Angela was wonderful!
Normally we would want to select a zeewoi with more experience but we regard teachers as among the most reliable people there are, so we decided to have a call with Angela to see whether she would be a good fit. And Indeed She Was.
She was so easy to work with … volunteered to come to DC the afternoon before the sit started to get the lay of the land --- the home, our neighborhood, and of course our precious dog Blintz. Blintz immediately took to Angela and started bringing out all her toys to show to her new friend. Angela asked all the right questions but was very easy to review our requirements and hints.
Angela kept in touch during our time in Central America and everything went perfectly smooth. The house was definitely neater than we left it and she left us a beautiful thank you note and gift!
If Angela applies for a sit at your home put her on your acceptance list --- you will be happy you did.

Mary
What an amazing sit this was at Mary's and her family's farm. We absolutely adored Loot
and Nettles their pet labradors. Mary and her family were so welcoming when we arrived. We felt very much at home and very relaxed from the beginning. The farm is an amazing place to stay at. It has lots of space and is so quiet, so different to London where we come from. Nettles and Loot are the most beautiful dogs we've ever sat for. They are so loving and affectionate. They have good recall and will walk long and short distances. They are great company to be with and are very funny. One of their little quirks is, after they've eaten their food they will continue to keep their bowls in their mouths running around wagging their tails asking for more food 😆 it's like a scene from Dickens Oliver Twist and it had us in stitches. Another funny little quirk is that Loot will pick up shoes and hide them, so we had to make sure our shoes were out of reach so she couldn't find them. This also made us laugh especially when we found where she'd hidden the shoes 😆
Both dogs are so affectionate and loving they will curl up on the sofa with you all night long if you let them. They took to us straight away and were very friendly. We took them on long walks and shorter walks and they also came for a ride in the car whereby we went into town. Whilst there they were super and displayed very good behaviour. We took them into a local pub and they were fussed over by a few local people who stroke them... The owners of the small pub adored them and gave them a few dog biscuits. They are very special. We loved having the space on the farm to ourselves and at times we didn't venture off the farm at all except to go for local walks. Our time revolved around the farm because on this occasion we wanted a retreat and that's exactly what we found with the addition of two beautiful Labradors, their loving, peaceful nature and the lovely family. It was in all honesty the best sit I've ever experienced so far and I would highly recommend it. If we get the opportunity to sit for Mary and her family again and to see Loot and Nettles I would be honored.

Thank you Mary and family for everything. We hope to see you all again someday 🌹 🌹
kind regards 🕊️

Ellen
The sun really came out in my life at Ellen and Dave's succulent-hummingbird-flowerpower home in Tally...a thousand gratias to the unmatched attitude and atmosphere of these pure graced souls that put so much Tender Loving Kindness into their dwelling, pets, every little thing. I felt like a rockstar rather than a dusty gypsy after they pulled up right in front of my arriving bus (after they patiently waited around an hour for my big wheels to get into town.). Then we enjoyed a wonderful supper outdoors where I loved hearing about some of their epic travels and iconic endeavors before they hit the road. They shared highlights with me of their eclipse journey while my updates and pictures of their divine cats could do no justice to their all-loveshining presence. These gorgeous gentle affectionate Siamese became my best friends and trusted advisors filling my days with Thai biscuit massages and sweet songs in the evening.

Richard
I thoroughly enjoyed taking care of Pierre for Richard and Kathleen. They very kindly picked me up from the airport and welcomed me into their lovely apartment which is situated on a beautiful compound, close to the beach, supermarket and local transport options.
Pierre was a lovable character, easy to take care of and like most cats got to know me on his terms. We were firm friend's by the time I left.
I would certainly wish to return if required in the future.

Myra's house was clean when I got there. It is not far from the grocery store, Fred Meyer. There are many restaurants near her house. Her cat is friendly.

Sandy and Charlie
Sandy opened the door, and there was Charlotte, and Charlotte opened the door to our hearts. First impressions: the beauty of her coat, the gentleness in her eyes, and the affection she shows even to strangers. She's the color of vanilla-caramel swirl ice cream, and just as sweet.

Charlotte is remarkably agile for her age. She bounds up the stairs at speed, and is always game for a walk and playtime with her favorite toy Mr. Moose.

The neighborhood is lovely, with MBTA options in close proximity, restaurants, and a corner market a few yards down the block.

Sandy and Charlie were gracious hosts, their home is beautiful, and we felt privileged to care for their home and Charlotte. It was a wonderful sit, and if you're invited, run don't walk, it's a five-star experience.

Gavin
We recently completed a house and pet sit for Gavin and Amy and it was an excellent experience. The home was comfortable and well-equipped, making our stay very pleasant. The instructions provided were clear, ensuring we could take care of the house and pets with ease. The pets, Posey and Freddy, were a joy to look after and quickly became our companions. Posey was friendly, well-trained, and full of energy. Freddy was affectionate, playful, and had a charming personality. Amy recommended that we explore the Forest Lake Markets, which we enjoyed. It was a delightful experience, and we would happily sit for Gavin and Amy again in the future. Highly recommended!
