missed Cooper while we were away he was well taken care of and didn't seem to miss us too much! Joan is absolutely the best! I have peace of mind knowing my cats are in reliable, loving hands when I’m away. Joan has been caring for my two cats since I adopted them over 10 years ago. She’s always been responsible, kind, and caring. When my mom passed away I needed to be away unexpectedly for several weeks, and Joan stepped in to take care of my kitties on very short notice - I’m beyond grateful. She responds to inquiries quickly, and posts pictures of both cats each time she visits! Joan is a true blessing.
Joan is a reliable professional. She took care of my cats many many times while I was living in New York. She developed a relationship with a couple of shy cats and I could always count on her. She gave me peace of mind when I couldn’t be there with my precious babies.
Joan is wonderful! She is very conscientious, caring and reliable. I left my elderly dog and 2 cats in her care for 10 days and didn't worry about them. She sent me pictures and video regularly and got my shyest cat to come out and play with her. She really loves animals. Joan has been our cat sitter for more than ten years now, and we cannot speak highly enough about her. We return from trips and weekends away with our cats happy, well fed, and calm. When our senior cats died, she was one of the first people we texted, as we knew she had forged special relationships with both of them. When we got our kittens (who are now four year olds), we knew that they would be in capable hands always. She is reliable, thoughtful, and caring. She goes above and beyond to play with and show affection during her visits, as you can tell by the condition the kitties are in when we return (mad at us, but overall content!). The best is when she posts "proof of life" photos on Instagram and Facebook so you can see their sweet faces when you are not at home. I would recommend her to anyone in the area who needs top of the line pet care, and her rates are very reasonable.
My two cats and I have been very lucky to have Joan in our lives for the past five years. I could not be happier with my experience as a customer and my cats could not be happier to have Joan as a friend. Joan is always easy to schedule with – she always responds promptly and confirms that she’ll be there, whether I’m organized and giving her a week’s notice or if I’m making a last minute trip and need her help the next day. I have two older cats, one of which is diabetic and requires shots twice a day, and one of which has allergies and must be given a daily pill, and is also quite shy. Joan has been able to handle these extra care needs without any problem. And she has even taught me a few tricks to get the shy one to take her pills! Joan goes the extra mile to do things like empty the recycling bin, wash the dishes in the sink, bring in the mail, etc. Most importantly to me, my cats love and trust Joan, and so do I. She has taken the time to really build a relationship with each of them. She was especially patient in getting my shy cat to come out of her shell, and I really noticed a difference that she became even more affectionate with me! When I come home from being away, my cats are always happy and at ease and my house is in order. It is worth every penny to me. Years ago, before I had Joan in my life, I would ask a friend or neighbor to check in on the cats, and there were often signs of stress – most frequently they would pee on something, like my bed – oh, so fun to come home to that! When my older cat become diabetic about five years ago, I knew I needed to engage a professional I could trust to come twice a day at scheduled times, and who had experience with giving insulin shots. And I am so glad that this led me to find Joan. It was truly life-changing. Instead of spending my vacations worrying about my babies, I knew they were in good and loving hands. I could not recommend Joan more highly or enthusiastically!
Joan has been our pet sitter for over ten years, and she has been extremely helpful and reliable. She always takes excellent care of our cats -- even the difficult one! -- and even helped us figure out how to get our stubborn, elderly cat to take her medication.
