Their routine is easy to follow and they're very good at good communicating what they need, especially when it comes to snuggles and scratches behind the ears. Scotty house is beautiful - he has thought of everything to make your stay easy, homey and warm. And it's located within minutes of a grocery store, coffee house, restaurants and the Anthony Henday. I highly recommend sitting for Scotty, Frank & Kiko.

It was a treat to watch little Ramy and stay at Sarah's sweet spot. I enjoyed engaging in creative activities in the space, and Sarah left her studio available for us to create any art we felt inspired to work on. Ramy enjoyed playing with the loose material and laser pointer the most, so we bonded over those things. Overall, Sarah was a great communicator & I would recommend staying here if you have the chance to cat-sit Ramy!
The apartment is amazing with all the amenities that one could need and situated in a very convenient location. I loved the bedroom because of the comfy bed and large TV. The TV system has Neflix, Amazon, Disney, Apple etc. One could just lay in bed and watch TV all day. The two kitties are cute but have very different personalities. Dante is super cute, adorable and chill. Nina can be unpredictable. You have to let her get used to you and come to you. If you approach too soon she might not be nice. We eventually got comfortable with each other but I had to assess her mood before making any any move.
Beautiful house in a farm with 3 lovely dogs. Tom’s instructions were very clear and helpful for our sitting. They answered all our questions before and during the sitting.
I had a wonderful time caring for Ned and Lydia at Max's charming home. The house has a lovely vintage and cozy feel to it, and the backyard offers a stunning view. I enjoyed spending my evenings watching the sunset on the deck with Ned and Lydia, who often tried to squeeze on my lap together. They're both very affectionate and playful, just like little puppies. We had fun going for walks and playing fetch with their toys. Max is also the sweetest host, made me feel super comfortable. I would definitely recommend this pet and housesitting experience for a pleasant stay.

We have used Vickie to look after our cat when we are away since moving into the area a couple of years ago. Our cat suffers from stress related urinary issues and can get nervous around new people but she took to Vickie very quickly and we have always felt she is in safe hands. We receive regular updates and videos which show that she is very at ease with Vickie. I would thoroughly recommend Harris Paws!
Vickie looked after our cat, tortoise, 2 guinea pigs and fish whilst we went on holiday for a week. We have regular communication and the pets were so settled. Our cat loved her morning and evening cuddles and keeping her to get routine really reduced her stress. We would definitely use Harris paws again and really recommend their service.

As a vet I'm very fussy about who looks after my cats (who are both incredibly spoiled). I used Harris Paws over Christmas after a recommendation and couldn't have been happier. Our cats were very well looked after (they can worry with strangers but updates from Vickie let me know that they were showing their normal relaxed behavior, getting cuddles and demanding food!). I can't recommend Harris Paws highly enough!
Vickie and Stuart of Paw Pals Shepton Mallet are brilliant with our cockapoo Coco! They have been with her ever since she was a tiny pup - they are like an extra family to her. We always wanted a dog but worried about the commitment on the days I work, but its so reassuring for us and Coco to know that she'll be walked and looked after when we can't be there. Nothing is too much trouble and they have helped with her training too. They have been so accommodating, calling in when plans have changed last minute and boarding and evenings too. Plus I love the text messages they send to let us know what they've been up to with her! Thank you both so much, we couldn't have a Coco in our lives without your help.

