Martyn
Helen and I had a wonderful time housesitting and looking after Mojo for Martyn and Chrissy. They made us feel very welcome in their home and provided us with excellent information concerning Mojo and the surrounding area. Mojo was a breeze to look after and we became very attached to her over the 6 weeks due to her great nature. Mojo liked nothing more that to be around you and was always happy to sit beside you and wag her tail looking for a pats, cuddles or a tummy rub.

The house was very comfortable and clean. It’s situated in an excellent spot in Bangkok and feels like you are miles away from the busy city but you are only a short walk away from the underground train and Busses or numerous restaurants and convenience shops.

The landlord who lives nearby was extremely generous and helpful which made our stay even more enjoyable. The 6 weeks went too quickly and we would love to see Mojo again and house sit for Martyn and Chrissy if the chance arises again.

Ivanner
It was a privilege to stay in Ivanner’s beautiful home with Nala and Hoby. The sunrises and sunsets are the BEST, making walks with Nala even more enjoyable. We saw rainbows and a hot air balloon fly over the backyard and land in a field at the end of the street. Princeton is situated well to enjoy events and festivals around North Texas.

Nala is very sweet girl, who’s also a competitive tug-of-war partner! She loves belly rubs. We could count on her to greet us each morning when we got up with an immediate rollover for a belly rub as her “payment” for being so good throughout the night! The affection is well-earned and well-deserved. She endeared herself to us even more by sitting at and ON :-) our feet (just to make sure we weren’t going anywhere) as we sat down to watch a movie each evening. Her favorite treat is ice. She’ll be at your side at the first faint whir of the ice machine. She can even hear it from the backyard and comes running inside to the fridge! Hoby is a cute little hamster and is amazingly Industrious. It’s fun to see the work he’s done overnight, rearranging his paper bedding and carrying pieces up ladders to the upper levels of his habitat. He’s easy to care for.

Ivanner communicates well and regularly and made us feel very welcomed and comfortable. He made sure we had everything we needed and ordered things for the pets, as needed. Ivanner has a great sense of humor and is very friendly. We highly recommend staying for him if you have the opportunity.

Sydney & Trent
3 day sit. Cute house. Sweet pup. Lovely location. However, despite giving a daily update & photo, asking a clarifying question when needed, getting up in the middle of the night for their young pup, staying longer when their flight was delayed, and leaving their place shining clean and laundry done, they seemed ungrateful. My cousin & I did the sit together; my cousin became ill while there and so I paid for a hotel the day we were leaving (not in the original plan) so I could give their house a thorough disinfecting & airing in hopes they would not catch the germs when they came home. We of course took pup with us to the hotel when we went and continued to give her great care (the sit manual gave us permission to take the pup out & about). I brought pup back with me when I went back to clean. I then received texts from the owner letting me know that they had been watching me with their security cameras and timing how often their dog went out. They didn't see that the pup had gone in the car with us and so accused me of not taking the dog out often enough. Then they said I made things stressful for them because they "didn't know what was going on." They had not texted me to ask me what was happening, and I did not know they were spying on me. I had not felt the need to give them such detailed updates when they were trying to enjoy a vacation and everything was under control at their house and with their pup. I had of course updated them on my cousin getting sick and what I had done about it once cleaning was finished, but apparently that didn't matter to them because they were stressed about watching their security cameras. I would definitely not recommend sitting for them since they do not show trust or gratitude and invade the sitter's privacy.
