What a wonderful sit! John and Lesley are so warm and welcoming, they gave us a full tour of the farm and went through everything for the pets and house in detail as well as leaving printed instructions. Pete the dog is an absolute softie and he can be walked on the property so it's very easy to take him out. After his walk he is happy chilling and will come in for some fuss when people are in the kitchen. Min the cat loves to curl up in the kitchen and keep you company while working etc. She is adorable. The house itself is set in a gorgeous, idyllic location and you could keep yourself entertained without even leaving the property with several walks etc, and a pond that you can swim in. John also recommended an excellent local pub with great food. We would definitely reccomend this sit and would be very happy to come back 😊
I had a fantastic week at Kamila's apartment. Marvin and Penelope are great company - they are affectionate and playful and love hanging out on the balcony (I appreciated the great views over the forest too). Kamila was easy to communicate with throughout the whole time and it was lovely to have dinner with her the evening before she left and get to know each other. Most of my house sits in Berlin are in the city so I always appreciate the opportunity to be somewhere a bit quieter. The apartment is right next to the forest, so when I wasn't working I would walk in the forest and swim in the river. The apartment is very close to the s-bahn, so it's easy to get into the city too. An all-round lovely house sit that I hope to have the opportunity to do again.
