I took care of Annie, Macy, Sissy and Mabel for Jay and Fiona while they were away for a few days. This is my first sit with TH and it went really well. Jay and Fiona have a beautiful well-appointed home with a fenced backyard so the pups can safely play. Fiona was very responsive at answering questions and they both had certainly worked hard to make sure I was comfortable and prepared with plenty of tips about the animals and the surroundings. Annie is a sweet senior pup taking it slow, and Macy is a very bright adolescent who loves to play. They loved the village park and enjoyed the dog park that was further away. Annie has some vision loss due to cataracts but responds very well to verbal feedback. She can navigate around without any trouble and is a dream to walk. Sissy and Mabel are always up for cuddles and pets and are happy to chat. No issues with housetraining with anyone, they all did great. I was able to sleep through the night as well. The dogs are a delight and easy to walk twice a day, Macy really enjoyed a bonus solo fast walk in the evening. The home is a 5 minute walk to the grocery store, pharmacy and bakery in Madoc and a few minutes’ drive to Hwy 7. I was able to work remotely with the wifi handling videos well. No issues with going away for a few hours for sightseeing and shopping, although the pups were overjoyed when I came home! I really enjoyed this sit and would recommend it for anyone wishing to spend time in a lovely multi-pet home.
We had a great stay at Rachel's home. Barrington and Kitty Kitty were very easy to take care. Rachel is a lovely and very generous person. She welcomed us with gifts. She was very reactive each time we needed. Her house and garden are truly magnificent. It was a great experience that we would love to repeat. Thank you very much Rachel for trusting us 😊 Hope to see you soon 🤗💕
I loved my sit for Sergio and Charlotte in beautiful and peaceful Niwot. Orin was a friendly and communicative host and his home was a well-located and clean. Sergio and Charlotte are both sweet and sociable cats and I had no trouble taking care of them in the week I was there. For anyone looking for a peaceful escape with two lovable cats and easy trails practically out your front door, I would recommend this sit :)
We had such a great pet/house sit at Linda's house. We loved going out to feed the horses each day, walking Mina and playing with the cats. We wished we lived closer so we could sit them more often.
Sassy is quite a character! I really enjoyed the experience and opportunity to care for her. I was a bit intimidated but we connected enough that I felt comfortable taking her into the kitchen where we sang and danced and she especially loved Adele! ? At one point, when all was quiet, she did the throat noise the girl from the movie the Ring did and scared the living daylights out of me at first then I laughed so hard I almost cried. Lisa had all of her food prepped for the week which made it super easy. She had arranged for a friend to come and get Sassy on Tuesday so we only had 4 days together but it was fun and I'd definitely do it again. There are hanging baskets to water as well as a few containers, beds and a greenhouse which for the most part are on a drip system that just require you to hook the hose to. The home is a comfortable, country home with the master bedroom and bath being the sitters quarters. Sassy's room is connected to the sitting/office area in the master. There is a back porch with an outdoor heater and a lovely sitting area near the flowers with a propane fire pit. Deer meander through the secluded yard that is surrounded by woods and while it's not far back from the road, the driveway is offset making it completely private. There is also a gate that could be closed if desired. I felt completely safe the entire sit. The home is less than one mile from one of the best beaches on the coast! Great sand, no drop off and never more than a handful of people, if any at all! The creek has some really great stones for collectors! It's a 12 minute drive to downtown Bandon which is one of the sweetest little coastal towns to walk. The wharf is lovely with wood carvings, there's fresh seafood, plenty of restaurants to choose from, fresh homemade fudge and a lovely indoor Farmers market that had the most incredible young lady singing. Best fancy restaurant, Lord Bennets! Best local secret, tacos at Wilson's family Market on June street, must try! There were a couple of bumps at the beginning with their departure and some details that were left out about the workings of the home, but Lisa was quick to respond and all was well in the end. They are new to having housesitters, but completely open to suggestions on how to create a great sit for all. I would do this sit again if our schedules aligned.
Great opportunity to take care of Sansa, Oscar and Brie. Couldn’t have had better cuddlers. Access to the gym and pool are such nice perks. Brie could have played with the ball for hours but didn’t mind settling down for a nap on the couch when asked. Appreciate the opportunity to take care of such loving pets.
