I loved every bit of my time with sweet Nellie. She somehow knew to sleep and rest up while I was working and then turn on her playful, energetic spirit on our walks. Mary Kate and Warren were very kind and left me with everything I needed, including clear, easy to understand instructions to make taking care of Nellie a breeze. I'm familiar with the area and have done lots of fun things around there so Nellie and I just enjoyed exploring the backyard trail system. The flowers were also in full bloom so I have a camera roll of photos to remember this stay. 10/10 recommend!
I absolutely loved my time catsitting for Sue and Tony in Dolau. It was a great experience, with welcoming friendly hosts, sweet cats, beautiful gardens with a stream flowing at the end of them, lovely lovely views of the hills and surrounding countryside, really nice walks and hikes from right out the front door, extremely kind and helpful neighbors... and a little train stop 5 minutes walk down the lane, with trains running south to Swansea and north to Shrewsbury. Sue and Tony came to pick me up at the train stop when I arrived, and gave me a warm welcome and tour of the house and gardens before leaving on their vacation. Communication with them was easy and clear from start to finish, and they even let me stay overnight after their return so that I could go straight to my next catsit the following day....even driving me back down the lane to catch my train early the next morning. Stiorra, a beautiful golden tabby cat, was friendly right away and stayed close by me whenever she could. She can nip if she gets startled, but she and I quickly figured out how to avoid that; we enjoyed hanging out together, and I became very fond of her. She liked playing in the evenings, chasing a piece of string that i pulled, or batting a little catnip mouse around the kitchen. I think she's adorable. Tarquin and Tinker were shy around me for a long time, but gradually felt safe enough to sleep in my room at night and then, finally, to let me pet them. They are sweet, bonded brothers, big beautiful black cats, and even before I could get close to them I loved watching them move through the gardens together. I work online and travel without a car, and happily spent 16 days in the countryside in Dolau, often hiking up into the nearby hills for amazing views of the valleys below, and on my days off catching trains for day trips to Shrewsbury and to Penybent, the village just to the south. Sue and Tony's wonderful neighbors gave me a ride into Llandrindod and showed me around, and other people I made friends with while hiking gave me a ride there as well. It's a charming town, with a lot to explore nearby. After a little over two weeks I felt like I was just beginning to know the cats, and the friendly neighbors, the gardens, and this beautiful part of Wales. I would come back to catsit for Sue and Tony in a heartbeat...and I highly recommend this sit.
We have just finished a short sit for Linda in Hollesly, Suffolk, looking after her lovely dog Maddie. This was a very comfortable and easy house sit and Linda made us very welcome in her home. The house is very comfortable and well equipped, and Maddie was a little darling and no trouble to look after. Some lovely walks very near the house. We would definitely recommend this house sit to other house sitters.
David and Catherine have a beautiful home in a lovely quiet area. It has everything you need, and more, for a comfortable sitting experience. Badger, Otter and Theakston are such well behaved, loving dogs who were an absolute pleasure to take care of. They are a huge miss for us!

Corvallis Pet Care is wonderful! The owner is extremely conscientious about responding to any questions and accommodating specific requests. My pets can run a bit anxious (as can their owner), but both my elderly dog and cat seemed very comfortable with the visitors. The detailed emails and pics you get after every visit really help to put your mind at ease.
They took great care of our kitty while we were away. Very happy to get daily updates from the caregiver. Strongly recommend and we will be happy to use them again.
I have used CPC on two different occasions for walking my dogs. Jen was prompt to get back to me in response to questions and was well organized. The dog walker I met seemed personable and comfortable with our dogs, who came back happy from their walks. It would be nice to have the same staff on all walks, but guess that is not possible. I would use CPC again.
We are new to Corvallis and new friends recommended Jen/Corvallis Pet Care for our pup Myles. Jen is great. She is knowledgeable about dog behavior and training skills. My husband and I have been using this service for almost a year now and they're the most legit and consistent cat sitters I've seen so far. Every day they sent a pic of our cat as well as an update. We’ve left our cats here twice! They do an amazing job and always send updates with photos of the cats. One time, our kitten was fresh out of an emergency surgery and they were able to last-minute plan a space for him where he couldn’t climb and rip stitches. I was SO impressed with them!