Found this pets' heaven on route to Wales this summer From the moment i enquired we knew we were in a good place. We took our queens (chickens) were super happy with everything on offer. Smudge, our mini Rex rabbit, came home very relaxed after a week being looked after by Nicky and her daughters. He had plenty of outdoor space and his pod was cosy for him. Nicky’s set up is very secure and she was very welcoming. I would thoroughly recommend her.
I couldn’t recommend Nicky at Pip’s Pods highly enough. She was so warm and friendly via email, answering all my questions promptly and thoroughly, and setting a mad guinea pig lady’s mind at ease! She thoroughly spoilt both my boys whilst they were with her, providing the most beautiful indoor and outdoor accommodation as well as a range of herbs and veggies for them to munch on. I was concerned about them in the heat as it was pushing 30 degrees when they stayed with her, but Nicky was so reassuring, messaging me to tell me when she’d checked on the pigs and sending me pictures of them having fun! I don’t know what she did with one of my piggies but she somehow managed to change him from a grumpy guinea to a much more cheerful version when I collected him! I think he needs to stay more often! I thoroughly recommend choosing Pip’s Pods for your small animal care when you go away - it couldn’t have been better.
I was really struggling to find decent boarding for our rabbit Jarrod as most sites were either breeders who happened to have a couple of spare hutches or were boarders advertising spacious accommodation only to find that the boarding was in small hutches staked 4 high in a shed! how lucky we were to find Pips Pods run by Nicky. Nicky has a lovely country home and will only house a few animals at a time (I say animals as she boards more than just rabbits). our Jarrod is a house rabbit but appeared more than happy with his outdoor accommodation and had a large outdoor space to stretch his legs. Nicky is an obvious animal lover as you will see for your self when you visit. Jarrod was treated to fresh greens every day and Nicky even went out of her way to bake him some banana treats. When it came to collection time Jarrod he appeared very happy and relaxed, I'm sure he could talk he would have been asking to stay a little longer!!!. I've never felt comfortable booking a holiday and leaving my pets in somebody else's care, however was so impressed with Pips pods we have already booked Jarrod's boarding for next summer and will have no issues leaving him with Nicky if we ever felt like a weekend away. I cannot rate Pip's Pods highly enough, a great service, great animal care and very under priced for the service provided. I would advise booking pips pods as early as you can as quality boarding is hard to find and is likely to book up fast.
Lovely local place for my 3 hens to board, whilst we took a holiday. Very clean and tidy, hens have plenty of space to roam about and came back looking very healthy. Had the added bonus of Nicky keeping their eggs for us when we came back. Would certainly recommend as a great place to look after your pets whilst you are away.
We were very happy with our experience keeping our 5 hens here whilst our garden was being redone. Email booking was very responsive and the owner was very understanding with our needs as it was unpredictable exactly how long we would need to stay with ongoing garden works being done. Drop offs and pick ups were also very flexible. Very impressed with the space and Nicky was very friendly and knowledgeable with hens, which reassured us that they were staying in the right place. Would definitely recommend.
Nicki has taken care of our rabbits during our holidays as well as us and even better. She considered our bunnies like hers and finally they have spent as good holidays as us. Nicky is a thoughtful, caring lady who loves all animals furry, feathered and, I suspect, otherwise! 😃 We boarded our 6 hens and 5 quail at Pip's Pods and just through our first message contact I felt an instant peace of mind. Nicky responds quickly and with understanding, no question too daft! She has spectacular pods in a big lush green acre (correct me if it's bigger?) containing big covered avaries with wonderful Omelet and locally made quality housing, coops, hutches etc, including smaller Omelet homes for the littlies. Claire’s has been a great help. I recently moved to the area and needed a dog walker fairly quickly. She takes my dog out three times a week, he loves her and can’t wait to go out with her. She is reliable and clearly loves animals. She is very willing to go out in all weathers even though my dog hates rain and just wants to get home. Our little dog has just had a trial stay with Susie at Greenacres. We were quite anxious about leaving her for the first time but she seemed to settle and slept all the way home after enjoying the freedom of Susie’s paddocks.

