First time leaving our shitzu Loki with Scott, Jack, Cerys and the team and what a wonderful experience! It’s such a professional, well thought out set up and it’s obvious that it’s not a job to them but a passion. Would highly recommend !!

Thanks to Scott, Jack and Cerys for making Ralph’s first time at the little dogs hotel so amazing! It was Ralph’s first time staying somewhere other than family so I was a bit nervous, but the team and environment is great! We were sent daily updates and photos so I could relax and enjoy my holiday, knowing he’s in safe hands and enjoying himself making new besties! Visited here to try and board our two small dogs; originally the guy had us send a load of WhatsApp messages and wouldn't let us come and see the place and tried to say one of our dogs looked over 30cm and it was against his license if the dog is over 30cm(she's 31) I contacted the council prior to our visit and they have no such restriction on his license so it was a dishonest reason given. He then changed his mind and said we could come and visit which we did today (over an hour drive) with both our dogs, and then he said she was too tall by one cm and if he lets her stay he would then have to make exceptions for everyone etc. It didn't matter that I pointed out that he had a dog there which I could see through the window that was taller than 30cm…When I said he wouldn't as he could judge things on a case-by-case basis and maybe have a trial night/weekend just to see how she would be and I mentioned that I'd contacted the council about his license he then got very defensive and funny so then you know he's not being honest if he has to defend himself. I then asked to take a picture of the license which he then refused and then got defensive and angry and threatened to black list us from all other boarders in the area. If he had just been honest or more open-minded from the beginning and said its their personal choice as to how they design and run things then that would've been a whole different story but the fact he chose to lie and then try to blame us is just bad business etiquette. To prove the blacklisting I've submitted the images of the WhatsApp messages. Even their photo shows a poodle over 30cm. What a load of malarkey.

We have been sending our miniature dachshunds to LDH since around May last year when we only had one boy. We now send both our boy and girl and honestly they love it! I was terrified when we first took Albie because he is so attached to me and I was worried he’d struggle but now he couldn’t care less that I exist once we set foot in the gates! Little Rosie has only been going since September but is exactly the same! They have so much fun, love Scott and Jack and the whole team! And of course love ALL their doggy friends! We are sent update photos and videos pretty much daily, regardless of whether it’s only a daycare session or we are away, which are always adorable! LDH genuinely know what they’re doing with all small breeds but particularly dachshunds and they are always on hand for advice. They bend over backwards to accommodate our requests and we literally recommend them to anyone regardless of whether they ask or not 😂 they were so helpful when Rosie started her first season much earlier than anticipated and we really appreciated that they instantly accommodated Albie to keep them separated. We can’t speak highly enough of them and we know that if Albie and Rosie could speak English they’d thank you for looking after them so well!

My 3 little fur babies have been going for a play day each week and when we go on holiday. They run in and love the team. We feel so happy that our gang our safe and well looked after. Lots of photos are sent to help us when we miss them. Would highly recommend LDH to anyone. X

Leaving your dog in the care of someone else is never an easy thing, so when you do you want to be assured your dog will be safe, well looked after, and has a happy and enjoyable stay. Little Dogs Hotel definitely ticks all those boxes. Our mini dachshund loves staying and playing with his friends there. Not just his four-legged friends either. He’s always excited to see the team at Little Dogs Hotel and loves a cwtch with Scott, Jack, Nancy and Cerys. Organising stays and keeping in touch with the team is easy, and we regularly get photos sent to us of him playing with his friends. Little Dogs Hotel really is fab.

We couldn’t recommend a better, safer and friendlier place to send your little dog than here! We have been sending our little Charlie here for day care, overnight and holiday stays now for a few months and she loves it! Not only does she love seeing here pup pals here, but she loves seeing the staff, too! The team here are always on hand to help and no question ever goes unanswered with them. You can tell from the care they give to your furry friend just how much love not only their jobs but animals, too. They are trustworthy and take pride in what they do always. The pupdates whilst your pup is staying there are the most wonderful little addition, too! With activities for your pup inside and out, their own little rooms (just like a hotel) it’s no wonder Charlie gets so excited for a stay here! Thank you all for being so great!

The best place for little dogs! My little dachshund has so much fun there! First day there he was a bit nervous to start but got out of his shell after some cuddles with the workers! Now when I drop him off, he just runs straight in to play! Always has the best time!

Could not recommend Little Dogs Hotel enough for looking after our pup while we were away. Previously, he'd always stayed with family so we were naturally a little nervous, but the whole team put us completely at ease, sent us daily updates of our dog's stay and were 100% attentive throughout the whole process. We've also used Little Dogs Hotel for day boarding, which has been equally seamless and provides added piece of mind when you need someone to look after your dog. All in all, would recommend without a shadow of a doubt!!

