The gorgeous Bertie and Otto have very individual personalities, get on well together, and are a pleasure to spend time with. Judy and Scott were awesome! They are friendly, warm, and welcoming. The communication before our sit went smoothly, and we felt good about the sit from the start. They helped us work out a time to come familiarize ourselves with the house and little Kiwi, walked us through everything we needed to know, and left clear instruction on their routine. Kiwi is such a marvel; she's a spry 17-year-old athlete and actual genius. We love her. Their neighborhood is safe and absolutely gorgeous (we want to move there now!). We had the time of our lives biking around to a delicious bagel shop and beautiful beaches (all less than 10 minutes away!). We would do it again 100 times over. Thank you Kiwi, Judy, and Scott!
We had a great time sitting for Debbie and Bob. Agnes and Jessie loved to come on long walks with us. We also had use of the car so we could take them to walks in the country. Tash and Barney were super easy and very friendly. The house in Plymouth is within walking distance of the harbor (30mins). Debbie and Bob invited us over the night before our sit started to meet the pets and Debbie cooked us a great dinner.
This was my first sit through Trusted HouseSitters. It turned out to be a wonderful experience. The description of the apartment, their dog, Emma, and the duties involved was accurate and complete. The apartment was very bright and clean, uncluttered, well-located to grocery, public transportation, restaurants, park. Emma, their three old rescue was a little shy at first. This was expected and it didn't last very long. She ate and walked well. She became affectionate and was always easy to manage. We communicated every day by means of WhatsApp. Monica and Andre are gracious. They provided clear instructions and a welcoming warmth. I would be pleased to sit again for Monica, Andre and Emma; I wish them all the best.
I had a great time at Barbara and Ian’s. Their home is very comfy, the bed was great for example ☺️ and the garden is pretty. Very close to a large walking area so it’s convenient. Their dogs are lovely. Amber is the young one and loves cuddle and attention. You will need to be a bit more careful with Tia as she’s taking medication before and during meals. They are both super easy to deal with and they like a good walk. I highly recommend staying there.
