Although it was a relatively short sit, Sara and Michael gave us peace of mind and we enjoyed our time away from home thoroughly. Zoey made an instant attachment to Sara and Michael. It was very clear that she had been well loved and cared for in our absence. Our house was spotless and we could tell they took great care to return the place to us in perfect shape. Erum was a fantastic sitter to my dog, Griz! I’m always worried when I leave him, but Erum put me at ease. She asked great questions during our initial visit, which showed her thoughtfulness and professionalism. Erum sent lots of photos, and gave me updates throughout the weekend. It was clear Griz was very comfortable during the stay! She also took care to leave the house clean, even washing the bedding. We recommend Erum for all house sitting needs, and would be happy to invite her back.

Joyce & Justin

We could not have asked for better housesitters than Joyce and Justin. Our dog was recovering from surgery which necessitated them to closely monitor his condition and take him to the vet twice during our five-day absence for non-emergency care. Joyce and Justin also provided us with regular updates including heartwarming photos of them with our dog. We enjoyed getting to know Joyce and Justin over a meal on their first night, and we left the next day feeling very confident in their abilities. Upon our return the house was clean and well taken care of as was the dog. We can highly recommend Joyce and Justin and would gladly use them again.

Lillian was absolutely amazing! She worked with me and had clear communication (and sent amazing photos of my cats) throughout my absence. My animals loved her and when I came home they were well taken care of and clean/groomed. Also when I came home she had cleaned the place, even more so than how I had left it. I highly recommend her for anyone considering getting a house and pet sitter.

Karen was so great to have at our home to be with our dog Eddie while we were away. When we got home Eddie was as happy as could be and my house was spotless!! She was a great sitter and I would have her come anytime to watch Eddie. She communicated before and after she was here. We could not communicate with her while we were away (bad service), but she had a friends contact information and let my friend know what was going on. I highly recommend Karen as a sitter!!!

Lisa is warm and engaging, and highly professional with an attention to detail that helped her navigate the nuances of our household, neighborhood, and local region. Yanni was an excellent pet sitter and I couldn't be happier with her care of my cat and my home - in fact, he may be a bit spoiled now by all of the attention he received. She was very organized and had clearly read my welcome pack in detail before arriving . She arrived the night before the sit to meet Kenji and learn how things work, and I could tell as soon as she met him that Kenji would be very happy with her! She was very understanding and helpful with my very early start the next day. Yanni sent texts and photos so I could see how he was doing. I came home to a very happy kitty and a spotlessly clean home - she washed all of the linens (even some she didn't need to) and even put clean sheets on the bed for me. I highly recommend Yanni as a pet sitter, and I would be very happy to have her stay with Kenji again.

Danny and Jo stayed at our home and looked after our cat Freckle. While we had never had a couple before we could not have been happier with them. They were very sensitive to the fact that my wife Judy misses Freckle very much when we travel, and they sent frequent photos and updates about him, which is always comforting. When we returned, Danny and Jo had waited until we arrived before departing, and we enjoyed visiting with them and getting details about their stay. The home was as clean and tidy as we could have wished for. 
We would definitely welcome them back in the future.

We had an all around wonderful experience at Lucinda’s. Lucinda was a very welcoming host and made us feel very comfortable in her home. The house was very clean and comfortable with the most spectacular views over the black down hills. We had a lovely time getting to know Twiggy and Pluto who really made the sit special for us. They are a cuddly and hilarious duo and we definitely sit for Lucinda again given the opportunity!

Otis, the 17-year-old wonder! This little dachshund has boundless energy and curiosity for a dog his age. He's an absolute joy to be around. Caring for him was a pure delight.

The charming old farmhouse provided the perfect backdrop for this wonderful experience. Paige and Deedee are exceptional hosts – incredibly generous, friendly, and always quick to respond. Their communication was top-notch.

The location is ideal for anyone looking to escape the city and immerse themselves in the Vermont countryside. It's a peaceful retreat that's also perfect for remote work. I can't recommend this housesit enough!