Kitty Cat Hotel was such an amazing find for us and our cat, Sammy! They were so accommodating even when we had to make a last minute booking. The best boarding care you can get for your cat. I boarded my cat here for 2 weeks she was treated with loving care. The unit she stayed in was large very roomy. They let her out periodically to a play area. They sent me pictures of her so I see she was doing well. They are great at communicating. I could tell she was happy and had a great time. When she came home.

I'm a first time pet mom to a one year old kitten. He and I are extremely bonded and I was incredibly nervous to leave him for the entire month of winter break. Trish was so wonderful and sent me regular updates, and he was cared for beautifully. This is now my go - to shelter when I have to leave town.
The place was great. Appeared clean and well set up. My cat had never been boarded before so I was really nervous about leaving him. I received a few pictures throughout the week and updates which appreciated. When I picked him up the process was easy and he transitioned back home better than expected. All in all a positive experience.
We were nervous about boarding our senior cat for the first time. The people here were kind enough to send a couple of text updates about how our cat was doing while we were out. Price was very reasonable and the enclosures were much nicer than the metal cages with towels that some of the other boarding places were using. If we ever need to board our cat again this will be my first stop.
Kitty Cat Hotel was a blessing to have available when my pet sitter was unavailabile at the last minute before my 2 week vacation. Trish was kind and trustworthy and put my mind at ease knowing my Nolly was is in great hands. The hotel is very clean and even my ultra sensitive nose couldn't detect cat odors in the kitty cottage. Very cute little set up with perfect accommodations. The rate was reasonable and I know that my cat was in great care while I was away. 10/10 recommend!
Trish at the Kitty Cat Hotel takes such good care of our 2 kitty's. It is such a relief to leave them with her where they have a nice room of their own with a window, and ledges to jump to, their own potty box, and food dishes. It is a great relief to know your fur babies are safe with her. A fare price as well.
This place is AMAZING! We felt really comfortable leaving our cat with her. As soon as we walked in we instantly felt at ease. The hotel is very well maintained, has great facilities and Trish is awesome and very friendly. She even sent us updates and photos while we were on our trip. 10/10 Highly recommended!!!
With the facilities in a country setting, and the way the dog boarding areas were laid out, there was no thought of using any of the other places we looked at in the area. I especially appreciated that the small dog building is separate from the large dog area. Chris, the owner, was personable and knowledgeable and gave us a great tour. This is a very nice family owned and operated business.
Joyful Noise is the only place we trust our pup with!! Their flexibility and communication when booking is top tier and the way they love your dogs as their own is wildly apparent. The changeover of owners approx a year ago has gone without a hitch and the improvements they are making are nice!!
I have been boarding with Joyful noise for years. My dogs always have a great time and the owner is one of the most pleasant individuals I have met. I live 40 miles away and still choose to board with them. I can't recommend them enough.
I can’t say enough wonderful things about Joyful Noise Dog Boarding! My fur baby “Mr.Bentley” gets to play and hang out with all his friends while I’m away. They love him almost as much as I do! They go out of their way to accommodate my busy schedule. Mr.Bentley is VERY well taken care of! I Never worry about his stays! When ever I ask Bentley if he’s ready to go visit his friends at camp…he runs to the front door! He loves going…what a concept in this day! Other boarders I’ve used in the past don’t even compare! I will never take him anywhere else!
Our two dogs room together at Joyful Noise and always come home happy. The staff are friendly and sweet to my dogs, even when they’re rambunctious and excited. The cost is affordable and it’s nice to not have to worry about them while we are away. I only wish there was a bathing option but that’s because my dogs love to get dirty during playtime. :-)
Have used them twice for vacation and have been very pleased with the service. Our dog loves the cows in the next yard and seems to love the people. Very nice staff. A little hard to get an appointment but they have improved with this and makes me assured thier priority is the dogs.

