I had to cancel this sit at the very last minute due to my dog injuring his leg the day before the sit, and the vet telling me on the morning of the sit that she suggested I stay home and care for him. Elaine sat for me last month and I was pleased to invite her back as she was a wonderful sitter. I also discovered that she was gracious and wonderful dealing with a last-minute cancellation. I hope to have her back for another sit in the future.
Graham is a young, happy, friendly dog with a lot of love to give. He is strong, but willing to learn and listen. He will also talk to you with grumbles and moans, but nothing mean is being said:) The home was perfectly located to visit various Denver museums and if you are careful about what time you travel, you can miss any traffic. The neighborhood is safe, a nearby coffee shop is a quick walk away. I rented a car, but there are nearby bus routes and you can reach the house via train and bus from the airport. Graham's parents are very nice and love their boy dearly. They were always available by text and responded promptly. Thank you!
Inna is a super-easy-going girl with perfect communication, hospitable, and always here to help! :) Kaya, Cooper, and Kaya, these three dogs each have unique personalities that made the stay very.. memorable. :D It was quite surprise for me because it wasn't the first plan, but then it's happened. It was my first experience with 3 dogs, and you must watch them on the walkies. The dogs were well-behaved and responsive to commands. Occasionally, Cooper's energy levels required a bit more attention, but it was nothing that a good play session couldn't handle. :) The house was comfortable and well-equipped, making it easy to settle in and take care of the dogs. The spacious backyard was perfect for the pet gang! The instructions left by the homeowners were clear and comprehensive, covering everything from feeding schedules to emergency contacts. Thanks Inna for the unique experience! :)
A great sit, highly recommend. Communication with Amanda was super easy. She was very responsive whenever I had questions. The two cats are great!!! Penelope and Fonzie are the most affectionate cats I've ever met. They love pets and cuddles and are very easy to care for. I've never cared for chickens before, so that took a little more instruction (which Amanda provided immediately, upon request), but once I got the hang of it, it wasn't hard. The house is situated in a really pretty and residential part of San Diego. The backyard is great and the room I stayed in was comfy. Thank you again, Amanda!
What an amazing housesit. Everything was absolutely brilliant - Daisy the dog, the house and Daisy’s Mummy & Daddy. Every night and day we felt like we were in a 6* hotel, our room was so lovely. Daisy was an absolute dream. So well behaved, so loving, such fun and amazing on walks. We have had the best time and wish Kirsty & Nick had been away for longer. We are driving back to London now with a heavy heart as we miss Daisy Dog so much. Thank you for being such a good girl Daisy. Hopefully your Mummy & Daddy will go away again so we can come and spend some more quality time with you. You know you’ve had a fantastic housesit when you don’t want to leave! This was honestly the best sit I’ve done to date. Patrick and his family were warm and accommodating from start to finish; offering plenty of recommendations and transport that allowed me to experience the beauty of Wicklow alongside the sweetest dogs I’ve ever met. Bingo and Indy were gentle, lovable, and well behaved (though strong willed when they want to play :) The home itself was absolutely lovely. Beautifully decorated and designed, spacious, and well located. Cannot recommend enough!
I had a great time staying at Juliana and Cooper’s home. Juliana bought snacks for me and set flowers by my bed, and was sweet and caring when I first arrived. I appreciated their down to earth vibes and immediate trust. There are wild native plants all over the front and back yard, a relaxing back porch in a quite neighborhood, and it was an easy 20min drive to get downtown. The chickens were fun to feed and watch, especially their Silkies! Lol. Hopkins is the chillest cat that basically does his own thing all day. But the star of the show was Primerose! She is such a sweet girl and loves to sleep at your feet, she behaves so well, is low maintenance, and just the best. They are definitely worth sitting for!
