Sashimi is the sweetest character, loved to play and hang out with me in the room when I was around. He liked to get brief cuddles on his terms. He is smart too, and would leave the room to go nap when I would start getting ready to leave the apartment. Sashimi is also a healthy eater and is food motivated. I will miss Sashimi! Kevin is incredibly kind, super communicative, provided a great deal of detail to ensure a successful sit and went above and beyond to make sure that I was comfortable in the apartment. The apartment was centrally and conveniently located with plenty of subway options in Brooklyn. It was an absolute pleasure sitting for Sashimi and Kevin, and I would be happy to be back!
It was such a pleasure taking care of Tank and Spritz at Sara and Mitch’s beautiful home on Oahu! Tank and Spritiz are very easy going pups enjoying retirement in Hawaii. They have a simple daily routine of food in the morning and evening, and have access to the backyard via a doggie door and let themselves out when they need to use the restroom. They are used to hanging around the home during the work week which will give you flexibility to enjoy the island during the day. Both Spritz and Tank are very well behaved and friendly dogs, as retirees they enjoy sunbathing, afternoon naps, treats, pets, and routine! As far as the home goes, it is in an incredible location. Waking up ever day to watch the sunrise over picturesque Hawaiian wetlands and walking the trail through the wetlands at sunset was just one of the pros. The home is also located a quick drive to the beach, and town where you can enjoy an ice cold beer at Lanikai Brewery after a day at Lanikai Beach. A few recommendations for your time in the city: - Lanikai Pillbox sunrise hike! (Get there at least 30-45 minutes before sunrise) - Manoa Choclate Factory (chocolate tasting at its best) - Turtle Watching on Kailua Beach by the boat launch Sara and Mitch were great communicators and it was a joy to take care of their home for a week :)
Despite arriving in the middle of the night, Kelly and Jason were really kind and welcoming! Before they left, we were shown all of the important things in the home and they left plenty of written instructions as well as numbers for neighbors in case we needed anything. Their home is beautiful and in a great location- 10-15 min walk to the beach and close to public transportation. They also gave permission to use their car but we opted not to. The cats mostly kept to themselves during our visit, but the dogs are really friendly and loved to cuddle. The bed is large so the two of us plus all three dogs slept together without it being too crowded 😉 Jagger and Ziggy are on the bigger side, but there were times when I walked all three dogs on my own and didnt have a problem. It's easier with two people as the leashes dont get tangled as much and you can skip a walk if you want to, but it's certainly doable for a single, reasonably fit person. I would highly recommend sitting for this family :)
Heenali was very keen that I have a nice stay and made me feel very welcome. Before the sit, she and Joe made videos of everything I needed to know. It made things so easy. Throughout the sit, we exchanged messages with updates of our respective trips. Rumi... is a lovely, independent and regal cat. She is very easy to care for, and didn't seem to mind me being there. The weekend I was there, there were Euro 24 games on and the nearby pub was quite noisy until late at night (2am on the Saturday)... but I'm sure this was a one off. It was also unfortunate that there's no WiFi at the flat. I was able to connect my phone to Joe's phone (hot spot mobile data), but wasn't able to connect my laptop. Tiverton is a nice place for a few days... the canal walk is gorgeous as is Knightshayes house, garden and parkland. The flat is in an excellent location to explore Tiverton. I didn't need the car once I arrived as everything is in walking distance. Recommended!
Biscuit the bulldog loves being with you. You will have a small shadow following you. He is such a sweet guy. Does not like it when you stop petting him though 😁. The kitties were just super chill. They liked joining us for dinner. Shannon was a super hostess. Her home is very nice and we were very comfortable. Communication with her was excellent.

I cannot say enough great things about this pet sitter! She was reliable and thorough. We LOVE our pet sitter, Kathy! It can be so nerve wrecking to find someone you trust to come into your home and take care of your pets, and we are so thankful for her! One of our pets is prone to medical issues and has been on lots of different medications and food. Each time we have to leave them we know Kathy can handle it and follow new and specific directions. We also LOVE getting a picture of them every time she comes to visit!