Fantastic doggy hotel. Our little lads love it here and we feel so safe leaving them in the more than loving hands of the little dogs hotel team. Booking is really easy and the set up is fantastic. It’s like a home away from home for them. Picture updates for over night stays and daycare drop off and pick up times are perfect for working pawrents. We love little dogs hotel!!

Exceptional Care and Service at Pentyrch Kennels Abi and the entire team at Pentyrch Kennels are simply amazing. We’ve entrusted them with our dog, Zeus, several times now, and I can’t imagine leaving him anywhere else. The care they provide is top-notch, and it shows in how much Zeus loves his time there—he even cries when it’s time to leave! The daily updates with pictures are such a thoughtful touch, giving us peace of mind while we’re away. It’s clear that Abi and the team treat Zeus like one of their own, and we couldn’t be more grateful. Pentyrch Kennels has truly become a second family for our boy, and we’ll continue to bring him here for years to come.

This kennels is fabulous, the staff are amazing and caring and can manage any breed and any personality of dog. I email them asking for dates to put my mischievous dog in and they are always prompt in responding. We have been using them for 4 years. The kennels are clean and tidy and do not smell like a lot of kennels which is brilliant. I know the moment I drop my dog off to the moment I pick him up he has been cared for.

Our girls love coming here, and always happily leave us. They clearly feel like it's home from home, and are comfortable with the staff. If we message when we are away we get an update, and lovely photos on the Facebook page. We only ever use these kennels now, as we know our girls are safe and happy. Thank you to everyone who works there. We will continue to bring you back sweets from our Greek travels!

The first time using these Kennels over the Christmas period. After searching for the right Kennels for my Labradinger and Dachshund to stay together (they have separation anxiety). I looked at the reviews of these kennels and thought it sounded amazing! I emailed asking if the dogs could stay next to each other when I booked them in back last summer and was pleased to hear that they could accommodate that. However all that was previously put at ease was very short lived. Whilst on holiday I had no update from the kennels, no photographs nothing. I emailed to ask for an update and the reply was very blunt and just said They are fine. My oldest daughters picked the dogs up and they said that they were opposite sides of the kennels and the lady said to them “your better off keeping them apart if the dachshund has separation anxiety as it makes them more independent”. Surely this should be the owners decision not yours. When my Dachshund was brought to my other dog and my daughters he was so scared of them, he had clearly been bitting or nipped by another dog (which I had not been made aware of) as there was a cut to his upper lip and nose. I will never ever take my dogs back. I don’t know what all the good reviews are about but unfortunately our experience was shocking!

We took our dog Digger there for the first time last week. We were offered a tour of the facilities before we left him. He went in happy and we were pleased with his condition on picking him up. Have already booked for our next break. Diane Pollington

Pretty hit and miss review from us. This was our first time using a kennel for our older dog and puppy. The grounds were lovely, reasonable prices and Laura was lovely. The owners a pretty moody guy but I cant fault their promptness in getting back to emails. Our dogs are our babies and we hadn't experienced kennels before so maybe we expected too much in the form of reassurance as we received no updates over two weeks unless requested myself. I rang about two days after dropping them off to ask how they were doing and the owner sounded a bit funny and told me that he himself was fine (lol), then passed me over to Laura who updated us. Our older dog had definitely lost weight over the 2 weeks and I was really surprised that we had food left over to take home (they usually finish the bag within a week). I can't say whether this was lack of feeding or if he was just being nervous and not eating? My main issue was when picking them up, one of the dogs had been squeezed into his harness through one of the leg holes which I had to cut off with scissors. If they couldn't use it properly then, did they take him out for a walk with this harness? If I was a kennel owner the first thing I would do when the owners picked up their dogs is give a thorough update...temperament etc... Not sure if I'm wrong to expect this? All in all they were happy to be home, they were clearly safe and we were given a VERY reasonable price. They did nothing but howl for the first two nights back..... may or may not be a reflection on Pentyrch, just an observation from me that you can make of it what you will. And to be fair, he let me off by £3 :)

