We absolutely loved this house sit. Kenny Cat is fantastically well behaved, fun, un-demanding & affectionate. Kenny is happy, confident & easily adjusted to our presence. Kenny quickly took to playing with us & his toys. He also snuggled with us on the couch, & exercised with Susanne in the yoga room. All our communications with Debbie were informative, encouraging, & welcoming. We both coordinated & altered travel plans to adjust for a terrible winter storm. The house is warm, cozy & comfortable with a fantastic guest bedroom, king size bed & private ensuite bathroom. We loved the large modern kitchen & enjoyed cooking our meals there. The country location is a hidden gem.
It was such a great experience caring for Watson and Rusty during our housesitting. Louise prepared everything so nicely, and we felt immediately at home. It was easy to communicate with Louise, and we received all the needed instructions to care for her home. It is very well maintained and very clean. Watson and Rusty captured our hearts with their playful personalities and attentiveness. They are always ready for cuddles. We really enjoyed our walks with beautiful trails in the neighborhood. We will miss Rusty and Watson and hope to come back in the future. We highly recommend Housesitting for Louise.
Olive, the beautiful flat coat retriever, is an absolute delight to sit, she's such a happy dog. During the whole week we were there I only heard her bark twice, she's really amazing. Olive loves to go on long walks on countryside footpaths and to play fetch, she's great off the leash, listens and has a good recall. My 8 year old son TJ got so many kisses and lots of love from Olive, they formed such a cute bond - she's great with kids. Olive is really easy dog to sit. The house is really nice, clean and cozy, my son and I loved it there. The bed is huge and so comfortable. The back yard is very nice and large, TJ and I were able to play fetch with Olive there too. Conservatory is absolutely beautiful and the fire in the fireplace in the evenings just added to the whole nice and cozy feel. The countryside is wonderful, walks were nice, peaceful and serene - we are in love with England's countryside. The owners Cath & Chris are just really amazing couple. Chris is such a wonderful and helpful gentlemen, and Cath is as equally wonderful and caring. I always say that it truly takes very special people that have open and huge heart when they take a mother with a special needs child to be their THS. That is exactly how Cath & Chris are wonderful human beings with huge and open heart. Thank you both for being so helpful and great to us. I totally recommend this sit - we would love to sit Olive again.
Emily and Tom are lovely people - they made us dinner the night before they left and introduced us to Sushi and the house. We had a great time with Sushi - she is a real character and very snuggly. We would love to house sit again!