We have used Distinctive pet care several times over the last few years. We have used them for many different type of visits, from brief "mid day potty breaks" for random long work days, to two week long trips for mom and dad to go to Europe where they visit three times a day. It is never easy leaving our babies behind but DPC (specifically Cheryl (retired now) and Nikki) are AMAZING. Holly at Distinctive Pet Care did a wonderful job taking care of our bunny while we were on vacation. It was comforting to know he was in such good hands and the daily reports she sent after every visit were filled with information and pictures so we always knew what was going on. I literally cannot say enough about Fran and Holly with distinctive pet care!!! I have a12 week old puppy and travel A LOT for work which would be very difficult if not for Fran and Holly. They do daily visits, overnight sitting and training. They are amazing with her and REALLY love her and care about her development and happiness.....it feels like family (only better because Fran is such a fabulous trainer) I would pay them twice as much as they charge for everything they have done for me and my sweet puppy!!!! Fetch! Pet Care Castle Rock has been a life saver for us and our three dogs! We have a diabetic dog who requires consistent meal times and insulin injections, along with other medications. Andy and his team have made sure his needs were taken xare of as well as our other two dogs. Because we have been having to travel a lot recently, we have booked their overnight services, as well as their drop-in and walking services during the day. They walk all three of her dogs (two are terrible on a leash, but Andy is a rockstar with them!), play with them, give them snacks if we requested, and make sure they have freshwater and everything they need before they leave. They are great about taking photos and sending updates every step of the way. They are also very respectful of our property and always leave everything clean, locked up, and follow any instructions that are left. It’s so important to find someone that you can trust not only with your precious pets, but with your home. It’s important to know that someone will show up when they say they will and that you can depend on them. We feel fortunate to have found Fetch! Pet Care here in Castle Rock, and recommend them to anyone who’s looking for a pet sitting or dog walking services company.
Castle Rock Fetch Pet provided wonderful care for my older dog over the last 3 years. They have excellent pet sitters that become very "in tune" with the pet. And there was minimal change in walkers. The owner, Andy, seems to be very skilled in finding good staff. The business always met my scheduling needs even at the last minute. If one of my regular sitters could not come, the owner Andy took over the visit. My dog passed away this week and Andy, Dawn, Danette and Teri could not have been more supportive. If you are looking for pet care, this business is the one to call.
We have an anxious dog who doesn’t do well when boarded. It was so hard to find reliable and professional care…until we found Fetch! We love their reliability and the app they use to report on your pet and house. We love getting the photo updates every day and being able to communicate with the pet sitters so easily. On the rare occasion that a sitter couldn’t come, the owner of the franchise came to our house, personally, to ensure our dog was visited.

The staff is always courteous and friendly, our dog walkers Dawn and Teri are caring and loving to our Maltese Zelda and the owner Andy goes above and beyond in accommodating any concerns or issues that we may have. We were extremely happy with Fetch Pet Care, Andy and his staff. We hired Fetch to take care of our two dogs a few times so far this summer. Each time our expectations have been completely exceeded, not only were our dogs treated like royalty, we received regular updates, journals and pictures but Fetch did extra things like bringing in our mail, unpacking perishable packages, scooping poop and they were respectful of our home. Andy was very friendly engaging and reliable, his staff member assigned to us reflected the same values and was a delight to communicate with. We are thrilled to have them to call upon and most importantly our dogs loved them! We HIGHLY recommend them!
We will always call Fetch and specifically Sadie to watch our dog while we are away. She is by far the best dog sitter we could ask for.
Dawn was fabulous! She watched our 12 year old Lab and our daughter’s 10 month old Great Dane puppy while we had a party in our house. She kept them entertained and quiet. She had a great rapport with both of the dogs. I would highly recommend Fetch Pet Care for pet sitting!

I am writing this review while I'm out of town and it is my baby's first stay with Lynns Loving Pet Care. First of all, Lynn and her closest ones have been taking great care of my baby Biscuit. She sends video/text updates very frequently and makes sure that I am enjoying my vacation while she is taking care of my baby. Biscuit is a tiny 5lbs dog with very sensitive stomach. Any little thing can affect his stomach like mommy being away, new home environment and other many things. I brought up my concern when I dropped Biscuit off and as I expected, he started vomiting blood in couple days of myself being away. Lynn handled the situation VERY professionally. She gave me a call right away, noted me with the incident, asked me about medication dosage for treatment and kept him on a bland diet until he felt better. Biscuit was able to recover without any issues in a day. I now trust Lynn with my baby 200%. She will be my go-to boarding for Biscuit if I need to travel out of town. We boarded our 11 year old dog Bear with Lynn’s Loving Pet Care. He could not have had better care. He has many health issues and was taken care of so well. Lynn kept us updated about him and sent videos and pictures of him enjoying himself. There are no cages involved and he enjoyed lying on the couches and bed. Lynn deserves more than a 5 star rating. We will be happy to board Bear with Lynn again.