I had a mixed experience boarding our 8 month old puppy at Greenacres. We were out of the country and whilst we received daily videos I was contacted after a few days to inform me my dog had jumped up on a table and broken a ‘favourite mug’. I apologised and offered to replace it. I was perplexed when informed it was a mug widely available on Amazon (which I purchased & had sent to Susie the next day). This was unsettling given that I’d been reassured when I booked, that my lively pup could be managed. It was a relief to collect my pup only to receive a disappointingly negative handover from the member of staff. This added to my unease. The dog was defensive and unsettled for 72 hours after returning home. I’ve since found out a couple of acquaintances had similar experiences at Greenacres with their dogs being a nuisance, jumping up and breaking things.
Suzy is great with our dogs...they both had a lovely time there. We were able to go and enjoy our holiday knowing the dogs were well cared for and entertained with their various new dog friends. Thanks Suzy.
My dog stayed here for 3 days. We were on holiday and needed a place for sparky to stay during the day while we visited places,where dogs were not allowed. Livy and her wonderful family have been boarding my dogs at their lovely home for at least 6 years. They are always well cared for and I can relax when I’m on holiday as my dogs are taken into their family home and treated like part of the family. Scally Waggers Dog Care Service is definitely 5 star! I contacted Livi when Dougie (our giant golden doodle) was just a puppy, due to Dougie’s size and over friendly nature we had to ensure we found the right doggy day care and boarding service who was comfortable with larger dogs. Livi instantly put my mind at ease and arranged a meet and greet. During the meet and greet Doug had a chance to play with the other dogs whilst Livi observed to make sure we were all comfortable. Dougie instantly looked relaxed, that was 6 years ago and we could not be more pleased, Doug gets so excited when he sees Livi and the whole family - they treat him as part of their family whilst he’s with them it’s a real home from home, I often get the impression when I pick him up that he doesn’t want to leave as he’s had such a lovely time. Livi is loving but firm which is exactly what Dougie needs. Dougie sadly started having the occasional seizure when he was 3yrs old, Livi has been great during these times giving so much support and advice. It certainly puts our minds at ease and means we can go on holiday without having to worry about Dougie as we know he’s having so much fun with Livi and the family, plus during Dougie’s stays we see on the Scally Waggers Facebook page pictures of the adventures they have during his walks, usually playing with Livi’s own dog Sid! I honestly cannot recommend them enough!

I’ve never ever had to Worry one second when away on holiday or at work , in fact my dog gets luxuriously Pampered every time she goes to livs, and has her own little holiday herself ! Livi looked after our Weimaraner brilliantly and it meant I could go away and not worry about him. He doesn’t like to be parted from me but he settled well. She was able to accommodate special requirements for walking and sleeping with no problem and I would highly recommend Scally Waggers
Livi @ Scally Waggers has provided excellent loving care for our springer who absolutely loves her time there with the family, almost home from home! Text and photo updates were so welcome and gave us complete peace of mind that all was well and our pooch was happy and very well looked after. I can highly recommend Livi.
Whether it’s an over night stay or a whole week, Otis loves his own little holiday away from home because it’s just that a home away from home. He loves being part of the family and gets on with whichever other dogs are there. I wouldn’t let him holiday anywhere else. Super super care.

My German shepherd had a good stay here and will be staying in June for 5 nights, he loved playing with all the toys and it’s very good he can socialise with other dogs. We are very lucky this place is so close to home and have been trying to find doggy care for a while and we are happy to say we have found this place!
These guys are amazing. I have a very lively 13 month old Border Terrier who has never been left. The owners and staff have been great, we've introduced him slowly, started with a half day, a few full days and last night his first overnight stay! I'm happy and Ferris is happy (and tired!). They've really put my mind at rest and I feel comfortable leaving him, he has a great time too! Thanks to the whole team from Susie and Ferris x
What a fabulous place this is for your dog. Willow had her second visit to “dog camp” and loves it. Kristie, Sam and their helpers really care for the dogs who have a great place to play and run. They are not confined to a kennel with the odd walk, like other establishments. We have no hesitation in leaving Willow in their care but if you want to book, be quick, they are very popular!
We have used Little dogs for a few years and our dog, Arthur, has enjoyed every minute. He starts to get excited as we pull into the lane and then rushes out the car without a backwards glance. We know he has fun, is very well looked after and loved. We fully recommend and feel lucky we found them.
We left our dog in their care whilst on holiday. To have a phone call saying he had been left at the vets on his own saying he's had a collision. A week later he got worse and was told he got bit on his leg by a snake. A week after and £10,000 later we then got told it could cost an extra £20,000 to try and keep his leg but then it still might not prevent it. So we made the decision to have his leg amputated. The kennels ignored our messages and updates on blue and have not helped out, asked how he is or got in touch. We really do not want any other dog or family to go through this again.
I’ve never put my dogs in kennels before due to the fear of them being depressed and not exercised but little dogs “not so little dogs” have completely changed my mind. 😁 they were recommended to me when I was struggling to find a dogsitter that would be able to cope with me very friendly, manic springer for 10 days and they welcomed us in straight away. All the staff are so friendly and Barney settled in immediately after his trials and inductions. I received photos whilst abroad via their Facebook page which gave me piece of mind that he was having the best time. When I came home the feedback I got was Barney to a T so I know the staff had taken time to interact and observe all his behaviours good and cheeky! I will definitely be using them again on our next trips away, it’s now barneys favourite place! 🐾 well priced, easy online portal booking system, lovely staff, great facilities, built securely for even the most professional escape artists to fail and a fun place for all the doggies! 🐾
What can I say about Little Dogs? They are everything we wanted for our older dog when we went away but it was not to be. So when Jazz came into our lives and a family week abroad meant having to find somewhere for her to stay we started to look at options outside the traditional kennel stays. Jazz can be a sensitive soul but LDNSLD's have definitely brought her out of her shell and her split personalities shine through in the great photos we look forward to at the end of the day. We rested well knowing that she was having the time of her life and could have a well earned rest in her kennel at the end of the day. The staff have one of the best jobs and they lap up giving the dogs lots of attention which ensures that they trot through the door at the start of the day with a waggy tail! Long may the beautiful relationship we have continue x

