Mary and Heather were excellent house sitters! I'd be happy to have them back anytime. The cats were well taken care of and the house was clean and tidy when I got home. I enjoyed getting pictures of the kitties every few days and appreciated knowing all was well.
Bacini and Lampo are really sweet dogs; they are well-behaved and full of love to give. Bacini loves cuddling and rest on your lap, and Lampo, the youngest one, loves to play around and be by your side. We felt they appreciated our company, and we really enjoyed theirs. Kelly was super welcoming. She picked us at the train station and gave us a tour of the house before departing. We communicated regularly and she was ready to help us with whatever we needed. Kelly’s house is beautiful, with a huge terrace facing the bay. It’s located in Pozzuoli’s surrounding area, connected by train to get to Pozzuoli and Napoli’s center, but as public transport (especially buses) in Napoli is not that reliable, and we didn’t have a car, we had a bit of difficulty to move around. We tried to visit not-so-crowded beaches, but we ended up wasting 1-2 hours waiting for the bus or train. Despite that, we were able to enjoy our stay, visit historic places, and have a really good time. As it was a very hot summer, with basically no rain, we couldn’t take the dogs out for a walk that often, and because of that, there was a lot of cleaning involved. The house is also full of plants and a vegetable garden that required regular mowing, watering, etc. We highly recommend this sit to anyone who would like to spend time with two loving pups. They are the best company one can ask for. We will really miss Bacini and Lampo!
What a blissful stay we had at La Chaise! Samson and Cassie are probably the best behaved dogs we have ever met. Both are very tender and loving in their own way, playful and full of energy, but at the same time highly obedient, so you have no worries at all about letting them roam a little - they’re excellent at recall. Our hearts ache a little thinking of them, we miss them dearly, Charie & Emma are so lucky to have loving companions like them by their side full-time. Louis & Pumpkin are roamers, who show up occasionally, but are very easy-going and cute & cuddly, when they do. All four are incredibly easy to care for. Charlie was a wonderful host all around. He took a large amount of time to show us around, make us familiar with our surroundings and even did an evening round with us to make sure we were at ease with Samson and Cassie and their collar system. It is lovely to see how fond he is of the two and how much importance he gives to making sure they are well taken care of in his abscence. Furthermore, he has done a wonderful job on the house at La Chaise and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we need, including a home-cooked meal on the day of our arrival. Thanks for everything, Charlie & Emma, Samson & Cassie, Louis & Pumpkin! We recommend this family and sit without hesitation! Just beware, prepare for a heavy heart on your day of departure 🥹
Very easy house/cat sit! Comfortable and great location.
Annette and Martin were very welcoming and made us feel at home immediately. They have a beautiful and comfortable home, set in a rural location although you soon realise that the village of Vafes is a 10 minute stroll and Vrysses about a 40 minutes walk. There are some beautiful walks in the vicinity and we enjoyed our time here. Bayleaf is such a sweet natured dog, well behaved and no trouble at all. He loves running on the beach which is a short distance away but not keen on long car journey. We would happily return to sit with Bayleaf should the opportunity arise.
Absolutely the best experience. Phil was so friendly, kind and welcoming. We had great communication before and during the stay. He even shared his fabulous friends with me! The 3 furry boys: Felix, Colin and Paris were sweet, loving and great companions. And delightfully quirky. Phil's house is in an amazing area; close to shops, cafes, restaurants, downtown, parks and world class beaches. The house is so special, clean and well-equipped. If you get lucky enough to house/cat sit here you will be forever grateful and extremely glad you did. 5 big, bright, happy stars 🌟
We had a wonderful 6 weeks sit at Sara's place in lovely Eimsbüttel. Everything was well prepared and straight forward which made us feel at home so easily. Now to the fur babies: Alice and Minerva! Alice is an adorable funny and very entertaining cat. She made us laugh a lot and she is a cuddly affectionate cat and gave us a lot of love. Minerva is more independent but always curious and lurking in the near. It was a pleasure to see how she warmed up with us more and more and get always a little closer which made us very proud. Brave cat! Both are playful and so easy to take care of. The communication with Sara was excellent all the time. We had a very good feeling from the beginning till the end. When there was a question Sara was always available due to her phone. She is a friendly, kind person and was very caring that we will have a good time at her place. The flat in itself has everything you need for your stay in Hamburg. On top there is a well equipped huge kitchen and a lovely balcony:) Further there are many shops, coffees, restaurant, grocery stores in the street and you a very close to the city center with good connections to all main attractions (Schanze, Planten un Blomen, Harbour, etc). It is a quiet, lovely and safe neighborhood. We would sit for Sara again in a heartbeat and already missing Alice and Minerva a lot. Take care and thanks for the opportunity ❤