Lynn’s Loving Pet Care is the absolute best. I originally stumbled across her website when my planned pet sitter had to cancel at the last minute. Trusting your fur babies to strangers can be incredibly stressful. But Lynn immediately relieved that stress. You quickly realize that your babies become her babies. I won’t leave our fur baby anywhere else. It is truly her home away from home.
I recently used Lynn for the first time, for my two Yorkies. I was gone for a week, which is a long time for a first time stay. But the energy I got from her on the meet and greet was amazing. Lynn and her family were awesome! I had no doubt that my babies were VERY well cared for. She was communicative, sent daily pictures and videos, and was extremely understanding about a super late pick up time. I highly recommend Lynn for any pet sitting needs. I'm so glad I finally found someone I can truly trust!
Lynn came to our rescue a few months ago when our dog sitter canceled on us. And we were in need of someone we can trust with our girls. She did not disappoint. She is an amazing dog sitter! The girls absolutely love her and Scott! They enjoy their time with her and the other fur babies. She sends us pictures and videos so we know how the girls are doing pretty much the whole time they are with her. She is very informative and very serious about taking good care of your dog or dogs. Look how peaceful they are when they are there. I highly recommend her!
UPDATED REVIEW AUGUST 2024: I unfortunately can no longer recommend this boarding facility. Today we picked up our cats Rosco and Keanu from a 10 day stay (8/15/2024-8/23/2024), this is their 4th stay in 2 years with Tails Up. We texted to check in on them everyday and were told they were great. When we picked them up today though, it was clear they have been having diarrhea, with Rosco having lots of poo matted in his fur. They never let us know they were showing signs of illness, even with our daily check ins. They said nothing at pick up. Additionally, when picking up they informed me I could not go into the cat room to get them but had to wait and have them do it due to "the room being under construction" - that was a first but okay. They come out with my cats in their carrier and a bag with two of my cats toys and another animals medication, handing it to me saying this was theirs. I notified them it wasn't and instructed them we were missing a bag of many toys, a wand, blankets, etc. and their medication and treats. She came back with just the medication, told me I was good to go. Again asked about the bag of toys and blankets. Went back and brought just the bag of toys, said I was good to go. This went on for a total of 5-6 trips to bring us the rest of our stuff. She ended up still missing some wipes and our food scoop, but we didn't realize till we got home. The blanket we left in Rosco's crate also was in the laundry for some reason, they have never washed their bedding before which also tells me he must have had diarrhea bad enough to have to clean his bedding. We are very unsure if another animal's medication was administered to our cats based on this interaction, the diarrhea, and them acting very oddly since being home. Keanu keeps waking up in a panic from his naps like he is having bad dreams. It genuinely seems like they were not taken well care of while there. We are afraid they were administered medication that wasn't theirs and they could be sick from it. And they seem skittish and afraid. I do not know what the people at Tails Up did to them this time for them to react this way. They have been boarded for more than 10 days each time, and never come home like this. I texted their number right when we noticed they had diarrhea caked in their fur to ask if they had been sick, why we hadn't been notified if they had, and whether they had been administered another animals medication -- no response over 12 hours later. I have sent an email as well tonight, no response. Never received a "report card" either, even though their app notified me one should be available, which seems even more suspicious -- we have always received it right after check out. TLDR; I can no longer recommend this facility. They seemed to have misled me when checking in on their well being and his that they were having bad diarrhea, were completely disorganized on pick up (which is a first), lost several of our items, tried to give me another animals medication instead of their own to take home, and may have administered another animals medication to my cats. I cannot trust them to care for my cats and be conscious of their safety while boarding there, and my cats are acting traumatized now that they are home. Tails up did a great job of taking care of my cat, Charlotte for Christmas. They were quick to respond when I texted to check on her, gave her all of her meds and were willing to keep track of her litter box habits (as that was what the meds were for). She came home happy and healthy and it was a great relief to me. I will definitely be using them again the next time I need to leave town.