Not happy with the experience I had with two dogs left in the care of this kennel. Upon arrival the staff seem clueless, they don't ask any questions and just wait for you to speak. Do you guys not have a protocol on what to ask every owner that comes to kennel? Both dogs went into the kennels with no health issues, both left with issues and one had to leave early due to their negligence. Starting with the more severe issues, I'm going to write about the dog that had to leave early, Willow the bulldog. Willow was taken to the kennels in a healthy condition, not a mark on the poor girl. This dog has Entropion and the kennels were told as such the dog will try to rub her eyes and will need to be watched in case she starts to rub them. If these instructions were too much for the kennels they should've told me so and sent me home with the dog, but instead they attempted sub par care. In the photos you will see the message received to let me know of Willows condition and also photos of Willow after she was immediately picked up from the kennels. The message I received was WAY to relaxed in comparison to the actual condition of Willows face. This massage was also the only correspondence I'd had the whole time. The kennels had written permission to take any dog to the vets, but just sat on their hands and waited for a reply, whilst a dogs face (MY DOGS FACE) was bleeding all over. My cousin had to be arranged to collect Willow as she couldn't be left in the kennels care any longer. We are glad she got collected early as the vet said the injuries were from multiple nights and had already become infected. I had only received any news about Willow's condition the morning I had her picked up, that's when her face photos were taken. The staff tried to change stories saying it only happened over night, when the vet informed me it was over multiple days/nights these injuries had formed I was furious. When my cousin (a small woman on her own) confronted the staff upon collecting willow and demanded to speak to some management, 3 men turned up in a van. The very fact they would even try to intimidate someone let alone a small woman is absolutely disgusting. YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES. Willow was returned with the wrong dogs possessions, this includes toys, bedding and food all belonging to beal-angel (the name is attached to the bag). Seriously. Now onto the second dog, a beagle, Copper he does have a tendency to howl, as beagles do. But in the 8 years I've had this dog I've never seen him lose his voice. Copper came home with his vocal chords absolutely fried, his barks currently sound like his vocal chords have been clipped and it breaks my heart. It makes me fear he was howling the whole time he was at the kennels with no affection whatsoever. Oh and he returned with worms, joy. I gave the kennels specific feeding instructions with pre bagged food for each day and way more treats than would be needed for a week just to be sure they had enough. I did not expect to be handed back empty boxes, I put extra days of food in for the dogs as a just in case, which means they clearly overfed both of them. The treats were also all gone, there was enough to last at least 3 weeks, so not sure what happened there. Also I believe noone is with the dogs after around 5pm, I'm pretty sure from what the staff said to me that there's no overnight staff which I would've deemed essential for such a large kennel. Especially if your leaving the dogs alone from 5pm, disgraceful. They aren't farm animals, they're pets. I'll never use this kennel again, I don't want my dog alone for most of the day that's not what I pay for. The negligence in the photos of Willow speak for themselves.

After researching which kennels to use online, we decided on Pentyrch. We’ve never used a kennels before and was slightly worried about leaving our pup for the night, but all worries vanished when we were greeted at Pentyrch. Super friendly staff, well cleaned and kept kennels and a lovely secured play area at the back! They showed us where he would be staying and asked about his food routine, we have a very picky pooch so this was much appreciated. You can also request a bath for your dog at an additional charge of £10 which we think is fantastic value for the care and effort they take (and the dog smells amazing!) Our dog was very happy when we picked him up and almost didn’t want to leave the lovely staff that looked after him for the night - we will 100% use this kennels again when we next visit the area🤍 Thank you so much Pentyrch!

Great kennels, staff are always friendly and easily contactable. Plus they post photos of our dog on request when we're missing him on holiday. Couldn't recommend enough!

I’ve been using Friends for Pets since Sept ‘23 and highly recommend Beth (I’m sure the other dog walkers are just as great too but I’ve always had Beth to walk my collie). From day one, she’s made me feel reassured that my dog is in safe, loving hands. Sblot (my dog) is always excited to see her, even when she’s out on a walk with me and spots Beth out with other dogs!

I found Friends for Pets Cardiff by chance/providence whilst chasing my lurcher puppy round several different locations in the Cardiff area. Cath, Anna, Beth and Georgina were always super friendly and tolerant of my dog wanting to join in with the fun of their walking groups. Beth who walks Maggie now regularly is a great help on our journey through puppy mayhem. Maggie is beyond excited every time she sees Beth for her walk and Beth somehow manages to have the patience to walk/run her through the rain, wind, mud and occasional sun even when she's ill herself and would probably rather not be being jumped on by a lunatic spaniel x saluki. It's a testament to her dedication, understanding and love for dogs and I'm very grateful to Friends For Pets and regularly recommend them to anyone who needs a reliable, trustworthy and caring dog walker service.

My dog Martha loves her walks with Catherine. She also loves having her holidays with Anna (I'm sure she prefers staying with Anna more than being at home!!). We wouldn't use any other company. They are reliable, friendly and most of all they love Martha as much as we do.

Friends for Pets have been walking my Sprocker Morgan for over 18 months, having previously used them when Morgan was puppy. They offer an excellent, reliable service, and always accommodate, where possible, any last minute changes. Morgan loves going out with Aunty Anna and her Spaniel gang. I love seeing their adventures on insta and FB, I can tell she’s having a great time, she returns home, happy and relaxed. Can’t recommend them enough!

Friends for pets Cardiff have been taking our dog Marvin on group walks for a year now and it’s been one of the best decisions we’ve made. Beth his walker is amazing and the care and love she has for him is clear to see. Marvin doesn’t stop wagging his tail the morning of his walks as he waits near the door for Beth to arrive and it’s lovely to see the pictures of him out enjoying himself. Beth has really helped us, especially with last minute changes or needing to do extra walks. I can’t recommend Friends for Pets Cardiff enough and wish we’d found them sooner.