We were excited upon meeting the owner and seeing the grounds. We were told that our dog would be let out daily to play and roam in the large fenced area they have. Leaving our dog for 11 days was hard, but we felt reassured he would have great care. Upon returning we were only disappointed when we picked him up. I asked why he was in the kennel while the other dogs were not. They told me ONLY at that time, that because he had never stayed at their boarding before, that he was not allowed to be out of the cage. Our dog seemed so very unhappy and it took 2 weeks after picking him up for him to return to himself. Also, we left a familiar blanket from home for him at the kennel while gone, but it smelled terrible with urine when we left from his stay. The owner seemed very friendly and was extremely reassuring of the great care they would give our dog, but after picking him up, I would NEVER take my dog there again. I would NOT recommend Joyful Noise Boarding to anyone who loves their dog.
My dog is always so well taken care of and the people here are so welcoming and friendly that it makes it easier to trust them with taking care of my dog. They are also super reasonably priced and that is really helpful when I need to go away for longer periods of time. We have been boarding with Joyful Noise for basically my dog's entire life and I wouldn't want to go anywhere else.

Kat’s daughter Shannon and her partner Tim, watched my husband’s and I’s 3 dogs and kitten. We were super anxious because this was our first time traveling without our pets. It made us feel a lot better that they offer to stay in home with our pets, especially because it was a holiday season. We got to meet Kat beforehand and she got to know our pets and their habits/routines. They sent us pictures every other day and communicated with us. Our pets seem happy and healthy upon our return, and our house was clean as well, so we will definitely use again in the future!!
Kat and her husband Chris were absolutely the best people to have come to our home and watch our 3 dogs and cat. Not only did they make our animals feel better that we were gone for 4 days, but they took care of things around the house for us as well. Kat and Chris went above and beyond to make sure my boyfriend, our animals and I were happy. Kat sent me pictures of all the animals during each visit to show me how they all were doing while we were all the way in Phoenix Arizona. All the animals loved them as well as well us. My oldest dog has diabetes and requires a shot of insulin after each meal, so I was stressed to the max while trying to find someone to watch them. Kat did a wonderful job of making sure my old guy was completely taken care of with his meds, and hand feeding him, as he is extremely spoiled. If you need someone to come and watch your pets, Kat and Chris are the people to ask

We have a corgi, and ordinarily have always had trouble taking her to get either her nails clipped or other hygiene needs assisted with at other places. The staff here have always been extremely respectful and caring with her and we’ve seen first-hand how calm they’ve been able to be while doing something that she’s generally very uncomfortable with having done. This place is very clean and works hard to ensure all pets have all their necessary vaccinations so that all pets that come in are healthy. Thank you guys for what you do! We really appreciate it!
They took excellent care of our cats for an extremely reasonable price! When we picked them up, they were looking very healthy. The kitty boxes have plenty of space to move around in. The people answering the phone were very nice when I called asking to check on how the cats were doing, and both times, the person I spoke to knew which cats I was talking about immediately and was happy to give updates, which I really really appreciated. The facility is clean and warm, and the people were very competent and professional. We'll definitely be back if we need a kitty hotel again!!
We LOVE Pet Village! I used to worry about boarding my dogs, but now they almost jump out of my car straining to get inside the building! The staff are always so nice, and I always get my pups bathed before pickup. I pick them up smelling fresh and tired from all the playing they get done. I won’t ever board anywhere else!
Amazing place. In the 3 years I've been using them to board my dog they have been wonderful without exception. I don't know how they can treat everyone this nice, but they stayed open 10 minutes late once when I was running late, they've called to check in when my dog wasn't eating much (which is normal for her but I appreciate them checking!) and most importantly my dog loves going there so much it almost makes me jealous! I can't say enough good stuff about Pet Village, so I'll also say if they ever expand to make a "Person Village" I've got first spot on the waitlist.
Took my adult dog to Pet Village for their 8-week Novice training course. Overall super experience! Obedience courses are group classes held in a huge, indoor, fully enclosed arena with a concrete floor. Jen, the lead trainer, manages to choreograph the training of multiple dogs (and their owners) with aplomb and patience. We all ended up performing better than we expected, with both dogs and owners happy. Highly recommend!

