I very much enjoyed my time with Blu and Pie. What contrasting and lovely personalities they had with Blu acting as the regal, observant senior and Pie with the energy of youth! They were a lot of fun. The home is comfortable, large and beautifully situated. I loved my walks down to the beach itself and the lovely back porch overlooking the majestic view. It was a pleasure.
This was a great sit. Shadia and her furries were very nice to us. We stayed three weeks and the house was very comfortable. The kittens are very calm, sometimes they would argue with each other haha but most of the time they are relaxed and sleeping. We appreciate Shadia's trust in allowing us to stay at her house and take care of her kittens. We will miss the kittens 🤗 hugs!
Yahtzee is the calmest, most well behaved dog, especially for a lab mix. He is leash trained and even puts himself to bed at night. We had a great time taking long walks along the river, meeting his doggie friends. Nicholas and Sarah were gracious hosts. I will be returning for another stay in a week. I recommend this sit for other sitters in the future.
I had a great time staying with Lila! She was such a joy to hang with and take on walks, and Ruthies home was super comfortable. Ruthie was also very communicative and helpful the entire time I was there. I would definitely stay there again!
Monika and Stuart are excellent hosts, their lodge is lovely and cosy, and the views from where they are situated is spectacular, they have a large variety of birds visiting the feasts that Stuart so very kindly provides them with. Rocket and Bonnie the 2 beautiful and very intelligent well behaved border collies, they are are great, the trust that they showed in us was wonderful, they both allowed me to brush them daily without any fuss they were excellent on a walk and their recall was immediate, and they played well together. Barry (the cat) on the other hand was quite rarely seen except for feeding times, but he had a nice snug place in a shelter outside for when he wanted to use it. We ventured out to Leek on the Saturday which is a quaint old place and has a very interesting weekly market and we were lucky enough to go on the right day. Thank you both for a lovely stay and your generosity, we look forward to coming again
Annie’s house is a nice rural getaway for those who want to be out of London, have a digital detox, and take a break from work. Lots of paths and trails to keep you occupied and fit. Annie was had lots of recommendations for places to go. The 4 occupants were friendly, really helpful showing me how things worked / where things were. There’s always someone to talk to in the kitchen-dining-sitting room if you’re lonely. Although things were a bit noisy at times and space was tight for buying and storing food out of Rusty’s reach. The bed and bedroom are comfortable, and the ideal place to relax after long walks and watch TV. En-suite is luxurious. Rusty is a good boy, who is a great running partner who runs alongside yet gives you space. There’s lots of safe enclosed paths to run / walk him off leash. He’s good at not going too far ahead. He’s good to recall and tuck in beside you to politely pass other people and dogs. He has lots of energy and is sometimes rambunctious at home so we enjoyed 1-2 walks twice a day, even a 3rd at bedtime. He enjoyed chasing sticks, so gather a pile while walking to throw, and he’ll sprint after. He loves water and enjoys a daily swim.