Our doggo has been walking with Auntie Anna for over a year now, and she absolutely loves it! We got her during COVID and as such were unable to socialise properly, she got on well with other dogs, but we wanted her to have more regular interactions with different dogs. Since we found Friends for Pets we have been using their services for 1 walk per week. It’s her favourite day and she really looks forward to her jaunts with Auntie Anna and friends. We are very happy with the services we have received and hope to keep our weekly walk with Auntie Anna and friends for the foreseeable. Thank you!

Friends for Pets Cardiff have been our dog walkers since 2020 when I got my whippet Luna. Beth has been walking Luna for the last 2 years and is wonderful, she always makes sure Luna has had a good run and it is clear from how Luna greets her how much she loves Beth. She really loves and cares for the dogs as if they are her own and is a lovely person too. Catherine is also so kind and helpful and will go above and beyond to help if she can. We have been using friends for pets for a year now since our puppy was just 12 weeks old! The amazing Beth has watched our Lola grow up and she truly adores her! Beth always makes sure Lola has the best time on her walks and even lets her sit up front in the car sometimes. Just like to say what an amazing company Friends For Pets is. Catherine is a lovely woman who is very accommodating and helpful with dogs. They would text me the day before about times they are coming for my dog which was very helpful. They always take my dog out for a very long walk. He was always very happy to see them and always very tired when he came home. I would recommend this company to anybody who is struggling with getting their dog out. We've used Friends for Pets several times over the last few years and have always had a really positive experience. Both Anna and Beth have visited our two cats and we always feel reassured that they're well looked after when we're away. Beth sends us pictures and updates from her visits which is always appreciated and we feel like she's got to know our cat's different personalities really well! We'll definitely continue to use Friends for Pets and would recommend them to anyone looking for reliable pet visits :)

Lynda looked after our 2 cats for 6 days whilst we were on holiday. It gave us great peace of mind that they were being looked after, in their own environment, by someone who has a genuine love for animals. One of our cats is very wary of new people so it was lovely to see her win him over by the end of the week. We'll be using her again twice more this year for other trips away. Would definitely recommend Lynda if you are looking for someone to look after your pets and house whilst you're away.

Lynda & Dave looked after our lab very well, he came hone happy & settled after his stay, not stressed like he had done from kennels. Lynda kept me up to date with photos throughout his stay, 5** service, highly reccommend, we'll see you again in August.

I cannot recommend Lynda highly enough! It was extremely reassuring to have regular updates and photos while we were away and was lovely to see how well Boo bonded with Lynda straight away. I was so impressed with the high level of professionalism right from the start- this mixed with an obvious love of animals and of course Lynda is a genuinely lovely person which made for a fantastic experience. Lynda always takes amazing care of our pup. He can't wait to get in when we drop him off and he is always a happy tired pup when we pick him up. Loads of videos and pictures on Facebook of them having fun throughout the day!

I have just returned today after a weeks holiday with Lynda looking after my cat Sherbert! The service I recieved was fantastic!! She went above and beyond when looking after Sherbert! Every day I recieved updates on how he was doing with pictures and videos - this extra special touch goes a long way to making you feel at ease that your animal is in safe hands and being well looked after! It is clear to see that Lynda is an animal lover and has a passion and love for caring for animals! I came home to a very happy Sherbert who enjoyed Lynda's visits and company! We can't wait to use her again! Really enjoyed my time away knowing my furry baby was being so well looked after! Thank you again! See you soon!! :) xx

Excellent service Lynda is really good both my wife and I were worried our cats Pudsey and Belle would be very timid. Lynda spent time with both of them on each visit and even took some lovely pictures. Will defintely use again and would reccomend to anyone who prefers to have their pets looked after in home rather than stressing them out in a cattery or dog kennells.

I have a very anxious Yorkshire terrier. Since she started walks with Lynda she is like a new dog. She now is comfortable on walks and meeting new dogs and Lynda has been so kind and caring with her! Highly recommend Fuzzy Paws

I used fuzzy paws recently for the cat sitting service so we could have a weekend away. Knowing that my cat was being looked after plus the house allowed us to enjoy our break. Roll on next holiday. Can't recommend enough. Thank you Lynda.

At sort notice Fuzzy paws Cardiff was able to cat sit my cat Charlie.Whilst i went away for a week.Lynda kept in contact & sent me some lovely photos of Charlie. This gave me peace of mind that he was being well looked after. I will be using this great service again.And i can't recommend it enough.

Jo has been absolutely amazing! My dog loves going out on pack walks and is always so excited to see Jo and her doggy friends. She is very trustworthy and I would highly recommend to anyone that’s in need of a dog walker.

