Charis is a considerate, helpful and generous host. (She parked her car in the condo lot so I could have her carport spot - in Midwest winter. Thank you so much, Charis.) The vacation condo has a delightful 3 season porch overlooking the lake with breathtaking views of sunrises. What a way to start a morning with a cuppa. The kids are easy-care free feeders and are up for a short walk whenever you are and Snickers will be your shadow helper with whatever you are doing around the house.
Jon and I house-sat for Lisa in Albuquerque for about 3 weeks. Her home is very comfortable and in an extremely safe and welcoming neighborhood. Hey backyard is an oasis full of greenery, flowers and shade! It was such a peaceful ritual to let the chickens out and water the plants every day. The highlight of our house-sit was definitely being with Ori and Gemma who were both such sweet dogs and loved going to the park and taking walks! We would definitely house-sit for Lisa again!!
Linda was very welcoming, providing lunch and dinner for us the day before she left as well as showing us around and going through the daily routine for her pets. Basil and Gus, her cats were very easy and pretty self sufficient as they come and go as they please through the cat flap. Finn, the labrador, is probably the most affectionate dog we have ever met and loved curling up on the sofa next to us...we were quite sad when we left him at the end of the housesit. The house has lots of space, underfloor heating and a very comfortable super king bed in the large guest suite. Walking the dog was easy as the house is set in 22 acres which includes an old canal and woodland. We would not hesitate to recommend this to other sitters who wish to spend time in the picturesque Cotswolds.
A very lovely sit in Stratford with Scooby the friendly cat that loves biscuits, garden play and squeaking. Very kind hosts who remained in good contact via WhatsApp whilst they were abroad and a nice, clean home. Stratford is also a beautiful town with pleasant locals.
Lily was a wonderful host, very accommodating with house rules, and the use of her car. The house is in a perfect setting, close to San Diego, natural beauty, and restaurants. Taking care of her dogs was a pleasure! Chester is the protective “big brother”, always on the lookout for any invaders, foreign or domestic! George is the enthusiastic, playful, “little brother”, always looking to engage us or Chester in affection and playtime. They were great companions, whether we were out hiking with George, or snuggling on the outside swing. Winter played havoc with travel plans, but great communication with Lily allowed all of us to remain flexible…all in all…a great sit!!
Abby is a thoughtful and organized host. The cats are adorable and sweet. San Jose downtown is close by with shopping and beautiful Christmas lights!
