What a privilege it was to spend the weekend with Mishmish - he's an adorable, affectionate little angel. I already miss waking up to the sun pouring into the guest room (cuddled up with Mish, of course) and going to Bernal Heights Park to take in the gorgeous panoramic views together. Josh and Renen have a stunningly beautiful home in a charming area - I treasured my time there, and hope you get to as well.
Fantastic experience! David and Dalma are excellent hosts. From the very beginning, they were very clear and left us a guide with everything we needed to be comfortable in the house. Kish and Luci are truly friendly and lovely. Taking care of them was very simple, and we enjoyed it a lot. The house is in a green paradise, very comfortable, and well-connected for visiting Woy Woy. We would do it again without a doubt!!
This oh-so-charming home is nestled back with the most beautiful landscaping, a Koi pond and patio seating. The inside is decorated with their travel treasures filled with masks and tons of color. I spent days on my laptop in a room with huge windows overlooking the lush yard.  Felt like I was outside even though inside. I easily bonded with Atticus and Pyewacket (who acts like a dog). Atticus likes to  burrow in blankets and Pyewacket will just stare you down.  I was happy to have kitty cat on my lap most days and Pyewacket by my side.  The owners were wonderful and communicated clearly with a list to reflect upon, and always replied when I reached out.  The location is ideal if you’re visiting and very safe.  I highly recommend this house sit!
Deanna was super welcoming to their beautiful home and this was a great sit. We stayed in the guest house which was very comfortable, and we enjoyed the game room next door. Remy and Rocky were super sweet and my kids loved playing with them and throwing the frisbee for Remy. Care of the pets was easy and straight forward, and the dog bath, invisible fence, and automatic litter were a great bonus. We would gladly sit for Them again.
We had a lovely week looking after Baxter and Bonnie in Melanie's beautiful cottage. Melanie is so kind and made us feel at home right away. Baxter and Bonnie are gorgeous dogs who loved cuddles, sitting by us when we were working and were very well behaved on walks. Baxter is such a gentle soul at home, but had quite a high prey drive apparently so we kept him on the lead on walks, but he was more than happy with that. Bonnie was equally happy on the lead, but able to be let off in the playing fields where she didn't stray too far from us. Melanie's home was a great place to work, with lots of natural light in the kitchen/dining room, a garden full of flowers and even a summer house! This was such a highlight and made our stay feel extra special. Our bedroom was a really relaxing environment, nicely decorated and spacious with an ensuite. Overall, we'd really recommend Melanie's sit if you'd like to spend some time in a quiet village with really friendly dogs.
I stayed with Sophie and Sammy for a couple of days and it was such an awesome housesit for so many reasons. First of all the pups were so sweet. I had no issues with Sammy at all, in fact he was quite a little cuddlebug who snuggled up and adorably begged for belly rubs. Sophie, oh my, she was just the absolute sweetest dog. She has such a spunk for life even in her older age. She loved her toys and often barked for attention or to play tug of war. They were my little shadows when I was there. EmilyAnne made me feel so welcomed and her her house is absolutely lovely and so comfortable. The location is perfect in Central Austin and all in all I would 100p do it all again!