Jo is fantastic with my young cockapoo Bonnie! She put me at ease from the very first meeting where she came to meet Bonnie and showered her with attention. I was further comforted when Jo asked if I could bring Bonnie and join her on one of her walks before the service was to begin so I could see how well Bonnie would settle into the little group. Bonnie lights up when Jo comes to collect her for her midday walkies and Jo sends a number of great videos and photos after every walk to reassure me that she has had a great time. Ive not worried for a second that Bonnie hasn't been taken care of on the days I'm back in the office and I think Bonnie has began to sulk on the days she knows Jo isn't visiting Jo has been fantastic! Her communication is brilliant, she is very dog focused and you can tell she cares deeply for your furry family member. Thanks Jo!

Dotty absolutely loves her walks with Jo. She sits on the window waiting for her to arrive. We completely trust Jo to take care of her on her walks and it’s clear she enjoys what she does. We have been especially impressed by how much thought Jo puts into ensuring that the dogs who go out in groups are well matched, get along with each other and play together. We would highly recommend her for anyone looking for a dog walker.

Joanne took very good care of our cat whilst we were away. She showed her lots of love and affection and put our mind at ease with photos and updates. She did a pre-visit to meet our cat and showed care and concern from then and gave great communication throughout. Thank you, we’ll definitely use your services again.

Nico has been on dog walks with Joanne and her pack now for a couple of months. He loves his walks with the other dogs and Joanne is so friendly and accommodating. We were lucky that she had availability and so glad that she did!x

Jo is amazing and looks after our cockapoo Dougie like he's her own! He's always excited to see her and loves his walks with all his friends. We couldn't ask for more, she is flexible, super knowledge and goes above and beyond. I couldn't recommend her enough!!

Joanne takes great care of the dogs making sure they're happy in the group and keeps you up to date after the walks with pictures which is great as you can see how your dog is settling in with the pack! She goes the extra mile, things like how she's modified her car to make sure she can fit the dogs in safely and separately shows how much she looks after your best friend! You can also see how much your dog appreciates her by their behavior when she comes and goes!

I have reported this walker to dog warden. I have a dog that is reactive but as per advice, is kept on lead. Unfortunately this dog walker has dogs off lead that do not come back when called and provoke my dog. Having spoken to the warden they are in agreement that it is only fair if you are warned that a dog is reactive that you should recall your own dog. If it is not responsive to recall then it should be on a lead. Seems this walker tries to take as many dogs out together at one time to make more money per hour.

I'm so pleased we found Jo to help out with our dog care. It's reassuring for us to have someone reliable and trustworthy to care for Ralph during the day, and Ralph thoroughly enjoys his group walks. I would 100% recommend this service.

We have been using PontK9 for 3 years now for regular walking services and more recently, day care and overnight boarding. They are wonderful! They always treat our dog as if their own, taking her to a variety of places and giving her a thorough run out so that she always comes home tired and happy. We have never been let down when it comes to us having had to make last minute plans or changes and they are discreet and trustworthy. Highly recommend them without hesitation! 5* for sure!

Pontk9 is THE BEST dog walking and sitting service we could have asked for. Dee is an absolute professional and runs a tight ship, which makes us feel so confident in the business as a whole. Our one-year-old spaniel Wally has been going on walks with PontK9 for the last five months. Our timid boy, who initially hid at the thought of leaving the house with a stranger, now waits at the window at the mention of their names and cannot wait to see them! Wally has gained an infinite amount of confidence and social skills on account of Llinor and Rob and his participation in group walks; we now benefit from his much-improved recall and socialisation on our own walks with him. The team is knowledgeable and well organised, and we are confident that each time Wally leaves the house with them he is having the best time, which is evidenced by the lovely pictures we receive after each walk. We are incredibly grateful to their team for their work and their huge positive contribution to our dog’s life, in particular to Llinor and Rob, who Wally sees as his best friends!

I cannot recommend PontK9 enough. The quality of care is exceptional. The daily walks are fantastic, with dogs having opportunities to walk in different surroundings and socialise with other dogs. The dog walkers are kind, caring and show great love towards the dogs. They post daily updates in the app, with photos that are nothing but wonderful. Payments and scheduling is easy to navigate via the app. Their duty of care, great communication and dedication is second to none; I would highly recommend.

