It was an absolute pleasure having Carolina take care of my 2 ragdolls while I was away. She immediately adjusted in and the cats loved her. She was caring, organised and she would definitely take care of your fur babies as though they were her own.
This was a straightforward sit. Edna's house is comfortable, with a nice garden, in a pretty location. Edna made me feel very welcome and told me all I needed to know about the house and area as well as the cats. The cats were easy to look after. Tibbles clearly missed Edna, which was sad to watch, but she still was coming to me asking for strokes and sitting on my lap within a few hours. They are affectionate cats who like to be stroked. Edna had warned me that they sometimes wee in the wrong place and gave me some advice on how to avoid it, but we did have one mishap while I was there, because I forgot to do one of the preventive things!. If you like walking, I recommend the coast path, but expect it to be more windy than other parts of the UK!
Loved looking after Ninja, he is a cool wee dude! House was beautiful and Christina was a pleasure to communicate with. Left me some food too, thanks so much Christina, might have to come back and check out windsor castle again. Cheers, Joe
Sweet and amazing little creatures - all 6 of them!!
We had 3 video chats, numerous texts on the details and spending over 2,000 dollars on airline tickets from California to Susan's sit in rural Ireland....it was absolutely NOT accurate at all. Finding a completely different dog growling, barking and lunging at me and told the dog I was expecting had died. Also told this dog hates men due to past abuse and having a man in our party who had to literally stay upstairs in a closed room to be safe away from the dog. Susan failed to mention that the same dog chews shoes and anything else out. She failed to mention that her cats pee all over bedding and she had no spare blankets. She failed to mention that the full Renovation that was to be done before we got there, the construction was 6-8hrs a day which caused the dog to growl and bark the entire day. Susan didn't think to mention that the workers (all men) all have spare keys to come and go as they please, they turned out to be very sweet but I didn't know that upon arrival and therefore had the first few nights sleepless worrying about my safety! She never showed how to even lock the back doors that even a neighbor had trouble with. The beds were extremely lumpy and bedding smelled sour. She never mentioned I'd need to get up at 5am to leash and take 3 dogs potty in the dark with big metal shavings all over or have Kelly the Shepard poop ALL over the house. Never mentioned all the mold and peeling paint, nails, screws on floors. She had a light fixtures hung above my daughters bed and we returned to sheetrock ceiling paint, dirt and 2 little metal wires on her bedding, pillows and clothing. She left me the number of a taxi as the village is 3 miles one way, there is NO taxi and even her workers thought that was weird. Absolutely NOT as presented and all this is AFTER I told Susan I had spent the last year battling stage 3 breast cancer and NEEDED a peaceful, cozy, relaxing place to heal and decompress after so much trauma. She absolutely lied to me about the entire sit. I reported to THS and after sending them videos, pics ect they were shocked by her many violations and how awful it turned out to be for me. I left after 6 days rather than 3 weeks, as trusted house sitters advised me to do and leaving early has now costed me another 1,700 dollars in changing my tickets and fare differences. Susan has absolutely RUINED a trip I so badly needed after my cancer fight. BEWARE!!
Valerie and her family are very nice and friendly people. They warmly welcomed us into their beautiful home and made us a delicious dinner. We could use bikes, stuff for craft, a lot of sports equipment and board games. Their home is spacious, comfortable with a cozy garden. Greystones is a lovely city to stay in. We found there everything we needed like cafes, shops, restaurants, we enjoyed nice beaches, cliffs walk, food trucks, Sunday markets etc. Ollie is an incredibly clever dog, he knows a lot of commands and tricks. He is easygoing, good on the lead, loves to play in the dog park, walks and runs with his dog friend Betty. Ollie is very social, playful and gentle to children. He enjoys human company at home. We had a lot of fun together. Gizmo and Romeo are sweet cats, usually taking a nap by the window and after exploring the neighborhood are coming for cuddles. We had such a great time. We can only recommend it to all who love animals. Cuddling is in high demand in this house 🙂.
Lovely stay in a summer area! Sheila and Alex are wonderful hosts! We met videocalling previously and everything was pretty clear before my arrival. When I got to their beautiful apartment the handover was easily handle and they took me for a ride to show me the surroundings! I LOVE their 3 cats!!! Islay and Harris live inside the house and are absolutely lovable and amazing cats. Lots of playind and cuddles 🥰 Horrace is a stray cat coming to eat and he does not like to be touched (he has this beautiful hypnotic eyes to make u love him anyway) I had the best time with them. The house is so great! A quiet apartment with the community pool literally two steps from the terrace. Recommend this sit for everyone who wants to enjoy the beach and explore the coast region of Murcia. Thanks for everything Sheila & Alex!! Hope to meet you again sometime