What can I say about LittleDogs? We rescued a nutter of a dog a few years ago. He suffers from separation anxiety and we found this really difficult. It was equally difficult to find somewhere we were happy to leave him as he isn't straight forward! Sam and Kristie are simply amazing - Alfie is SO happy to see them. We never hesitate to leave him there as he has such a good time and comes back incredibly tired. Thank you Sam and Kristie!

I have 2 miniature dachshunds, one being quite nervous, who have been attending Pupz 'n' Pawz daycare for just over a year. I feel they get the best care and attention from Sam and Darren, as well as the rest of the staff, and as a result, I have seen them both grow in confidence since attending. They recently had their first overnight boarding stay which I was bit apprehensive about, but there was no need to be as Sam kept me updated and I picked up 2 very happy dogs. I would definitely recommend Pupz 'n' Pawz and I feel very fortunate to have such brilliant services close by. Very big thank you to Sam and Darren!

This place is absolutely amazing; it is run by extremely talented and caring people. They give the best care and have the knowledge to back that up with. Brilliant place for anything Doggy related. As first time dog owners we really didn’t know what we were doing but Sam and Darren are so very knowledgeable and friendly we loved taking our puppy to classes there (and he loved it too). Apart from being very welcoming they are extremely patient (with owners and dogs!) Sam and Darren are very understanding of all degrees of experience and we were never made to feel like the rookies we were and our confidence with our puppy and indeed all dogs came on greatly. Cannot recommend this place strongly enough!
Darren helped my family with training for our reactive dog Finn and he was absolutely fantastic! We learnt so much and he was really encouraging and helpful throughout. He showed us behaviours to look out for and what techniques to practice with Finn at home. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who needs help with dog training & obedience!
Wolfie is a Romanian rescue with a very checkered past, who moved in with us during lockdown. She arrived with some challenging behaviour and was not the most gracious of hostesses in her home or anyone else's home she was visiting come to that. She wasn't vicious, just a bit growly and bad mannered. Although she got on well with other dogs in the park, she was reactive on the lead and would respond with a growling snarl to various dogs, like small yappy ones, dogs with audible breathing issues, dogs that looked at her the wrong way. Not polite. She really needed to socialise with lots of different dogs, particularly in enclosed spaces under supervision. I discussed this all with Sam and we decided to take it slow. Sam gradually introduced Wolfie to different dogs in a controlled, supervised environment. Wolfie is a different dog now. She loves all her doggy friends, regardless of their size, snorting and yappyness. This is supported by photos and comments from Sam when she visits. She is so well socialised now. I cannot praise enough, the skills and commitment to delivering a safe, caring service for all the dogs fortunate enough to spent time with this dedicated team. Sam's last comment to me yesterday was '...she had an amazing day and had settled so well. Not a single grumble at over enthusiastic puppies at all and she was very playful herself!' I cannot recommend this service enough! The staff are always so helpful and have been so patient with Brucie and his separation anxiety. Brucie loves going on his walks, I love the reports we get after the walk to see how he has got on.... although today there was traffic issues when I receive these pictures I can truly see how much the staff love the doggies and really enjoy their jobs! Fabulous grooming service. So happy to discover that HPCS offer this. Our Cavapoochon always comes out happy and looking gorgeous. Great teeth cleaning process too. Chloe is lovely. Highly recommend.
Mabel has been going out for weekly walks for over a year now. She loves getting together with other dogs and gets so excited when the van pulls onto our driveway. I highly recommend heathers pet care services and always mention them to other dog owners.
Just finished Heathers pet services puppy classes as Rosemary Lodge. We really enjoyed the sessions and my pup and I will both benefit from what we have learnt. Sophie N was fantastic. She is really engaging, knowledgeable and always ready to answer any questions separate from the lesson content. I wasn’t looking forward to being out on a cold Wednesday evening but am now sad it’s finished. Would def recommend. Will be looking to book some of Heather’s other pet services.
