We were very apprehensive about leaving our two Boys with strangers for two weeks while we were out of the country. We have always traveled with them or had a family member fly in. We weren't able to do that this time and decided to look for a house sitter. Our 13 year old Chihuahua is very frightened of people he doesn't know and can be aggressive. We also just recently adopted a 17 month old from a hoarder situation who is still having issues walking on a leash and using the bathroom outside. We expressed our concerns to Leeann and Rachel and they made us feel at ease based on their precious experiences. They came in two nights early and stayed with us so the Boys could get used to them. When we left Portugal, we knew we had left them in good hands. It took a day or two for them towin the Boys over. We were quickly getting pictures of them snuggling in bed, sleeping on heads, sitting in laps etc. Leeann had to figure out how to get Asher, to walk on his leash so she could take him to potty. She figured out a routine that worked by carrying him to the park and then putting him down to walk. After a week, he was comfortable walking with her. The highlight of our trip was receiving updates and pictures from them. We knew they were getting top notch care! Leeann and Rachel were also great Housesitters. They left the house spotless and treated our house like it was their own. I would highly recommend these two caring women. They are great!
