John and Susan were the first Sitters I used and I am pleased to say they looked after my dog Mabel and our home extremely well. They were very thorough in their communications. Thank you.

Hazel
I had a fantastic sit in Hazel and Walter’s beautiful home looking after the adorable duo Heidi and Dusty and beautiful puss Pooky!
Hazel initially invited me to visit a month before the sit to meet the fur family and show me round the house and explain everything to me.
Immediately I warmed to everyone, Hazel is lovely and so easy to get along with and of course Heidi and Dusty were very welcoming!
Hazel took me a drive with the dogs to the area they regularly walk which was lovely and very useful to know so I was armed with all the information I needed for the sit.
I later met Walter who is also very warm and friendly snd their children. So when I left was really looking forward to my sit.
When I returned for the sit I felt confident I knew all I needed to know and Hazel and family were getting ready to leave for their holiday for two weeks.
So when they left wee Heidi who is mummy’s girl was snuggled up to me straight away and at all times and slept inside the bed with me. Dusty who is very much a daddy’s girl was looking out for him first night but I soon got her round to joining me and Heidi and snuggle up on the couch with us in the evenings watching tv. They are both very comical and look like they are watching it with Dusty barking if any animals on tv. Dusty after second day joined me and Heidi in bed at night so she was very settled and I fitted in between them.😀
I loved my walks with them every day over to Blackford Hill, especially down to the river where Dusty loved to spend time in the water and not want to come out!
During any walks there were constant comments from people about wee Heidi as she is so petite and cute asking if she’s a pup and what breed she was. Dusty too got lovely comments as she’s so cuddly, friendly and adorable.
Dusty is great too when we got back from a walk and I said let’s get a shower to clean up and she was straight in there and so good letting me wash her. They were so funny running about in the beautiful gsrden after each other or trying h to chase sfter a squirrel they had spotted in the tree.
I also enjoyed reading and chilling out in the garden with them as it is so quiet and peaceful in such a lovely area of Edinburgh.
I also took the girls a walk to Holyrood Gardens not so far away from the house and was lovely to sit by the loch there. We also went to Portobello beach, a twenty minute drive away which they thoroughly enjoyed and again got loads of comments from lots of people and conversations struck up about them!
We also had a walk round the block at bedtime before bedtime snack then as soon as I headed for the bedroom they were on the bed already!
I could write lots more about them but will finally mention Miss Pooky the beautiful bundle of with. She gave me a few frights with her loud meow when she appeared from nowhere as she comes in and out her cat flap. She is beautiful and lets you stroke her if in the mood and walks around like a diva then disappears again
upstairs or wandering her territory in the street. Her sister lives across the road.
It was lovely to have a chat with Hazel and Walter in the morning when they returned and hear about their trip. The pups were overjoyed to see them and got pampered big time. Hazel brought me a lovely present which was so kind and thoughtful.
I was so sad to leave after having such a lovely time and will definately love to return to look after the ‘pups’ again as they are amazing as are Hazel and Walter.

Paula
I had a lovely time at Paula's in Leek. Paula was welcoming and helpful and Yildiz was easy to look after. She took a few days to warm to me but after that was sitting on my lap at every opportunity. There's beautiful scenery in the area especially on the road to Buxton.

We sure enjoyed our sit with Rip and Rosie. Barbara and Mike are very kind hosts who really cared about our experience and their kitties. Their home is very comfortable, beautiful and clean. Their guest room and bathroom are spacious and very nice. Their mattress is to die for. Rosie was a bit shy and Rip kept his eye on us for the first two days, but then they came out to play and interact with us. They are hilarious and play with each other, too. Barbara left us really detailed instructions that made our sit easy. Their location is wonderful. You can walk 2 blocks to Multnomah Village for food and fun or you can walk to Gabriel Park which is a nice big park with trails, paths and outdoor activities. We would love to sit for them again!

Mike
We were lucky enough to spend a week in Mike’s incredible home looking after Jimmy. Jimmy was an affectionate fella who loved a head scratch! He was such a low maintenance boy as he spent most of his time outside.

Mike was super easy to communicate with and left detailed instructions regarding Jimmy and the home / appliances which we were super grateful for!

Overall, this was such an amazing sit and could not recommend highly enough.
