Jim and Carrie are very good people and went out of their way to make sure my stay was comfortable. They have a beautiful house that was super fun for me coming from Canada to spend outdoors in the screened in patio with the kitties. Baby Luna and Baby Harriet are energetic and playful but easy to care for and love. I would definitely recommend anyone house/cat sit for them in the future....... I would to if I come back to Florida.
Sheana, was a great host and made us feel very comfortable in her home. The community is wonderful with friendly and helpful people. We loved it. Mabel is so special, sweet hearted, we played, walked and just hugged all day long she was just like our own puppies. She would tell you what she wanted, when and was happy go for a short walks. We highly recommend this opportunity to deal with wonderful people and the loveliest Mabel.
We had a really good and easy time at Glen’s place – the house is comfy with a beautiful garden right on the river and it is a short drive to the town center. Being near the beautiful Okavango, giraffes and zebras can be seen on your dog walks which is fantastic! Some caution is required as there may be crocs and hippos too (Emma adores swimming!). Kitsiso and Joseph provided excellent domestic support and we enjoyed chatting with them very much. Glen also has many interesting stories to tell and he is a welcoming, very organized host who wrote down helpful instructions on the pets and house routine. We became very fond of cheerful Emma, quiet Chloe (best guard dog ever), Terri the little big boss and Losiento, her Majesty the cat. These pets form a very endearing family and we miss spending time with them very much.
(I wrote a review months ago, I"m not sure why it did not post then) I had the pleasure to spend 2 weeks at Eli's lovely home with Stella who is an easy cat to look after! She loved to get brushed and some attention while she eats, and she slept with me a few times since it was rainy outside, but otherwise she spends a lot of time outside. Communication with Eli was fun and easygoing. The location of his house is very convenient to everything you might want to do in Kona and has everything you need for a pleasant stay!
Hannah's home was very inviting and since we are local we met them before the stay. Blue and Shadow were absolutely fantastic. Such loving and relaxed dogs, they enjoy their walks and play time but also enjoy just sun bathing by the windows. I really enjoyed their company as I work from home so I was able to spend alot of the time at the house. The dogs know their routine and are so well behaved! We were very comfortable in their home and Hannah was so easy and great communicating with throughout the stay.
Thank you for sharing your lovely home and pets with us. Doug and I loved all the personalities, snuggles, and entertainment. We'd come back in a heartbeat <3
