We’ve had such a great time looking after Claire & Mike’s house and farm. They are lovely, kind, and generous hosts. Communication was easy throughout and it was helpful to be able to turn up the day before so that Mike in particular could introduce us to the animals and brief us fully on their needs.

The setting of the farm is wonderful and it’s a great place to spend time amongst all the animals. The goats, alpacas and pigs were easy to look after and such fun to be around. It was a wonderful experience looking after the birds - everything from day old chicks to adult rhea - all of which have stolen Amanda’s heart.

We didn’t get the pleasure of looking after the doggies unfortunately but they both greeted us with barks and wagging tails.

The house is wonderful and spacious. Very comfortable and we felt a bit spoilt. The large kitchen / diner / lounge was a great place to spend our time - very toasty and cosy. The garden and the fishpond are beautiful and we spent lots of time looking out the window at all the birdlife. Oh and being able to use the heated swimming pool was obviously an amazing luxury!

We had a wonderful sit for Jess and Ben. From the initial communication, arriving beforehand to meet them, and then spending 12 days with their menagerie we felt comfortable that we would be able to keep all the animals and house safe. Jess and Ben were so welcoming when we met them, and it was lovely to be shown around the house, gardens, animals, and even a walk before they left so we felt settled.

The sit itself was a dream, with a lovely house in the amazing countryside, two gorgeous dogs who loved cuddles and walks, chickens, guinea fowl, sheep, and a cat, all of which are super easy to look after and great fun to watch as they go about their business every day. We had a wonderful time, felt very welcome, and thoroughly enjoyed our break. I'm already missing walking the dogs and watching Rudi play zoomies for hours with our dog.

Mitzi is a truly lovely dog to sit and her owners are some of the kindest people I have ever met. Mitzi is easy to look after, she likes to cuddle and sleep a lot. But beware, once you let her run around crazy in an open area, you shall see that she actually a pretty good runner. She also likes to run out to the back garden for a few seconds to scare the birds away. At night, she might even be the first one to occupy your bed, she does love a cuddle. A lovely quiet neighbourhood, shops nearby and very cool people!

Sue
We loved looking after Fern, she is a very calm dog and was great company.
Sue’s house is lovely and has everything you need, the location is fantastic, plenty of places to walk and there is a really nice farm shop and cafe very close to the house.
We would would happily take care of Fern and Sue’s house if given the opportunity.

Jess and Victoria are the perfect hosts! Communication is a breeze before and during the sit. Their pet sitting guidebook is exceptionally thorough and helpfully details care for both Calvin and their home.

Their home is tidy and comfortable - with a great view of the Bay, it's a fantastic stay for anyone doing WFH or looking to relax. Every necessary amenity is conveniently available for use - including their Berkey water filter (some of the best water we've ever had)!

The location is great for exploring the East Bay. It's just a short drive to the local regional park, which has some lovely hiking paths.

Calvin, the resident feline, is a joy to pet sit. Social, chatty, and playful - he's easy to care for and does not hesitate to let you know when he wants food or attention! He loves exploring the back patio and is particularly cuddly in the morning! He is most certainly, one of the sweetest cats in the world.
