Caryl
I've house sitted at Caryl's place for about two months and it's been a great and unforgettable experience. The four dogs have all their unique and amazing personalities, communication with Caryl is always fluent and I've felt at home from the beginning. I would love to take care of the dogs again and enjoy the walks with them at the parks and beach. Great experience, highly recommended ! 💯

It was a pleasure to hang out with Jack & Jesse and the fish for Sarah & Glenn. Both cats were not a problem, and let me know when they wanted some attention or a top up of food, and the fish pond was easy to care for.

Their home is in a peaceful location which was not an issue. I was without a car, but groceries were a 10 minute walk, with another store 20 minutes. The train station was a 15 minute walk and provided access to many places to visit. Even the train strike did not cause any problems as there was a bus as a backup.

Their home was clean, comfortable and well-equipped with a fantastic garden! Sarah provided a very comprehensive Welcome Guide for easy reminders.

From first contact to saying goodbye, all went smoothly. I am happy to recommend this cat/fish/house sit and hope to return some time in the future.

Thank you Sarah & Glenn for the opportunity!

Sitting for Sophie was nothing short of perfection. The apartment was in a great location in a safe neighborhood with easy transportation to the city center. The apartment is perfect for a solo traveler.

Pau is an absolute sweetheart. By the end of the trip, he was cuddling up in my laptop while I was reading on the balcony every day. He was incredibly easy to take care of, which is always a plus when cat sitting :)

This was my first solo trip and it could have not gone better thanks to this lovely apartment, Sophie’s kindness, and Pau’s cuteness. ❤️

Beverly
This has been a little slice of heaven! If Beverly invites you to sit for Jagger, consider yourselves lucky and say yes…You’ll just have to get past us first.

We were in the San Antonio area prior to Beverly’s departure, so we were able to come for a visit, have a tour of her lovely, spotless (!) home, and meet Jagger and learn about his routine. Beverly was so welcoming and very organized, every detail planned and documented. Her gorgeous new kitchen has some wonderful features, so it was handy to have her show us the ropes. The entire home is spacious, beautifully decorated, and capped by a lovely patio and garden- great bird and butterfly sighting…the neighborhood is safe and quiet, but very close to downtown and lots of lovely little Texas towns and hill country vineyards for short day trips.

Oh, Jagger, where do we begin? Jagger is a majestic old soul. He took to us instantly, and it was a major three way love fest. Jagger has an easy, but very specific routine. And he knows every moment of it…he will seek you out if it’s time to go out, or eat, or take a walk, His appetite was excellent during our stay, but Beverly made all sorts of healthy, scrumptious “inducements” that are frozen and can be easily added to his regular kibble and supplements if he’s acting disinterested. He takes a few prescription medications — which is a major highlight (as he loves that they’re buried in liverwurst) — it’s really darling watching him lick the spoon…mobility is an issue, so we planned lots of extra time to get outside to the garden or take a very slow walk in the neighborhood. He needs to be encouraged to take a nice slow wander in the coolest part of the day. Mostly, he’s just a big, sweet, eager, goofy puppy trapped in an older dog’s body. He loves to be brushed gently and slowly (his tail and paws pick up every stray leaf, lol; and he likes a bit of a bedtime story after his last potty break. He was very content to be with us in the garden for long lazy days…this sit is better for a couple or sitter who looks forward to quiet days at home. Jagger can be left for a few hours at a time, but he is elderly and needs more frequent bathroom breaks. We honestly never wanted to leave him and miss him already!

Beverly, thanks for a wonderful visit…we were so fortunate that we had a few extra bonus days with Jagger as well. We’d love to be asked back to cherish Jagger anytime!

Dino and Lola both have lovely natures, which contributes to them being really easy to walk. Almost as relevant is how lovely the area — and property — is. I’m not sure I’ve ever done a housesit that made for such a great location to walk dogs — regardless of the time of day — and Ari and Phil’s communication made everything very straightforward.
