I really enjoyed this sit. Mary was very friendly and easy to communicate with, she was so kind and even left me a wonderful welcome gift. Both Osito and Shadow are wonderful sweet cats with lovely personalities. I became quite attached to Osito as he’d often sleep on the bed with me. Shadow was also super friendly and loved a head bump and scratch. The house is in a great location, has everything you need and is lovely and bright. On some nicer days the garden was great for some air and would be nice when the warmer weather comes. I mostly worked at home and the wifi was great. I definitely recommmend this sit and hoping I’ll have the chance to return in the future.
If you’re lucky enough to be offered this sit - do it! Sophie & Guy were wonderful in their handover, organisation & help. Everything was thoroughly explained and Sophie was kind enough to organise a cable pass so I could take Bruno up to the top of the mountain for walks. Bruno and Monty are both gorgeous pets. Both are incredibly affectionate and kind-natured. Bruno loves a big walk and the area is perfect for it. Definitely a treat to have a dog that is so happy to do a long climb and his pure joy was genuinely infectious. Monty is quick to climb onto your lap and loves a pat. Verbier was a cute little area, too. It was low season so much of the village was closed but it didn’t detract from the experience at all. Thanks for having me! :-)
James was great at communicating beforehand over Zoom and text. Loki is gorgeous, sweet, and a bit of an escape artist, but with that name he had to be mischievous! The location is amazing and James' suite is quiet, cool, and cozy. I really appreciated the detailed Welcome Guide!
Pheobe aka Sweet pea spends most of her days eating, lounging, cuddling (when in the mood ) and lightly playing. She let's you directly in her best cat to human way is needed which helps to stay on schedule. The complex is modern, industrial set in a walkable area surrounded with art and eaters. If your driving, the main attractions are less than 25 minutes away (if you're familiar with atlanta traffic, this is a big plus). Inside the loft/building is everything needed for a more than comfortable stay; Including a gym and pool. Jason and adora were very thorough with instructions and communication before and during the stay. Them being vegan was also very inspiring and introduced many new alternatives. Overall it was a peaceful stay and the perfect place for remote work, curious companionship and inspiration
Lucky is a gorgeous dog inside and out! Good location to explore Norfolk. Lovely house to stay in. Easy to communicate with Mish and Michael.
Debbie and Glen's home is the best! Beautiful kitchen and lovely backyard area to play with Riley. Oh my gosh, Riley is the cutest little Corgi ever!! She is so smart, well trained and has a routine that is very simple to follow. She talks to you with her eyes and lets you know exactly what she needs or what you forgot to give her. Evenings on the couch were cozy and warm with Riley nudging her nose under your arm or hand as if to say "glad your here". The neighborhood is super dog friendly and you can walk for miles or circle a few blocks. Super markets and eating places are plentiful as well. If I had to say what I enjoyed the most about this sit it's hands down the dog!! (the kitchen skids right in there as a second).
