Dog Sitters in Penrose, NC

It was great to have Sidney back for another week with Gracie. Gracie was delighted to see her again and it made it much easier for me to leave her behind. Sidney took her for hikes, sent photos and updates, and left the house in great shape. She’ll always be welcome to return!

I couldn't have asked for a better person to look after my dog, my plants and the house. Mike has excellent communication skills and gave me frequent updates and photos which made my trip that much more enjoyable, knowing everything was OK at home. He gave Smoky lots of exercise, love and attention and I think the health of my plants improved under Mike's care. He was considerate of my privacy and left the house cleaner than he found it. Mike is a caring, sincere person and I hope he will come back and care for Smoky when I travel in the future.

Will looked after my home and cat for about a week while I was away and I highly recommend him! He is very reliable, kept me posted on arrival/departure timings, gave me regular photo updates of my cat and left the house perfectly clean. I came back home to my cat who was visibly very relaxed and from the pictures they bonded very well. Super grateful for the peace of mind he provided me during my holiday, I felt Krishna was in super safe hands. Thanks Will!

Kathryn and her family did a tremendous job taking care of our cat! They left the house in great condition (my cutlery has never been so neatly arranged), communicated promptly and were very kind and attentive! Highly recommend!

Crystal is a very sweet and kind person and I liked her a lot when she came in to meet Zazu and I. I could see straight away that Zazu liked her and For me the most important thing on these sits is that Zazu is safe and happy and that my flat is well taken care off. And Crystal did that. This being said, there’s a few points I’d like to mention. As she knows, there was a bit of miscommunication on the check in day which meant Crystal arrived later than I had wanted and Zazu was alone longer than I wished, so I take the lesson to be more clear about it in next sits. I also wouldn’t have minded if Crystal had sent me more updates (like once a day) but I didn’t feel too good asking for it as I didn’t want to disturb her. Also, one day Crystal locked herself out with Zazu and luckily my neighbours were around and had a spare key, but very often they are not and that would have been a stressful time for Crystal to resolve it as during Christmas time I didn’t have anyone around with a spare key set. Finally, something that bothered me a little bit was that when I got home Zazu’s water bowl was totally empty, and of course that’s a big issue for me and it made me wonder how long it had been empty for. I am sure it was just an innocent slip mistake but quite an important one to not happen again. Overall, Crystal was a lovely person but I did wish all these little hiccups wouldn’t have happened.

Ben was such a lifesaver for our last minute pet sitting needs. He took excellent care of our puppy and house. We came home to a super clean house and happy puppy. He was very accommodating and went above and beyond to make sure we didn't worry about a thing while we were gone. We would definitely use Ben again!!!

Star was very attentive n loving towards my Blue. He loved her. She texted me every nite n included a video of Blue. Anyone would be lucky to have her care for their pet/s.

Diane & Bob were great with our fur babies. They bonded with 'the boys' immediately and seemed to really enjoy taking care of them. Bob and Diane are originally from this area of central Florida, so they were familiar with The Villages. They participated in some of the recreation activities offered in The Villages. Right before we left, Harley developed a rash from his recently grooming and Diane put salve on it until it was gone. Bob & Diane were good about watering our plants due to the extreme heat while they were here. It was nice to come home after two weeks to a clean house and well-cared for puppies.

I cannot say enough good things about Maren - she kept a warm, friendly, positive attitude about a difficult pet care situation with one cancer-ridden dog and also a healthy one. Though my healthy dog Huggo is relatively easy to care for, there was a lot to do to care for my other dog Penny who has cancer. Maren kept the dogs fed, clean, safe and happy while I was away and sent regular updates and photos. We kept up communication throughout my overseas trip and I was able to enjoy myself knowing my dogs were in responsible hands. She was also respectful of my apartment and cleaned up after herself and the pups. I am very grateful and I highly recommend Maren!

Michelle was very good at communication with us while we were away. The house was in great shape when we returned and Michelle laundered and made both guest room beds. Thank you!

So grateful for David taking care of my fur babies while I was away! Kept me informed of my cats and came home to everything cleaned and maintained just like I left it. Highly recommend!

Kim came solo, and she was fantastic! She brought us wine and chocolates! :) Kim immediately bonded with our dogs Wally and Winnie, and they loved her so much they barely looked up when we returned home from our trip, as Kim rubbed their tummies. Kim left our house sparkling clean. What can I say? You can’t find a better zeewoi than Kim!
