Renata was wonderful! She was great with the 3 pets and the house. Kept in touch and very responsive. I would gladly have her back to house and pet sit again.
My husband and I absolutely loved our two weeks with James Dean and loved getting to know Amelia & Clark! We arrived a couple days early to review all the details (e.g. walking route, food, etc.) to care for James Dean which really helped. They even picked us up and dropped us off from the local bus terminal when we arrived and left. They also took us grocery store shopping and to the bank before they left. Amelia and Clark were súper knowledgeable and have us a tons of information about where to eat, shop, etc. and connected us with their local friend in San Miguel de Allende which we really appreciated. Their home was super clean, safe, and comfortable. They have the greatest housekeeper and gardener that both come twice a week so you as the sitter don’t need to worry about that. They have a security entrance to their complex and the security guards and neighbors were friendly. Amelia and Clark warned us about power outages and they had candles and extra water (to use for the restroom) ready for us to use. The power went out a couple times , which wasn’t a big deal, and the water and candles came in handy! And for the best part, James Dean. He is such a sweet dog. He doesn’t hear well so he loves to be wherever you are and wants to to be around everyone. He is a cuddler and we loved and welcomed it. Place a doggy bed near you if you plan to stay in an area for long and he will happily sit next to you. He loves his walks in the morning, which we tended to do before it got too hot out. Make sure he sees you leave before you head out to town or something because he loves to know where people are. All in all, a great stay with a great dog and amazing pet parents. Highly recommend and we would return again. Thank you Amelia and Clark for being wonderful pet parents and hosts!
What a wonderful experience I had at the Love Lodge! It is the perfect getaway spot for some rest and relaxation and kitty cuddles. I looked forward to watching the deer roam the property and listening to the owls hooting on a daily basis. Stargazing while soaking outside in the warm tub was also a simple pleasure to be enjoyed. And walks around the community and down along the water are not to be missed! Joy lives up to her name and is an absolute sweetie pie. She is a bit shy in the beginning but once she warms up to you she will cuddle and show affection in her own sweet way. I loved brushing and petting her softy silky fur coat. Stephanie and Dean are wonderful people that went out of their way to make my stay comfortable and easy. They were very responsive to any inquiries I had prior to the visit and available for questions during my stay. I give them a 6 out of 5 star rating!
It was wonderful to have the opportunity to look after Mango and Comet. They were an absolute pleasure to play with and care for. They were no trouble at all and made our stay a funny and cuddly one. We loved the house and would definitely stay again in the future to look after them if the timings worked out when needed.
We had a great stay at Carol's home caring for Roxy & Greco The house is large, modern and beautiful. The guest bedroom, with comfy bed has a balcony overlooking treetops and fields, it is really hard to believe that you are in Central London! less than ten minutes walking to the nearest tube station and a twenty-minute walk to the nearest supermarket. Carol was lovely throughout and we felt really welcome in her home. She was very friendly with excellent communication from the very start of booking us until the moment they returned from their holidays. Roxy the dog and Greco the cat are both adorable. Roxy is a super-friendly ball of energy - we had some really long walks that she loved. With a park on the doorstep and another a short walk away it was very easy to find off-road walking places. When home she is really well behaved and just likes to be lying calmly wherever you happen to be. Greco brings her own sense of calm to the household. She is wary of Roxy so tends to hang out upstairs or in the lower level of the house where Roxy does not go. Greco is also really friendly and will never say no to a belly rub. All in all an excellent sit that we would be more than happy to return to in the future if asked.
We spent 10 days at Madhura’s looking after Marmalady, Kaju, and Kalonji. The trio are good company and enjoy being around people. Marmalady is an absolute sweetheart and very affectionate. Taking her to the nearby vet’s for her daily feeding is no problem at all — even if she does like to vocally protest on the way there! Kaju and Kalonji do require a little watching over to ensure that they don’t fight. They’re very obedient though and altogether nice boys. The house is spacious and we had our own bedroom and bathroom. As is common in Thai homes, the kitchen is in an outdoor annex, which does make storing and cooking food a little more tricky than usual (we’re full time sitters and love to cook). However, there is an abundance of cheap places to eat within ten minutes’ walk at 89 Plaza. It is also very easy and reasonably priced to get a Grab into Chiang Mai’s charming old city and other surrounding areas. Madhura is very welcoming and really interesting to chat to. She very kindly allowed us to stay two extra nights before heading to our next sit. Thanks, Madhura!
I had a fabulous time sitting for Rock, Ella, & Miss Kitty. Conner & Joe's home was lovely and they provided everything needed for a great stay. The neighborhood was great place to walk the dogs, with cute homes, paved sidewalks, and friendly neighbors. If you walk North you can get some fabulous skyline views of downtown Seattle & the Space Needle. Rock & Ella were so fun and had such great personalities. Rock is so cheeky, he made me laugh everyday. They both are the perfect balance of energy for fun playtime and chill for cuddles and naps on the couch which made it a great sit if you work remotely or like to have some downtown to catch up on shows. Rock will monopolize your lap anytime you sit down, which I definitely did not mind. Miss Kitty was mostly aloof during my stay keeping to herself except when it was meal time! Although she kept to herself she was super friendly and enjoyed being pet & brushed when I would visit her "lair" on the lower level. For sitter's where sleep is important - don't worry the guest room has a comfy bed with great fluffy bedding and the only noise you might hear is Rock's gentle snore - he is a frenchie afterall! I would gladly sit for Ella, Rock, & Miss Kitty again and highly recommend this sit for anyone looking for a lovely home with sweet as can be pets!
