Jenny and Duncan
Bertie has previously been described as a ‘Gentleman’ and that he is - impeccable manners, charming and handsome. He is a strong, energetic dog who loves his walks and has been trained very well. His response to commands is exceptional and it makes him a delight to look after.

The stunning house is set in a beautiful rural village with walks usually involving deer sightings, birds of prey and a brief chat with residents who all know Bertie - even the bin man jumped out of his cab to say ‘Hello’ and produced a treat for him!

Jenny and Duncan were very welcoming and thorough in explaining the workings of their home and Bertie’s requirements. A wonderful sit, in glorious surroundings and above all, Bertie x

Melissa & Marcos
Melissa and Marcos were very easy to coordinate with and were quick to respond to inquiries. We felt welcome in their home and got along great with their three pets. Tommy was definitely the cuddler of the group!

Linda and John
Linda & John were lovely hosts. They picked us up at the airport and gave us a tour of the old town including lunch out when we arrived.

We went out for dinner in the evening too and they explained New Mexican cuisine to us which was really helpful.

We had use of their car and we were encouraged to go sightseeing as well as taking Oscar for walks further afield.

The pets were easy-going and as described. Oscar was good on his lead and meeting other dogs. He travels well in the car. Clancy and Mia were great cats and although Clancy is more aloof, he warmed to us. Mia is very chatty.

The house was spotless and a lovely environment. Both the master bedroom and the casita were comfortable. The pool and garden were a lovely place to relax and we loved watching the hummingbirds during our first week there.

We spent quality time with Linda & John before leaving as they invited us to stay longer than the sit using the casita in the garden and pretty much insisted that we go to the International Balloon Fiesta which began on our final weekend there. It was amazing and we are so glad we had the opportunity to do that.

A highly recommended sit and one we’d return to.

Joshua
This might be one of my favorite trusted house sits of all time because I completely fell in love with Ava. Both Ava and Zoe were a treat to take care of but Ava followed me everywhere with endless love and it was the cutest thing ever. The house is beautiful and was very comfortable to be in. Would gladly
house sit in the future :)

Julia
We had a fantastic week at Julia’s looking after Finn and Franny. We totally fell in love with them both. They’re the most loveable and sweet dogs. Be prepared for them to be with you the whole time when you are in, they are little magnets.

The house is on a lovely street and Julia made us feel really welcome and comfortable. The house is great and it was lovely being able to walk to Blackheath every day. We would be delighted to come back and would recommend to any sitter.
