It was such a wonderful opportunity to sit for Jill! She has the BEST cats in the whole world!! Seriously, the best! Ripley and Rex will steal your heart! I am a California gal but it was my first time exploring Cardiff just south of Encinitas. This charming little town has a lot to explore! Excellent beaches, Lagoons, hiking and restaurants! This sit can’t be probably reviewed because it’s more then a 5 stars! I hope to sit for Jill again! Thanks Jill!
We enjoyed our stay very much, and so did our kids. Nicole and Rob gave us several great tips on where to go. They and their family were very friendly and supportive. We hope to return their hospitality someday. The dogs and cats were wonderful too.
We had a wonderful couple of weeks with Sid and Belle in Chippenham. Their happy natures and ball obsessed antics (especially Belle's bellyflops into the river) kept us amused and they were thoroughly a delight to care for. Both very well behaved and adorable dogs. and Rex the cat was the biggest cutie ever with all his loving head-butts. The house is gorgeous with the river right at the bottom of the garden and an amazing bathroom! The whole family were very welcoming. A great pet sitting adventure.
I had a wonderful time housesitting for Suzanne and Mark! They are generous, kind and understanding hosts. We traversed a few unexpected issues with ease and they never made me feel I was to blame. Communication was excellent throughout the 5 weeks and I loved hearing about their travel adventures. Their detailed home guide was very helpful, and any questions that I had were answered quickly and thoroughly. Their home is amazing!... beautiful, clean, comfortable, and situated within walking distance to the gorgeous trails of Mt. Diablo. It was a lovely retreat! Their kitchen is my absolute dream layout and I enjoyed every minute cooking it! And the kitties are just the sweetest companions and low maintenance. They all have distinct personalities and really love each other! I loved watching them go from play, to play fighting, to snuggling together throughout the day. We had fun playing with their toys, and cleaning turned into a game while they chased the duster! I highly recommend sitting for Suzanne and Mark and would happily do it again!
Ilona’s house is absolutely lovely and Tara is the sweetest dog. She’s happy to curl up next to you on the sofa and enjoys a occasionally carrot or two. Brill is a lovely area with amazing views which you can see from the house and on some great walks. It also has some lovely pubs really close to the house. Ilona has created the warmest, cosiest house with beautiful decor. There’s plenty of great places to sit and read or watch a movie and there is also a great stove if you fancy watching a fire! I highly recommend this sit if you fancy a break in the countryside and Ilona and Miles are lovely and easy to get hold of if you need anything. I’d be happy to sit again anytime!
Sebastian is hilarious - definitely a lurker at first, but after a few days he got very friendly and was following me around most places and asking for pets or simply using my legs to pet himself. He LOVED the paper bags from my groceries and made himself a paper bag throne in each room. Ari is great, house is super cute and a very simple, clean and open energy (great backyard too!). Traffic was a bit loud on the street with the windows open, but I’m also quite sensitive to sound. All in all an awesome sit and I would love to return in the future!