Tails Up is amazing and the only place I am comfortable leaving my pups. They offer enrichment sessions, training, and any extra care needed. I have two rescue dogs, each with their own set of needs, and they’ve always been well cared for and accommodated. I also love that they are staffed 24/7- that is very important to me and often not the case at boarding facilities. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone with fur babies:
Not for standard poodles. They ruined my dog’s top knot and now they both have bangs. Super nice and affordable but my groomer should have explained he can’t do a top knot. The outdoor pic was provided and the indoor pic is what I got. Standards are a hard breed to groom and I would have understood. Please be transparent about your grooming skills.
Scheduled grooming session for 8a, decided to let my dog get some play time while there, so said I would pick up at noon; confirmed when I dropped off at 8a with man at counter that dog would be getting groomed, he answered yes; returned at noon to pick up dog, he was not groomed (which was why he was there in first place); desk person still required me to pay for day care, and said I could return at 3:15p to have dog groomed; he never offered to allow dog to stay until that time; I had to leave and return; no apology provided for lack of service, misunderstanding, or inconvenience.
Ashley is the best dog groomer we have ever used! Our dog loves her. We love her. I will never take him to anyone else! She has been there for us for an “emergency” groom. Tails Up! has been a fantastic find for our family. Our dog, Jack, has been going since he was 12 weeks old. He loves the daycare! He has such a great time playing with the other dogs and he loves the staff. They always meet us as if he is their favorite pup and are friendly and so helpful in every way. He is also groomed at Tails Up! and Caeden does a wonderful job with my high energy boy who really doesn't like a bath. I can't recommend Tails Up! more enthusaistically. You won't be sorry if you decide to take advantage of all their services.
We love Tails Up! We have had great experiences with taking our mini dachshunds there for boarding. We really like being able to see the play yards on camera, it has been helpful to be able to see our pups playing, having a great time, and getting attention from staff. We also like that you can choose to have extra playtime for your pups. The activities offered are fantastic, as well as nice that you can get grooming and now training there. Every member of staff we have had contact with has been professional, friendly, and caring. We have had no hesitation leaving our fur babies here. Sadly, we are moving out of state, so we will not be back :( We are looking for a new boarding facility in Illinois but I doubt we will find one as good as Tails Up! I have no hesitation in recommending Tails Up to everyone!

We highly recommend Camp Bow Wow in Castle Rock! Our little Rivian, a one year old cream Dachshund, absolutely loves going to day camp there. He attends one to two days a week and always comes home completely exhausted from playing with his friends. It's clear he looks forward to getting out of the house and having a blast. The staff is incredibly friendly, and we love being able to check in on him through the video cams. If you're looking for a great place for your pup, Camp Bow Wow is the perfect choice!
They are always very communicative regarding reservations. If anything isn't available, they call right away to let us know so we can make other arrangements. When we do drop offs, they are always so kind and caring and very easy to work with. Also, the groomers do an amazing job of making my thick coated pup smell wonderful :-)

We’ve been taking Daisy to Camp Bow Wow for 12 years. When we were out of the country last week and our return was delayed 3 days, Daisy ran out of critical meds. Daphne, the owner, called our vet to get a refill, then drove to Monument to pick up one med and to the vet’s office to get the other. She did all this without even telling me. Wow! That is above and beyond!!
It has been a good experience for my puppy. All the dogs have been friendly to each other. Someone is with the dogs and gives them attention Play yards appear to be kept clean.
I feel my pups had a good time. I could only see one on camera but they said the small dogs had no camera which was a concern for me. They all came back super smelly with black gunk stuck all over that smells terrible and was very hard to wash off and I'm a professional dog groomer.
The dogs get a lot of time playing indoors and out and the facility is set up well to promote much playtime. Staff is very friendly and enjoy the dogs. On-site grooming is a plus.
My Dog absolutely loves this place! She's been to other Camp Bow-wows that she wasn't nearly as excited about going to. Here she pulls me through the dog like her tail's on fire! I will never go back to the one by my house where she would visibly droop down and get sad about going to. Watch your dog's body language and let them also give this place five stars!

4 Paws Sake gave us peace of mind while we were on a lengthy vacation! Our pets were happy, well fed, entertained and cared for. Our cats litterboxes and area were cleaned daily, trash was taken out each visit, cats were fed their food and treats while receiving brushings and playtime; our reptiles were fed and watered daily, as well as had their lights and heating elements checked each day, and our chinchilla received her bathing, food, water, and plenty of treats alongside interaction. We were given daily updates of each pet, along with many pictures of each of our babies, so we could enjoy our trip without any worry. They were even nice enough to let us know when our geckos food was running low, and they even made a house run to get more of their food. I highly recommend 4 Pawz Sake if you are looking for pet sitting with peace of mind! We will happily book more services in the future when we travel again!
