A lovely housesit , Tor left us very clear detailed instruction for both the dogs and the cattle as we arrived after they had left , everything was straight forward and the highland cows were just gorgeous . Tor and Patrick’s home is very comfortable with splendid views and both little Tess and Fife are very easy going dogs that don’t pull on the lead in the slightest . This was a very short 2 day sit and we would have been happy to stay longer .
I absolutely enjoyed looking after Lady and Anni. I met them the day before during handover and they both seemed to warm up to me quickly. Lady loved to snuggle and play with me, often choosing toys to bring to engage with me. Anni was quite most of the day after feeding but came out at night for snuggles and cuddles. These two are a great pair to care for. During the handover, Lexus was welcoming and she went over everything well. The location was calm and conveniently located for the beach, shopping, entertainment, groceries and dining. I enjoyed my time here.
Pippa and John are very warm, welcoming, generous hosts who ensured our stay was the best experience it could be. Their home is beautifully appointed and in a delightful setting. Our walks around the farm offered varied terrain, magnificent views and a most idyllic lake created by John from marsh land many years ago and now hosting a plethora of bird and insect life. The dogs, Percy and Salsa, are a delight to look after. They are super affectionate, very well behaved and no trouble whatsoever. Percy is a hound so needs to be kept on the lead but even in full nose-down-baying-like-a-seal mode he does not pull too hard on the lead. Salsa is like a shadow off the lead until she spots the potato field where she likes to find just the right one to carry round with her. This was a perfect first house sit for us and we are missing the pups already. We could not have asked for better.
Nicole was very kind and has a wonderfully relaxing house to stay in. Cider and Ollie were great. Charlie was a cat, was seen when wanted something. Would gladly sit for Nicole again
Lucy and Alex were such a wonderful hosts who made us feel so welcome. Their home is amazing and it was such an enjoyable stay. Evie is honestly the sweetest dog! She is so friendly and well behaved, and was such good company. Couldn’t recommend this sit more, thankyou!
Kelly and her husband are very welcoming, and her dogs, Bella and Kira, are very laid back. The dogs were very sweet and low maintenance. We spent several days hiking and just hanging out with a spectacular mountain view. Kelly showed me everything around the home that I needed to know, and her response time was quick when I had questions. I would highly recommend Kelly and I would definitely sit for her again!
