Lisa and Mike were amazing house and pet sitters. They took care of our hound as if she was their own. She got all the exercise and love she needed. The garden also was cared for perfectly. Our home and garden looked better than when we left! The kitchen was restocked with that they had used and the house super clean. Lisa was the perfect communicator - not too many updates, just enough to make us smile that our pup was so happy. We got to meet them in person before we took off (they made the effort to arrive a day early so as to meet us all and see the house) and it was clear right away that they are adaptable and capable people who are also truly kind. We highly recommend these two to care for your home and pet.

An absolute delight of a sit. Nature, great animals, comfortable house, easy hosts.

All the animals are easy and such wonderful personalities.

Rafa, the cockapoo, is an affectionate companion. He loved long walks and also running around the fields of the house. He was gentle, engaging and really appreciated the company. Louis, the cat, had a morning lap sit and stroke. Appeared at meal times and chilled nearby. Him and Rafa have a good relationship. The chooks offer fresh eggs everyday, you let them out early morning and they take themselves to bed, you just close the gate. The horses are pretty much self sufficient and inquisitive to humans, I checked their water each day, went and had a chat with them and gave them a pat.

I went without my car, which made for a delightful writers retreat. Taxi from Diss is c. £17 each way. Diss has a direct train into London Liverpool Street. The nearest village is Eye, which I walked to with Rafa. It's about 40mins walk each way on quiet lanes and bridleways. There's a good co-op there, a chippy and nice cafe. Supermarket delivery is easy. With a car there is plenty to explore in the area. I was happy on the farm, with so much nature around and such great pets it was all wonderful.

The house is clean, comfortable. The cut flowers, veg patch, swimming pool and hot tub, were all big bonuses. Communication with Helen was easy. She is a laid back host and very welcoming.

I'd sit here again without a second thought. Thanks Helen for your trust.

Pamela is the nicest! Her house is in the best location of Amsterdam, everything is near and walkable, and she's always available to answer any question.
The best part although is Bokkie, she's a little crazy on the leash (watch out for people wearing black hoodies, she's not a fan) but she's really easy going at home and loovvees to cuddle.
Thank you so much for having me, I wholeheartedly recommend this sit! 😊

Great walks in the nearby New Forest areas with gorgeous Hugo (cocker spaniel). Cats were older, but still affectionate and cuddly. House was warm and cosy, with a beautiful Christmas tree (December) and lovely views from upstairs. Sway is a cute village with a fabulous butcher selling prepared meals, a Coop and 2 pubs - all within walking distance. Lymington is a short drive away, with a Waitrose and a number of other shops. We really enjoyed our stay.

Jessica and Diego are friendly and thoughtful hosts. They were kind enough to invite me for dinner and to stay the night before the sit, which was a lovely chance to get to know them and the dogs! Both Pippin and Pablo are absolutely gorgeous and we were joined by another family dog, Maggie. Together, the 3 of them were such characters and I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know them, playing in the garden and going for short walks.

Jessica and Diego's home is modern, comfortable and stylish. It had everything I could possibly have needed and was a calm and relaxing space to spend time in. The location was convenient too, within walking distance of bus stops, shops, cafes and the seafront.

All in all, this was a wonderful sit and I would happily return in the future :)

I had a wonderful time pet sitting Angus and Gordie. Both are incredibly sweet dogs with great personalities. They are very fun to hang out with and are great walkers. Stephen's home was nice and clean, in a great part of town. I would happily pet sit Angus and Gordie again!

We were lucky enough to spend 3 weeks over Christmas with the very gorgeous Rafa and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Hil and Pete are lovely people and made us feel instantly at home.

The house is beautiful, it looks like a cute little cottage from the outside and opens up into an amazing, spacious, stylish home, with everything you'd need for a comfortable stay. It's located in a lovely area, with loads of stunning walks, friendly neighbours and a couple of great pubs just around the corner.

The highlight of our stay, however, has to be Rafa! He is such a joy to look after: he's a lovely, energetic and affectionate boy. Rafa is very clever and full of energy: he knows lots of tricks, has great recall on walks and was always good with other dogs.

Thank you for a fantastic stay Hil, Pete and Rafa, we're looking forward to seeing you all again soon! x