Our dog loves being part of the pack at PontK9. He has groups walks 2 or 3 times a week and has sleepovers when we are away. PontK9 take amazing care of him, he loves being with Prys or Rob and they love him to bits in return. They have become our puppy’s extended family ❤️

PontK9 are incredible, I can't recommend them enough. Our dog Ella was nervous about leaving the house so we were unsure it would work out but they have been amazing. Prys is our dog walker and Ella can't wait to see him. No problem leaving the house as she has so much fun. The app is really good, booking is easy and the chat function is perfect for keeping us up to date. Prys let's us know how Ella has been and sends us pictures of her having a great time with her new buddies. 100% recommend, they're caring and passionate about what they do. I felt a bit nervous and guilty going on holiday and leaving Bela for the first time last week with Esther but she had a blast! Esther and Bagel looked after her well and she came home a tired and excitable beagle. I can't recommend Esther enough. She's experienced and patient and sent us lots of photos and updates every day. Dee and Ben have been a godsend for me and my little labradoodle Alfie 🙏🏻 he’s got separation anxiety to the point where I can’t leave him home alone at all at the moment, as it’s just me and Alfie at home this has been very challenging. Dee was so helpful finding the right place for Alfie with Ben, and Alfie’s had a blast at Ben’s house, he’s taken such good care of him. They’ve both been really responsive and accommodating, I couldn’t recommend them more 😊

We are very happy with the updates and Alfie's walks. We love the photos Rob sends us. Alfie, our black labrador enjoys the pack walks so much, he jumps in the van, no barking not a peep. The booking and process is excellent so easy to use.

We feel really lucky to have found PontK9, and our dog gets so much enjoyment and confidence from group walks and boarding (diolch Lee!). It's a really professional service, and everyone is really knowledgeable. Booking is really easy too. 15/10 recommend.

We've been using Gedrys for two years now, regularly boarding our reactive rescue collie overnight. The staff are so kind and friendly, and we love checking in on their Instagram to see photos and videos while he's staying. They really seem to understand dogs and take the best care of them. Couldn't recommend more highly.

Love using this place for my dog’s holidays. He always comes back happy. The staff are excellent, and really take the time to play with the dogs.

They exceed expectations and are head and shoulders above kennels we used previously. We wouldn't use anyone else now. I feel like I should add this - our border collie Oreo has separation anxiety and it takes A LOT of work to make him trust you. It took the good people of Gedrys Farm kennels 1 day to make him open up and feel comfortable, and we could literally see the results through their daily photo/video uploads on social media. It makes going away so comfortable now and I can't recommend them highly enough. Thank you.

Used after our arrangement with our dog sitter broke down. Everything was put in place really quickly and we were reassured that Charlie would be in good hands. The daily videos were very helpful so we could relax while away. We will come again. They offer walks too for longer stays.

This is the only kennels I feel happy to leave my previous little girl 🐶💖 dropping her off is like dropping a child to a party...she races off with no time to look back as she's too excited but at the same time she's always equally excited to see us when we pick her up and she comes home happy happy happy but tired from all the playing with her various friends. This was today after a sleepover with her friends 🐶💖😴 thank you Gedrys for taking such good care of our crazy little loon but gorgeous princess 😘x

It was my first time leaving Lily in kennels, so I was very nervous about picking the right place. The reviews were fantastic for Gedrys and local to where I live. The ladies were fantastic with lily as she is very cautious of strangers, but she went in with them with no worries at all. They post frequent pictures of the dogs playing which put me at ease when I saw her having a good time. I will 100% use the kennels again and recommend to any friends and family looking to use one. Thank you to everyone who took such good care of her whilst I was away.

We have used these kennels three times now, and our Labrador loves it! Everyone is so friendly and helpful! Great added bonus is that if you like their Facebook page you can see videos of your dog while you are away. Very reassuring. Definitely recommend.

We managed to get a booking for our dog at short notice. They were excellent with her and she came home very happy. The staff were lovely with her and made sure she settled in when she was a bit worried on her first day.

I’ve always had praise for this kennells but it’s clearly gone down hill. It was always 5 star rating but now it’s a solid 2, it would of been a 1 star had it not been for the Facebook images of our girls whilst away. Unfortunately we are very disappointed this time, our girls have stayed with Gedrys a few times & we have always been happy with both the care for our girls & the customer service from there team but this time we are sorry to say we are not happy. We made contact with Gedrys early this morning after landing back in the UK as our flight had been delayed to inform apologise that we would be late, at this point all was fine & they promptly responded saying yes sure no worries but a charge will incur, this again no problem it’s to be expected after all they are a business. On route back to Wales we got caught in traffic due to a accident on the M25, so we again made contact to let them know we would be later again but said we would now aim for after their closed period between 12-2pm again they responded with that’s fine. We finally got back to Gedrys for 13.40pm, we knew they would be at lunch but we’re happy to wait in the car, on arrival at the kennel I saw a guy up by the office as I pulled in, I wasn’t sure if this was a customer or staff member but I could also see my girls & they saw us. I walked up to the office & was in the middle of saying “ Hi, I’m here for Libby & Beau, I know” when a female member of the team who is usually lovely VERY RUDLEY jumped in “ Yes well next time wait till 2pm as I’m eating my sandwich. If she had of waited 2 more seconds, I would have finished my sentence as with, “ I know you’re at lunch but when you are ready I’ll be at my car”. I was very taken back by the sheer rudeness & poor customer service by this person. Our girls were brought out I paid the additional late check out charge & went to the car, as we were walking away the same rude employee stated, “ There faces may need a wash” well in fact the girls were wreaking of urine that bad we had to drive home with the windows open. We do expect for them to be mucky due to the location to where they are staying but saturated in urine 100% not. If we came back to a conversation of, we had to give the girls a shower as the rolled in something etc I’d have happily incurred a cost than my girls sitting / festering in stagnant urine.