We did not have the best experience with Heather’s Pet Services. We genuinely appreciated how understanding and hard working the staff were, however the customer service really let us and our two cats down. I understand this is a predominantly dog-centred service, but we were assured they could look after Persian cats and their additional specific needs. We were extremely anxious about leaving our cats alone, to the point that it’s prevented us from taking trips since before the pandemic. It took a few visits for them to get used to these and I took particular care to update our information in their online portal. After each visit we could tell the staff really took on our feedback, which was amazing. However, on arriving home after the last two visits, we found one or both cats had become unwell and left unpleasant smells and messes to attend to, definitely not a nice environment to come home to after being away. After letting customer service know about this, the response was very unsympathetic and unprofessional. We were blamed for their errors and told we were at fault for making a staff member ill with the feedback we gave previously. I have never come across a business take so little responsibility for the quality of their services (at frankly extortionate prices) or the wellbeing of their staff, and I was particularly shocked by the lack of interest in the wellbeing of our cats after the final visit. Unfortunately, we would not feel safe leaving our cats under their supervision again.
About 5 years ago our cockapoo Barney began to get very agitated whilst being groomed. This got steadily worse to the point that the groomer said they would not be able to groom him without him being sedated…. We did this reluctantly, as we hated the effect the drugs had on him. I was chatting it through with the vet as this had been going on for a couple of years and I felt that it could not be good to do this as Barney was nearing 9. A number of people mentioned that Heather’s pets had a lady who was a trained dog behaviourist and wonderfully patient grooming team. I felt it was worth a go although did wonder if the saying ‘ you cannot teach an old dog new tricks’ would be validated! Sophie a trained dog behaviourist and Chloe the chief groomer have worked wonders- between them they have taken time with Barney to ensure he is comfortable with them and in their grooming room. They have cared for him and eased him in gradually to being able to be first washed and cleaned with them and now groomed without any sedation at all! It is such a relief and I am so grateful- they always reassured me too that I was not being a paranoid dog owner and that it would be worth taking this time- and it certainly has been. We are all so thankful they are fantastic!
My dog has been having regular weekly walks with the staff at heathers pet care services. Mabel loves being collected and going out with a group of dogs. The staff are dedicated animal lovers and take great care of your pets. Mabel has a brilliant bond with whichever walker she has and get super excited when she sees them walk up our path. I Highly reccomend heathers pet care services
Heather’s Pet Care Services is fantastic! I attended the puppy training classes & found them to be really informative, interactive & supportive. Sophie led the classes & found her to be really professional, helpful & so knowledgeable! I also take my dog along to their pet groomer Chloe, who has been amazing with her & always do a fantastic groom. My dog was not keen with being groomed, however in Chloe’s care, we haven’t looked back! I thoroughly recommend you use Heather’s Pet care Services for all your pet needs!
We have only positive things to say about both Sophie and Heathers Pet Care Services. We arranged some 121 sessions with Sophie for our little Cockapoo recently - and Sophie was so friendly, knowledgeable and Sophie made every session exciting. Our Cockapoo was so entertained, and we've taken all the training notes, games and general advice moving forwards and we can't wait to use the services again. Thanks again :)
We have used Heathers for a number of years now for group walking, grooming, puppy training and 121 dog training. They are all excellent and the online booking system is very helpful. Would highly recommend to any dog owners in Bath area.