They have the best trainer/dog whisperer I've ever met. The training it's great and VERY reasonable. They will help correct unwanted behaviors and make you and your dog feel safe and comfortable. I've not used their boarding.
My German Shepherd has done day training, been boarded and groomed here. My pup has extremely special dietary needs due to a genetic condition and this is the first place we have been able to board him with confidence. We did a trial run for a week while in town and had no issues. My boy goes with them with confidence and has no issues when we drop him off. I tried boarding 1 night at another facility and he didn't want to go with them and he ended up sick all night and they didn't even let me know until we picked him up and asked. Pet Village has great communication and we will definitely continue to use their services. My best friend did the 6wk board and train with her German Shepherd and was extremely happy with the results as well.
This place has been lovely. The training is great. They do a good job at training the humans, so we can train the puppies.
Genuinely terrible experience. My mother went in with our dog (husky) on Saturday and had a great experience. He went through his boarding like a breeze and it took only 15 min for them to tell her yes! Looked like a great experience and she loved the place. Sounded like reservations were made and everything. Fast forward to today, I am the son and I was not there for the boarding. This blonde lady at the counter started asking me questions like as if we are going through another boarding. I did not know the answers because I wasn't the dogs primary care taker. She said there was no reservation, he has no records that he had been there and asked me if I knew if I was at the right place. She said "I don't feel comfortable taking him not knowing this information". All it took was a call to my mom... I felt completely judged based off of the experience and she asked me if I had anywhere else to take him... And no I did not. I have a cruise that I've spent thousands of dollars on and this is what's going to hold me up from going! Additionally, don't require someone to make your dog take a shot when you don't already have a booking available. We've spent too much money just for him to get boarded here with unnecessary shots that nobody else needed. Don't ever treat a customer like this again!
I left my dog for four days at the dog bark. I was very nervous about leaving her, not knowing how she would do. But with the cameras, I was able to check on her several times a day and saw she was doing fine. The staff are great with all the interaction and care they give to the dogs, they do an amazing job. I will definitely be using them again. Now I think my dog will be bored after seeing all they do lol. I will definitely take her once in a while for the interaction and socialization. I would highly recommend them. Thank you so much for taking care of my baby.

Last month we needed to visit our family in the Midwest for a couple of weeks. We chose The Dog Bark for our older dog Dulci to stay at because we wanted him to enjoy playing with other dogs so he didn’t worry about us not being around as much and so he had a good experience while we were away. Our dog has a lot of anxiety, and while he’s great with other dogs he can be moody with people. The staff at The Dog Bark did an amazing job working with him, accepting him and providing him with a great experience! I loved the doggy cams; when we were waiting for our flights we would log into what we called “Dulci TV”and it was great to be able to see our dog and see he was having a great time! I loved the friendliness of the staff and that they allowed me to bring him specialized meals and supplements. I was very happy when they emailed me when we were gone to let me know Dulci was doing well. The staff also worked hard to try to find a kennel for Dulci to stay in every night as I was worried about him not doing well in a crate as he is not crate trained. Overall, I highly recommend The Dog Bark to anyone, especially if your dog has anxiety, your dog will be in great hands!!
The Dog Bark was recommended to us by our local dog park community. We left our 8 month old husky girl for 8 days while we attended a wedding in O’ahu. This was the first time we have ever used a dog boarding service and the first time I have left my dog. I am a stay at home mom so I am with her 24/7. I loved that I could watch her from the cameras, I even called in to check up on her and the staff was very kind and let me know how she was doing. We go on several out of state trips and will be coming back to The Dog Bark. The only cons were that we missed out fur baby. ☺️
This facility is clean and has enthusiastic and helpful employees. You need to book far enough ahead of time to get a dog evaluation and a short daycare stay too see if your dogs are friendly.
I started bringing my dog here around may of ‘23. I really wanted to like this place as I need someone I can trust to take my pet. I brought my pet there many times but would look at the camera and there would be SO many dogs that they could hardly move around. My first thought was “oh those poor workers” and my 2nd was “what if a dog fight broke out”. This place doesn’t seem to cap the number of dogs they accept. My dog came home stressed and vocalizing when I saw her. Each time we went back she cried. We stopped going about a year ago and have found a daycare that has smaller sizes and more interactive play. They also don’t “punish” my dog with water if she jumps. There are many other places in Salem.