Lucy is wonderful with our dog - who is coming up to 2 years old and is a handful! Integrating her into Lucy’s pack and making sure she has the exposure to lots of different dogs and experiences. Lucy’s influence is also helping us train our dog to be more respectful of other dogs.

Lucy and her team have been walking my lively Cavapoo for over a year now, and she loves every minute. She has improved generally with socialising, recall and obedience. Lucy is very professional and creates a happy environment for her charges, I can highly recommend her.

After following Lucy on Instagram for some time and seeing how great she is with all her client dogs there was no doubt about me leaving my 7 month old dog with her for the weekend. We received regular updates from her including photos and video on walks and at home and it was clear our dog was having the time of her life, albeit very exhausted for days after! Thanks so much Lucy, we can't wait to use your services again.

Well What can I say?! The bond between my little lexi and Lucy is amazing to see 🥰 Lexi was so scared of men, the wind and other dogs etc., it was insane the fear she had. I could not go to the park and let her off the lead. I would worry that she would run off. She would constantly bark at people and dogs. Lucy is a genuinely lovely, kind person who i trust completely with lexi 🐾 The leaps and bounds she has done for her is absolutely amazing and can't thank her enough. Plus Receiving all the updates and videos from Lucy throughout the day really puts me at ease and its great to see her loving her time! Everyone as noticed a massive change in lexi. She's still improving loads and cant wait for her to become even more confident. She loves her pack life 🐕❤ I highly recommend Lucy leads.🐾

Hands down the best dog walker in Cardiff.

We have an 8 month old Golden Retriever pup who has stayed with UltiMutts on a couple of occasions and he’s already booked in for a couple of holidays we have coming up. UltiMutts are so friendly, professional and accommodating. We’re always met with a warm welcome at drop offs and pick ups, receive regular updates/pictures throughout our dogs stay and he never seems to want to leave which is quite telling! Denise and Nick are both lovely and you can clearly see how much they love dogs. Our dog Rudy has also made great friends with their adorable Rudi - double trouble! It’s really reassuring knowing that you’re leaving your fur baby in safe, caring hands. Can’t fault UltiMutts at all and would recommend to everybody!

I highly recommend Ultimutts for anyone looking for a home from home for their fur baby. Alby loves visiting for his holidays. He is always so excited when we arrive barking at the door to get in. Denise treats him like one of her own and goes above and beyond for all the dogs in her care. I receive photo and video updates of his outings as well as time indoors and he always comes home very chilled and relaxed.

We have two Tibetan Terriers who are 11 and 9 years old. Ultimutts was recommended by a good friend who also knows how difficult it can be to find a home from home feel for your much loved dogs, which is exactly what you get with Ultimutts. We have used Ultimutts on three different occasions, and our dogs absolutely love being with Denise and her husband Nick who clearly adore animals. The welcome we get is always so friendly and accommodating and they clearly understand our quirky dogs in a way that puts us at ease instantly. I always feel confident when we leave our dogs, knowing that they are in very safe hands. We get sent regular updates and photos which truly does make leaving them so much easier and always puts a smile on my face. Ted recently stayed with Denise for the first time. We had a lovely welcome, and Ted was reluctant to come away when we collected him. On his second visit he was pawing at the door to be let in, and once again was reluctant to leave. We are very happy to have found such a lovely home from home!

Delighted to have found Denise at Ultimutts after a bad experience elsewhere. It really is a huge relief to know our dog is safe, being well cared for, kept physically active and most of all being given lots of cuddles and affection whilst we are at work. Denise has even helped us with training, we like to call her the animal whisperer! The location is very convenient and it is really lovely having little updates throughout Bella’s stay. It’s so comforting to leave our dogs with Denise and Nick as it’s like a home from home for them. Our dogs are used to be around humans and love the company and to also play with their dogs Lulah and Rudi. We love getting the photo updates of them enjoying a snuggle by the fire which is very reassuring when we are away. They have so much fun we almost feel mean picking them up. We have already recommended Denise and Nick to friends and will continue to do so because to the great care and affection our dogs get when they go to stay.

We spent a lot of time looking for the right environment for Skye to stay in when we needed to go away. As a recent rescue it was really important it was somewhere she would feel comfortable and secure. It was obvious from the first time they met that Skye would be happy and well cared for while at Fran's. The regular photo and video updates really put us at ease, seeing our slightly nervous dog happily snoozing upside down on the sofa was everything we could have hoped for. Skye clearly has a great time and comes home happy and healthy. We couldn't ask for anything more!

