Briles is a very well behaved dog and not to mention extremely smart and so sweet. The cats were sweet too. Kayleigh communicated well, answered all my questions, and was accommodating
We had a wonderful time at this housesit. Monica is a gracious host and great communicator. Her home is spacious, clean, and well-located in a nice neighborhood, close to everything. Monica provided us with every convenience, plenty of space, and made our stay very relaxing. We really enjoyed taking care of McNulty; he’s a handsome Siamese with an interactive, sweet personality. Our sit was over Christmas, so we had fun decorating the tree and preparing our holiday dinner in her well-appointed kitchen. We would love to return!
This was easily a five-star sit. Freddy has such a cute little personality and is just my kind of cat - he's independent, but also friendly, affectionate, and so adorable! The condo is very comfortable. Ray made sure I had everything I needed, and gave me good recommendations for tv shows to watch. :) Also, the condo is in a great location - just a few hundred meters to a grocery store, pharmacy, and several other services. I had such a great stay with Freddy, I would go back in a heartbeat!
It was a pleasure to do this sit in Collingwood and care for Princess who has a calm, sweet, and relaxed disposition. Wendy and Bill are a friendly and welcoming couple who gave me a tour of their modern and spacious bungalow that has a beautifully finished basement and cosy, private backyard deck before they left. A printed summary sheet along with their Welcome Guide explained everything, and we kept in touch by text often while they were away. Princess is well-trained and easy to walk on the nature trails. When she sees a squirrel or rabbit, she can’t contain her excitement and barks and wants to chase but this is short-lived if you distract her and keep walking. She loves to fetch her toys inside and was quiet and still when sleeping with me on the comfy mattress. She will watch with curiosity what you’re viewing on the tv screen. Princess has many canine and human friends who know her in this neighbourhood so it was great to meet them and have a chat. Wendy invited me to use her bicycle and so I rode on the Georgian Trail and made it Craigleith although Thornbury and Meaford were not that far to go to. Visiting the charming downtown shops and Blue Mountain Village and Thonbury Thai restaurant are all close by and highly recommended. Thank you for a wonderful week Wendy and Bill and Princess ! We were recently fortunate enough to housesit for Penny and Kenneth, caring for their dog Scapa and cat Tigga. We were warmly welcomed into their beautifully maintained home and invited to share a delicious home cooked meal. They provided a comprehensive handover prior to the commencement of the sit, ensuring our stay went smoothly, we were well informed and organised. Penny and Kenneth both took the time to show us some of Scapa’s favourite walking tracks and kindly recommended other areas/foods/experiences they thought we might enjoy. They are an exceptionally thoughtful, generous and kind hearted couple, who made us feel “at home”. It was such a pleasure sitting for Penny and Kenneth. We couldn’t recommend them highly enough to a potential sitter, and would be delighted to sit for them again.
I had a great few days with super cute and cuddly Birdie. She is really easy to care for, and is the most adorable kitty, making her funny little chirping noises to announce her arrival or to get your attention. She jumped onto my lap at every opportunity which was fine by me! Kate was really generous and I felt at home in her beautiful cottage. It is really cosy and in a beautiful location, I’d love to visit again some time!