It has been a year now since my dogs have come here. Owner and staffs have provided fantastic care for my dogs whether it’s for daycare or boarding. We even boarded our dogs for 2 weeks straight once with no worries and came home to tired but satisfyingly happy dogs. Everytime I drop my husky off for daycare in the mornings he cannot wait to get inside and play. Everyone here is easy to work with, customer and dog friendly. I would recommend this facility for anyone who loves their pets and need someone to care for them when they are at work or away.
bad bad company. i could go into some bad stuff they've done but will let you find out the had way. this gal just smiled, laugh and said we didn't do that today (trim nails) and laugh again. why didn't you call me? i don't know why as she continues to smile and laugh the whole time. you either need a new person to interact with the public
Taking my dog 2 - 4 times a week now. They've been amazing. Even had an emergency because the dog was digging and they, cleaned him up while he was there.
I have been a client of Mandy's for almost 5 years, and she has been a wonderful caretaker to our cats over the years while we are away. She is highly communicative, reliable, very patient, and will go the extra mile. I always love getting her daily updates when she goes to visit our cats. Most recently, during a Christmas morning visit, she noticed a natural gas smell outside our house and called the fire department, who ended up dealing with the neighbor's gas leak. Mandy, at Top Notch Pet Care, did an amazing job looking after our two cats while we were gone for our 4 day trip and our 10 day trip. She was easy going , patient, and truly cared about the well-being of our pets. What we appreciated most was her daily updates. We were happy to get back home, but it was nice to know our cats were well taken care of in our absence. Thank you Mandy!
So glad we found Mandy! We're new to the area and this is the first time we've ever needed a dog walker. We were a little nervous because one dog is very anxious, and the other is territorial. Mandy has walked them 3 times now and it's been great every time. She always sends a photo and a text to check in. Her rates are also excellent, and I've already recommended her to a few coworkers.
I moved to Corvallis last fall and was in need of finding reliable and trusty-worthy pet care for my two cats for frequent work travel. My cats are a little skittish but like social contact, and I was a bit worried how they would react to leaving them alone. Mandy has been amazing. She gives such thoughtful care and attention to the cats and gives frequent updates on their well being while I'm away. Her professionalism and care for details surpasses all my expectations. In addition her rates are very reasonable especially for the high level of care she provides. Whenever I return from a trip, the place is clean and the cats are calm and relaxed - and I think that speaks loads to the care she provides.
Mandy took such great care of our two dogs- a yorkie and pug! She is very reliable and was always available when we needed a sitter. She always provided updates during her visits as well. I would highly recommend her to anyone needing a sitter for their furry friends :)
Mandy has provided excellent care two our two boys, both rescued pit bulls. She is reliable, flexible and a great communicator. We love getting texts and pictures of the boys while we are away. Her pricing is reasonable, too.

They treated my border collie like family. He loved to visit them and was exhausted when he came home. I always felt comfortable knowing my energetic little guy was in good, loving hands.
Our dogs don't stay anywhere else! We know they are well loved and cared for here :) Debbie sends us updates and pictures too, so that is really nice.
Had to make an emergency trip and our other sitters were unavailable. Found Debbie's service through Google and had no idea she was available just down the street. She was able to accommodate our last minute need for a sitter and am very glad we found her. She had her for a little over a week and took great care of our Lhasa Apso who also required daily eye drops. She would send us pictures and updates which relieved our stress about leaving her. Could not have asked for better results. Will be sure to continue using her in the future. Much appreciated Debbie!!! Highly recommended!!!
Debbie took such great care of our dog while we were away. She had excellent communication with us and we felt assured that our dog would be in great hands. It was very comforting to know he was getting individual attention from someone who clearly cared about the animals. So happy we met her!
I needed someone to watch my dog for a couple days and I found this lady through a directory. We met at her house and I found her to be so nice. A really suitable, professional and comfortable environment. It turned out in the end that my mom was able to watch my dog but I will for sure use her in the future if I ever need someone to watch my dog.
