We were very thankful that Lisa and Scott allowed us into their home to look after their cat, Harumi. Harumi didn't seem too keen on us at first, often hunkering down in her bedroom save for meal times and the odd hiss-off, but after a several days we became great friends which was really heart-warming. Lisa was super accommodating pre and post-sit which was very helpful and also gave some good recommendations for places to visit, of which there are many. The flat is close to the central line which was handy. Scott has an impressive record collection, some great books, and good taste in red wine (woops, hope the replacement was ok ;)
Deborah's home was a joy to visit. I was greeted with clear instructions and welcoming environment. Located just steps from downtown Shepherdstown, WV, this home was easy walking distance from the center. The secluded garden and beautiful landscaping made this a tiny oasis in an urban environment. To add to the experience, her cats, Alfie and JFKitty, were cuddly and talkative gentlemen and wonderful to take care of. Thank you Deb, JFKitty and Alfie. I hope you consider inviting me back someday soon.
