I had a great sit in Henderson with Valerie's sweet Cia (and Lulu for 2 days). Cia is very well behaved and loving. She warmed up to me quickly and by the second night slept in bed with me - very respectfully giving me plenty of space, but she did want to be right next to me - so sweet! We enjoyed walking together - there is a very convenient path just two houses away. For longer solo walks I ventured to the HOA trail for fantastic views of Las Vegas. Valerie was very accommodating and was super easy to reach, even though she was out of the country. Her home is comfortable and I felt very safe in her neighborhood. I am looking forward to returning to sit for her.
OMG ! What a lovely home and awesome pet ! Loki is soooo cute and friendly. I really enjoyed hanging out with him. Marilyn is an amazing host and homeowner - she is a rare find these days - kind and caring. I found an extra measure of zen sitting on her couch at night reading, and also sitting in her backyard thinking and talking with Loki. The town of Spring Hill is quaint and friendly but I honestly spent most of my time at home with Loki. I did walk daily in the neighborhood, and to the grocery store (Publix) and the local brewery (Tidal). Thank you Marilyn and Loki.
I had a really nice time! Licia and John were very kind and responsive, everything was very clear. The dogs were adorable and love to hang around, very sociable and sweet creatures. Really beautiful home next to an amazing forest!! 5 Stars, great experience!
We loved staying at Vickie and Bruce's beautiful home outside Aguanga, California! They were wonderful to deal with and were responsive to every question we had. They made us feel comfortable and at home as soon as we arrived. Even though we didn't get to meet them in person, I felt that we created a friendship through our texts and phone calls. Their animals are so sweet! We took care of 3 of their 4 dogs: Shiela the border collie and Silly and Lily the terriers. Shiela and Lily were a little shy at first but warmed up in no time. Soon it was all snuggles and kisses. And Silly is very aptly named! She kept us in stitches with her antics. We were traveling with our 2 dogs and all the dogs got along great. We also cared for the 2 horses, Spence and Ella. Although we didn't interact with the horses as much as we interacted with the dogs, we enjoyed caring for them, feeding and watering them and mucking out the pens in the evening during colorful sunsets. Vickie and Bruce's house is quite lovely. It's open, light and bright, with amazing views of the mountains out every window. It's obvious that a lot of care and thought went into designing their home, as it's perfectly situated in the stunning landscape and is set up to feel welcoming and comfortable. We enjoyed cooking in the spacious open kitchen, and we loved our evenings snuggling on the couch with the dogs in front of the cozy fireplace. Thank you, Vickie and Bruce, for opening your home to us and entrusting your sweet animals to our care.
Beautyful Masik with his charming squint-eyes was a pleasure to take care of. A little bit sceptic the first day, but then he came on the lap and laid down beside me and wanted contact. He was not too happy to be scolded, so I focused instead on beeing his friend. Important to put a little water in his wet food many times. A clean apartment, a good bed, fridger, bathroom and everything you will need. Good location as well. Alessia was available and accomodating on WhatsApp all the time. I got videos before I started and there was yellow notes that told me where to find everything.
Thank you Joanna for sharing your beautiful home with us for 4 weeks, and letting us look after Sorcha, who we fell in love with immediately. Sorcha is the sweetest, most gentle and loving dog. She is very well behaved and affectionate, a very relaxed and easy pet to look after. She loves cuddles and walks and we loved spending time with her. Joanna was an amazing home owner, she left us a lovely welcome package including coupons and treats! It was so thoughtful and kind. Communication was easy and frequent and just a lovely friendly person. We 100% recommend this house sit, it was a pleasure to look after Sorcha and was so hard saying goodbye to her at the end of the house sit.
