David was outstanding! We feel so lucky to have had him take care of our home during very difficult conditions (sustained torrential rains). He went above and beyond expectations. Our (new) roof started to leak during the recent deluge, and David climbed up and implemented a temporary fix until our roofer could address the problem in a more permanent way several days later. He also designed and dug a channel for excess water to drain from our pond during this time when we experienced an unprecedented 10.5 inches of rain. David handled the floods much better than we could have, had we been home. We are so grateful! David also took our dogs for plenty of walks, and trained Stanley to run along side hime when he went on long runs. Muffin got plenty of cuddles and attention to keep her happy. We returned home to a clean and tidy home and happy pets. David also offered to bring us to the airport and pick us up. We would love to have David sit for us again any time - he is the best!

This was a really enjoyable stay - Kathleen is a kind and gracious host, and her home is comfortable and filled with art and little treasures. Romeo and Callie are wonderful characters. We really enjoyed getting shown around Queen Anne's residential streets and community garden by Romeo, and Callie is a very sweet and gentle old soul. If Callie is included in the sit, I would make sure you feel comfortable administering pills to cats or have some experience here. We watched a couple youtube videos but it only really clicked once Kathleen's neighbor showed us, and even then it still took a few tries to get it right (and she requires a pill daily). Callie is very gentle though! She doesn't claw or bite at all and so there was never any fear or concern there, just a bit of persistence and determination for someone who didn't have experience here. Kathleen was also helpful in coordinating a neighbor to come and demonstrate it for us too, so we really appreciated that.

Ten stars wouldn’t be enough to measure my time with Floof and Endeis! These two captured my heart. ❤️ ❤️
They are sweet, cuddly, quiet, easy and of-course gorgeous! My communication with Julie flowed with ease , instructions were clear and her home is very cozy and walkable to all you would need in West Asheville. I hope to be fortunate to sit for them again !! My heart is full, Thank you.

This was a wonderful housesit. Stephen and I had a great time at this Wasa Beach location caring for doggies Daisy and Agnes, two cats including Coco, hens, and a rooster. A beautiful house on the lake at the foot of the Rockies. Daisy and Agnes went for two walks daily and loved to play ball with each other (so cute). The cats are affectionate and one of them would come along for a walk. Nearby Kimberley is an interesting town to visit, for biking, hiking and other activities. Hosts were flexible, friendly, and hospitable. Highly recommend.

I had a wonderful stay with Duman and Sharpie in Istanbul! They are such affectionate cats but also independent and easy going! It really was a pleasure to spend time with them. Leyla’s apartment is very comfortable and bright with a beautiful view! Leyla was very warm and welcoming and informed me of everything I needed to know. I would absolutely recommend this sit, and hopefully will get a chance to look after Duman and Sharpie again. Thank you for having me and all the best!

Gudrun
I stayed for 7 weeks at Gudrun’s home with her loved once. Gudrun luckily picked me up 20km before Kritsa due to the fact I was travelling by bike on a rainy day. She cooked a delicious dinner and explained me everything clear about the house and the pets. She even took me out for a traditional folk dance class in the evening. Thank you so much for that. Lykke is a very well behaved girl which loves to play and to cuddle. We went together for long walks in the olive fields and played chase the stick. Around the house she was always calm and easy going. I really enjoyed beeing waken up from her with a friedly pet on me. Belinda is very independent and loved to go outside to explore. She is always in time for breakfast and loves to cuddle. Pooh is one of a kind, he loves to talk and he loves bellly scubs holing him like a baby. The village has everything you need to live here. I was usually cycling to Agios nikolaus for a big supermarket. The landscape and the scenery is absolutely stunning. Thank you Gudrun for giving me this opportunity. I wish you all the best. I would definitely come back and I recommend to sit the house and the pets.
