We had our first ever house sit at Taylor's place. It is the cutest place that is in walking distance to anything you might need. I really enjoyed walking up and down the streets looking at the beautiful homes. Remi and Griffin are sweet cats who we got along with no problem! Griffin is a champ when it comes to taking his insulin - we didn't have any problems at all. Thank you so much for trusting us with your home and kitties, Taylor!
I thoroughly enjoyed my time in Gotherington. I am so looking forward to returning for a second Sit in June ! My charge " Daisy " was very easy to look after. Only the weather wasn't kind for her, as some days it was too wet & cold for her to go outside for very long . Judith had everything very well documente for me. My room & amenities were very comfortable. The house & yard were great, despite renovations being done. It was easy to drive to buy groceries etc. Thank you Judith & Peter for your hospitality !!
I had a wonderful time taking care of Badu. He is the most affectionate and lovely cat! I really enjoyed playing and cuddling (and even talking!) with him. He is adorable and very easy to take care of. My stay in Valencia was wonderful. Patricia's apartment is very well located, we kept in contact regularly, and everything went smoothly. ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! To say this was one of our all time favourite sits would be an understatement. Amanda is amazing, very welcoming and generous. She lives in a beautiful home and provides sitters with such lovely accommodation that it is easy to feel like you are on holiday. Amanda is also super easy to communicate with and made sure that all information needed was provided. But Doodle and Daisy…oh....my....goodness!!! We love them so much! This was our first time sitting them and they were so well behaved, loving and gentle. We became the best of friends during out stay. Bonus! Doodle and Daisy’s walks are some of the most beautiful landscapes in the UK and they start just down the street. The village that they live in is so clean and gorgeous that it feels like you are living on a movie set. This sit really is perfect in every way!
This sit has been beyond my expectations as the dogs and cat are some of the best trained/well behaved I have ever experienced. And such loves! While Lori Ann was in another country on another time zone she was always very responsive and helpful. As the sit was for two weeks Lori Ann was generous to offer having someone come care for the dogs part of a day so I could go to the outer banks for an outing. Five stars all the way!
A wonderful time spent by the sea, in a lovely house with an adorable Border Collie and a lovely cat - this was our sit for Jackie. I spent some days there with my son to care for Max and Rosie. The house is directly by the beach, it has wonderful views, all is very clean and super comfortable. Max is a beauty and very energetic and we so enjoyed the time with him. He loved the long walks on the beach, always watching out for his ball and after the walk he liked to continue with ball and rope games in the garden. Rosie was sleeping most of the day, but we and she also enjoyed the cuddles in the morning and evening. It was a wonderful experience, thank you Jackie. We would love to sit again one day to see Rosie and Max again.

If you are in need of a doggy day care, then this is the place for you!! We had a week long family vacation planned and this was going to be the first time that we would be away from our girl, Summer. I was overly anxious about leaving her at a boarding facility because that's just not an environment she's used to being in. But thankfully, we found Jordan at Connie's Cottage! Jordan ensured a wonderful experience right from the beginning! We scheduled a meet & greet so Summer could get familiar with him and the area before we dropped her off. He listened to our concerns about our first time being away from her and had no problem staying consistent with her food additions and allergy medication! Immediately after dropping her off, we started receiving pictures and updates of their adventures! Jordan would consistently send pictures throughout the day of her on their multiple walls, local dog park visits, and even when they were just hanging out at home. It was such a relief to know that Summer was with someone who genuinely cared for her and had her in an environment that was more like home! Jordan even offered to check our mail for us while we were gone! I just absolutely love that this is a local, family owned business. I highly, highly recommend Jordan and his family if you are in need of doggy day care! We will absolutely be lifelong customers and will go back for all of our doggy daycare needs! 🐾🤎
Leaving my dog with a boarding facility/pet sitter has always been very difficult for me because I get super anxious being away from him especially with him being a rescue and he hasn’t had the best past experiences. But let me tell you, Connie’s Cottage is AMAZING. Jordan is so welcoming and does what he can to make sure that every dog is comfortable and happy and feels as much at home as possible with an open concept where they have free roam but are also NEVER left alone by themselves. You also can expect MULTIPLE pictures throughout the day while on vacation to show the little adventures or walks they are taking or just updates in general which eased my mind so much. My Brody can be quite the stubborn dude but has the biggest heart. I wouldn’t trust taking my dog anywhere else in the future. Brody had a blast and met so many new friends and explored all kinds of environments during his stay. I HIGHLY recommend using Connie’s Cottage Dog Services to anyone, whether you’re an anxious pet parent like me, or just in general for boarding services and other services they offer. I will always be taking Brody and other future pets here in the future!🩷 Thank you so much Jordan and Cottie’s Cottage for making this vacation so much less stressful and for caring for my best friend🩵
I can't say enough good things about Jordan and his family. They took amazing care of our two pugs while we were out of town for a week. Jordan was super communicative, sending daily photo updates via text (sometimes more than once a day). I enjoyed seeing my derpy dogs having fun exploring new dog parks and becoming temporary members of the "pack." Jordan had no issues with one of my dogs needing a pill with each meal--I appreciated that it wasn't a hassle. Towards the end of our trip the dogs had minor ear issues which Jordan immediately alerted me to so that we could address it when we got back and in the meantime he was proactive with ear cleaner. I highly recommend Connie's Cottage. The 100% 5-star reviews are well deserved. Good vibes all around. Thank you Jordan for taking such good care of our pups!