Dexter loves going to Fran, he gets a separation Anxiety when away from us, but loves being in Frans house, so it means we feel relaxed & he comes away very happy! This is important to us! Fran & her family are dog lovers & it really shows, coz the dogs love them too!!

Our young labrador Rex has loved spending time with Fran while we've been away. He clearly has a great time and is given lots of attention. We also really appreciate the photos and updates we get whilst he's staying there and it's great to return to him happy and healthy. We'll be continuing to use Fran's services as Rex loves it!

Fran looked after my fur baby Henry, the Dalmatian in the photos, while I was on holiday for a week. While he was at Frans he was very unwell and she came home to a mess that she had to clean up. I know that Henry was super looked after while he was so unwell and I really appreciated that. It turned out Henry had cancer and passed away shortly after 😪 We have a new fur baby now and will not hesitate in using Frans services again. If you want yours to be looked after how you would, then Fran is the lady for the job. So friendly and warm. They could not be in safer hands. It really is home from home. ❤

Jaz loves when we go away and she gets to stay with Fran and her family - we often joke that it's her holiday away from us. It's a great peace of of mind, they're really communicative and flexible. Jaz's wagging tail every time we drop her of is a sign that she is indeed a happy hound at Fran's

We chose Fran to care for our dog while we went away and it was his first stay away from home. We cannot thank Fran enough for taking such good care of him, for his numerous daily walks and for putting us at ease with photos and updates. Both my dogs bound up to the front door, of Frans house, when we drop them off. After lots of cuddles they both fall asleep on her kitchen floor. You know when your dogs are happy!

My Belle loves spending time here. She gets all the attention she needs when I'm out or away - plenty of walks and exercise. Would recommend to anyone - so much better than kennels and human contact 24/7.

Truffle clearly loved her time with Fran, happy to be left and happy when collected. Gave us real peace of mind. Very friendly and professional.

The staff at Springfields are great. I’ve used them a few times now. My dog had a bad experience at another kennel. They took the time to gain his trust and get to know him. Milo goes in happy he doesn’t even look back. Thanks for taking care of him.

Our dog Otis has been going to Springfields since he was a puppy for both day care and kennels. He loves his visits to Springfields and can't wait to get out of the car when we arrive. He adores the staff and they always take great care of him. Highly recommended!

Billie & the team are fantastic. Our boy loves his time up day club & we love it because he's normally tired from playing with others 😁 all the team are lovely & really good with our boy. Very accommodating & professional, we know our dog is in good hands.

My English bull terrier stayed here from 13/5/24 for 8 nights This is the second time he has gone here When we arrived & all paperwork was was completed there was no welcome shown for my dog He’s very timid after being attacked by another dog when he was young therefore he’s scared of other dogs In our return to collect him the person who runs it seen us waiting & completely blanked us When our dog was eventually brought to us we were then informed that because of his social issues with other dogs he could not go back there unless we socialise him We have tried dog classes & it made no difference to him I would suggest they DO NOT take in timid dogs I had already decided when leaving him there this time would be the last They are not dog lovers & it’s all about the money I have since spoken to various kennels & my dog doesn’t seem to be a problem he doesn’t growl bark he’s never shown any aggression he’s just a soft laid back English bull terrier…. I have since kennelled him at panty milar kennels & from the start he was made a fuss of & spoken to as you would expect from dog lovers on our return to collect him we were told that he’s such a good sweet gentle dog & he was happier coming from there than he was from Springfields it’s also a bit cheaper although money was never the issue with us but it’s all about the money at Springfields

Our dog Peggy has stayed here a few times now and she absolutely loves it. We were extremely nervous about leaving her for the first time initially but they did such a great job of looking after her. Also really appreciated them administering her regular medication and sending us photo and video updates. She's booked in again soon and I'm sure she'll also love her own mini holiday!

Fantastic kennels that our dog has stayed at for day care and overnights when we are on holidays. We viewed seven other kennels and Springfield was by far the best. The kennels are well presented, offer privacy for the dogs, well kept exercise areas and a massive bonus is that it doesn’t represent a prison like most others! The staff are fantastic and my dog is never in a rush to get home which says it all about how good they get treated there 😂

My Mylo goes here every week and he absolutely loves it! He always gets so excited when he knows we’re close and I can never get him in the car to come home, the staff here are so lovely and you can tell they are real animal lovers. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my baby!

I always use Springfield to care for my cat when I go away, I wouldn't trust anyone else to look after him. I love that they always send me pictures when I check in on how he's doing.

Smooth booking process. My firbaby was there for 4 days and when I collected her she was happy and content. Happy dog, happy owner.
