Amanda was very adaptable to a change of plans. I delayed my trip due to Banshee’s broken leg, and she stayed in a house next door until I left. She was cheerful despite Banger having a stressful episode one night. Left the place clean and nice to come home to. She’s welcome any time.
It was delightful to care for Ruby! She is truly lovely, and I already miss her sweet meows and affectionate requests for more attention. She adores receiving cuddles. It was also easy to administer her medications. The house was very comfortable, and I had an excellent internet connection, allowing me to work without any issues. Despite the consistent rain during the 12 days of my stay, I thoroughly enjoyed starting my Trusted House Sitters journey with Ruby in this charming village in North England! 😊
We had a fantastic time getting to know Storm and Smudge in a beautiful rural area. Storm is playful, obedient, and loving. We took every opportunity to keep her entertained during the day – walking her around the area, and with plenty of ball-throwing on the grounds. She would then relax with us during the evening. Smudge was a delight – very cute and cuddly, and he settled with us easily which was great. We met the family on a video call initially and then had a tour and a handover on our arrival day which was really appreciated. The family, especially the children, were fantastic in showing us around and left very helpful instructions on how to look after Smudge. The family home had everything that we needed, we slept very well, and would be very happy to return and spend time in this wonderful location, with Storm and Smudge.
I really enjoyed house sitting at Johannes and Silvia's nice apartment looking after their pet family. Three different personalities, each with his/her character; it is a really exciting experience for any cat- and dog-loving person. Winning their trust and affection was rewarding. Cats Bella and Tigris wanted to study a new person first. After that, it was mutual understanding and appreciation all the way. Bella is a tender. delicate cat who likes cuddles and human support while Tigris is a stronger, more independent one who communicates at a lower pitched voice. Together, they make a funny duet! Mono is a trusting soul eager to have a bond with a human staying with him. Starting from the second day, he was following me over the apartment and tried to keep close most of the time. Never had any problems with him. Silvia and Johannes are very nice and kind people appreciating the sitter's needs and interests. They are easy to reach out to when away from Berlin and will make your staying at their place comfortable and relaxing. From the bus stop next to the apartment one can get right to downtown Berlin and enjoy what one chooses to in that great city where so many things merge to create an unbelievable atmosphere. All the sitter's expectations will be met and exceeded! Definitely recommended and would love to meet all of them again!
I so enjoyed my 9 days looking after Buddy, Baxter, Alice, Annie, Pepper, and Fuzzy. Claire was so generous as to let me use their car to access the village. The house is beautifully situated in the rolling hills of southern France. It was truly a magical getaway. Thank you again Claire and family!
We enjoyed staying at Caroline’s and taking care of Bauguie. At the beginning he can be a little bit cranky, but once he trust you, he will be friendly and lovely. There are many green areas and trails that we enjoy with him.
Ansley and Max are an incredible couple! The communication, hospitality, their friendliness and professionalism- all of it was above and beyond what I expected and made my experience so enjoyable. And I can't say enough about Kobi, he is truly a special soul. So well trained and loving, walking him was a true joy everyday. Their neighborhood in Astoria has such amazing vibes, their apartment is on a quiet peaceful street while also being right in the middle of two bustling and lively parts of town, with so many great restaurants, bars, and shops to choose from. I would 100% recommend sitting for Ansley and Max, and I hope to sit for them again in the future too.
