From the very get-go, we loved Malena and Ivo, and were so happy they were able to come and take care of our cat and home for 3.5 weeks! Such a wonderful couple, thoughtful, generous, attentive, respectful, clear communicators and kind. They took great care of our cat and were in regular contact with us about her shenanigans (not many - it was hot and she preferred to hang out with them). They solved little things that came up (an electricity outage, for example) and took great care of our family when they returned from their travels - with a clean house, freshly made beds, a lovely meal and a glass of wine. We would love them to come again! And if you are considering them for a sit, jump at the chance! You'll be lucky to have them. :)
What can I say... Linda and Tony are just the best. They took the greatest care of our pets and home, going above and beyond the call of duty. Our Springer Spaniel had been diagnosed with a liver complaint a few days before we were due to leave and they took on the making of a special diet when Megan refused to eat the vetinarary prescribed food and also baked for my nieces charity cake stall. The house was pristine when we arrived home, and I think quietly the dogs were quite disappointed to see us walk through the door and not Linda and Tony. I cannot praise them highly enough and in fact they are due to housesit again for us in the not too distant future. Snap them up if you get the chance, you will not regret the decision to get them to housesit for you. Happy travels guys
Sydney sat for us whilst we visited family in Ireland. Before the sit, the comms were easy and quick. We had a quick video call and got a really good feeling which proved to be right. Throughout the sit Sydney provided us with photos and updates and checked with us where she was unsure about things which we probably should have told her in advance, like recycling. Our flight was an evening delayed and was delayed by several hours - Sydney offered to stay on to make sure Massy was fed and looked after and was really flexible, so at least we didn't have that to worry about as we sorted our return travel. The house was spotless when we got back and couldn't have asked for it to be any better to return to. Fully recommend Sydney as a sitter.
I had an absolutely wonderful experience looking after Maud. She is an absolute sweetheart—cuddly, loving, and always by my side, following me every step of the way. The neighborhood was charming and peaceful, perfect for long walks with this sweet and well-behaved dog. Lorna is amazing, she made me feel welcome, took the time to show me around and ensured I had everything I needed. Communication was excellent; she was always quick to respond to any questions I had. It was a pleasure to take care of Maud, and their adorable home and I would happily sit for them again! Highly recommended!
Our short house sit at Claire’s was very easy and comfortable in a great location. The three cats were fun and easy to care for especially as Claire had provided such excellent information on their care and her home.