Jordan and Donna were prompt, professional, and flexible with scheduling. In particular, Jordan was incredibly generous in our first meeting to see if my dog would be a good fit. His attention to detail, knowledge of dogs and social interactions exuded confidence and showed that he was above all dedicated to the well-being of the dogs. I could see this was a labor of love, and not just a business interest. Our dog was initially very scared, but by the end of the day he was very happy and I could tell he was comfortable with Jordan and had a wonderful time with the other dogs. My experience with Jordan has been nothing but the best! I’ve been through a couple of day care facilities and dog sitters with my dog. More often than not, he comes back smelling like urine or not getting enough exercise. With Jordan, he comes back smelling like he did when we went and his exercise has been off the charts. I have a fitness tracker on my dog and his average daily activity when being with Jordan is 5 hours! My dog went on multiple walks and park time during the day. If you’ve ever seen Jordan out at Ft. Steilacoom Dog Park, you can tell that he knows what he’s doing. He knows how to get all the dogs to listen and follow him while still paying attention to every single one. Jordan’s communication with me has been wonderful! I’ve gotten multiple photos every time my dog goes out and the photos are of great quality. Jordan is really great at giving updates. I will continue to use Jordan’s services for my dog!
Jordan is excellent. Great with my pup and consistently very professional. Runs on time. His service is different from standard dog daycare. How he does it is so much more on the relationship with the dog. With walking… lots of walking, park time, sitting, training, and love all kind of rolled in. I have been very impressed. My dog loves being around him and his pack so much that it is even a bit of a challenge to get him back in my truck (in a good way). I trust this guy very much with by dog and will not hesitate to take him here again anytime I am working in the area.
Jordan is the best! My husband found Jordan over a year ago on Rover. We were looking for someone to walk them daily while my husband and kid’s were out of town and I had a long work week. Here we are a year later and he still comes three times per week. My dogs wait on the couch looking out the window…we call it Jordan watch. We have boarded with him a couple of times. We always joke that our dogs prefer him to us. Needless to say you won’t regret using Jordan for dog care! And he takes the best pictures!
Took the pups for an overnight at Connie's cottage before we go on our vacation in a month. I have checked out probably 100 places and visited a dozen or more. I'm super cautious about where I board them and do not want to worry about my fur babies when I'm gone. Jordan sent many pictures of their walks and updates. I feel very comfortable that they will be well taken care of with plenty of exercise and not just put in a kennel. When they came home they were exhausted. I also love he has dog CPR training and plans in place if anything may happen. Glad to have found a place my 2 pups can go and feel at home, cuddle on a couch and have plenty of exercise. ❤️❤️❤️
Jordan is amazing! He does it all, walking, sitting, boarding…. I think my dogs would choose him over me. Bella and Cubby are better behaved because of his care. 5 stars isn’t enough.
Jordan has been an absolute asset to our family! He took wonderful care of our elderly pup Daisy, providing peace of mind to us while we were working. Now he helps with our new pup Kevin, giving him much needed exercise and love when we're at work! Jordan has a special way with dogs, and I trust him completely. You can tell he really has a unique love and way with our canine family members!
Second time I ever Boad my two furr babies and I had the best experience here. I felt very comfortable and relieved they were both well taken care of, best part they have out door access during the day which made it 10x better, I will definitely be bringing my babies here again for any future care. I recommend this place 100% . Only downside live webcam didn't work all the time to see them but they were quick in replying to be with an update
My pups love mini mutts! They love their teachers who are awesome & affordable! My babies are excited to go to daycare everyday and they come home snoozed out! I knew that would be their daycare once they went to the trial, i also love that they’re only with little dogs all day. I don’t have to worry about them getting trampled over by bigger breeds. They have been nothing but welcoming to my babies and i know my babies love them!!! ❤️
We board our two dogs here and know they are cared for. Great price and the staff are so friendly and you know they just love the dogs. We book the “suite” so our two dogs can share, and bring their beds and a few toys from home for them. The first time we boarded I even called to check in on them and the staff gave me updates and we’re understanding of my dog mom anxiety about leaving them for the first time ever. We’ve been back since and will continue to go here!
I cannot say enough good things about Mini Mutts!!!! Jessica and Leilani go out of their way to make my pup feel happy, safe and loved every time she’s there. They have taken the time and patience to get to know my nervous pup, and knowing that she is getting such personal care and love while I am away from her is absolutely priceless. We have tried many daycares, and this is truly the best place around! I’d give it 100 stars if I could :-)
We love Mini Mutts! Luna gets so excited when we get to the building. She can't wait to get in and play. The staff really loves the pups. They have a little retail section and they will clip your dogs claws for a reasonable add-on fee. They also have a grooming set up and you can schedule their groomer (who is paid separately from the daycare) to come while your pup is at daycare.
Very friendly worker. They literally get in the play area with the dogs and throw the ball. Really what I loved was there's cameras to watch your fur baby while she's there. Very good prices.
I have been bringing my dog Sturgill (7months) to mini mutts since February. He was a little nervous when he first started but he absolutely loves going to daycare now! We have used them to board him several times over the last month as we had a death in the family and had to go out of town a few times. He was well taken care Of. You can tell the staff really love the pups. He comes home exhausted from playing with his friends all day. I also like that they have cameras and I can check in on him throughout the day. I’m so glad I found mini mutts!
Such a great environment for small dogs! I can be sure that my dog will be safe and the staff are so friendly that I feel comfortable leaving my dog there. I have tried boarding and also really enjoyed it, especially because they have cameras so you can check up on your pooch anytime of the day. If you have a small dog, this is the place for you! :)
My dog 6 pound dog Puff was very shy at first and this group has helped him be more brave and social. He now gets excited when we pull in and he sees where we are. Great place for small dogs to board very safe and friendly.
Been to a few different day cares around Tacoma and Mini Mutts is by far the best! Lelahni and Jessica are wonderful people who really care about the dogs. The space is big and my dog is tired for two days after a day here. Highly recommend Mini Mutts!