Finding 4 Paws Sake has been such a blessing! We moved to Colorado in January and needed to find a pet sitter fairly quickly as we travel quite often. In the past, I've used 5-star boarding facilities, had someone stay in our home, and had them watched by friends. None of these was the perfect scenario, and I always stressed so much while we were away, especially when we were out of the country. I have never felt so sure that my babies are getting the best care as I do when Tammy, Lee Ann, Jacquie, and Michelle are watching them. I schedule them to come 3 times a day and request an update at each visit. They go so far above and beyond what I expected. After EVERY visit I get a photoshoot of my pugs and kitty, and the pictures are so amazing. My husband and I end up laughing out loud constantly! I've hired them for weekend trips, a full week, and twelve days this last time and everything always goes great. Tammy has also helped me out in a pinch multiple times and done last minute visits when travel plans go differently than planned. I really cannot properly put into words how thankful I am for this company and these ladies! I will never hire anyone else as long as they are willing to put up with my little monsters.
Tammy and her team are professional, caring, responsive, thorough and dependable. My two dogs received top notch care and I was able to enjoy my time away knowing they were well taken care of.
4PawzSake is incredible. I couldn't be more impressed with them. The communication with Tammy to coordinate care for our beloved black lab, Bridger, while we were out of town for 4 days, was excellent. Our trip out of state was last minute and they were able to accommodate our needs perfectly. Bridger is a VERY important part of our family, so we wanted to make sure she was taken care of by the very best. 4PawzSake went above and beyond. Jay came over three times a day to let Bridger out, feed her, and take her on a walk. It was evident by the pictures he sent us from each visit, that Bridger was not only taken care of, but she was loved on.That means so much to us. We really missed Bridger when we were gone and it really warmed our hearts to see the pictures of her getting out and having fun. 4PawzSake is the best of the best. We are grateful for their professionalism, excellence in care and communication, and love!
Our baby had such an amazing time with Tammy and Jay. She adored their pup, Charlie, who is such a luvbug and she made a bunch of new doggie friends. When I came to pick her up, she didn't want to go home. This is the first time we've been able to go away without our baby girl and not be anxious the whole time we're gone. Tammy and her team cares for Mr. Kitty many, many times while I was out of town. He was always as well or better than when I left him :) Pictures are provided during each visit and care instructions were always followed. Scheduling is also very responsive. Some of my trips were relatively short notice and I never had trouble getting care for those. I highly recommend 4 Pawz Sake and will miss them dearly since I move frequently for business. Wish I could bring them too :D
Tammy was truly amazing exceeding our expectations! She captured the most precious pictures of our fur babies and we could tell from the photos that they were very comfortable and happy with her. Our flight ended up being cancelled and we had to arrange for a flight back the next day on another airline. Tammy already had another commitment but she made sure to find time in her day to ensure our pets were taken care of. She went above and beyond what we expected and we could not be happier with her service. She is clearly an animal lover and we absolutely use her services again!

We LOVE 4 Pawz Sake and the owner, Tammy Stromberg. Tammy runs an amazing business. It is SO easy to go online and request services for specific days from a calendar on their website. I can make a quick payment with PayPal or a credit card and then I don't have to worry about Tammy showing up to take care of my dogs, its all set in advance! Also, she sends me pictures of my pups on their walks so I know she is actually there! I completely trust Tammy going in and out of my house. I HIGHLY recommend 4 Pawz Sake for your pet needs!
Mary is so amazing and I will absolutely be hiring her again! Our dog is so old and we were very worried about leaving him alone. We asked Mary to come check in on him and maybe play with him for an hour, honestly we just wanted someone to come and make sure he was okay - but she went above and beyond our expectations! We had a meet and greet where we expressed our concerns and she was so reassuring and professional which made us a lot less worried. Our dog warmed up to her very quickly and even started demanding treats from her as well! The entire hour she was here we were getting text updates and pictures from Mary which also helped us relax. Our dog was very tired the rest of the day which is his sign that he had a great time. We were all very happy!
I've used Mary's Crate Escape twice so far and would use in the future. All expectations met! A++
