Danna was absolutely fabulous - our puppy was well-cared for, going on adventures in the area and visiting neighbors. With our home on the market, Danna had to prepare for two showings and did an outstanding job. Our home was neat and clean upon return. Danna's communications were appreciated as is her kindness.
We had a wonderful stay with Rocky and Rambo in Calvià! It was nice to meet Hilary, Ben and their girls, they were great and thoughtful hosts. Their home in the charming Calvià village in western Mallorca is very beautiful and comfy. Hilary provided a detailed welcome guide with all the needed information regarding the house-sit and also nice tips for things to see and do in the area. Rocky and Rambo are the sweetest dogs, such a charming pair! Rocky is young and energetic, and loves to fetch ball in the park. He was also a great companion for trail running up on the hills. Rambo enjoyed walks and just hanging around in the park. They both are very well-behaving and easy to take care of, very good boys indeed! We met with the family and the dogs on the previous day and went through the daily routines. Communication was easy during the whole sit. We can warmly recommend this sit and would love to go back ourselves some day!
It was wonderful to house sit for Anastasia and Yuri! They are both such kind and caring people and were very quick to respond if I ever had any questions. The cats are adorable and easy to care for, Jeeves loves cuddles while Wooster is a little more independent but still loves to play! Their apartment was lovely, well-kept, and clean. You would be very lucky to have a chance to sit for Anastasia and Yuri :)
Phil and Alice are wonderful hosts. Very responsive and helpful with questions. Suki is a dream dog, I fell in love with her instantly and we bonded quite a bit during our time together. It was a tearful good-bye as she was a wonderful companion and the sweetest dog ever. She loves long walks, is great with people and other dogs and easy to walk and care for. She is highly adaptable to your schedule and enjoys belly rubs and treats! She doesn't like fireworks or car rides so extra comfort is needed if either of those things happen. The house is very comfortable and I slept great the whole time I was there. The backyard is gorgeous, very private and a flowering paradise. The neighborhood is great and very close to many wonderful restaurants including the famous vegan hot spot Millennium which is just a short walk and a true culinary delight if you happen to go. I would definitely sit for Suki anytime.
We had a wonderful time looking after Indie & Alfie. Such different characters - we hardly saw Alfie who likes to lounge in bed all day, Indie much more affectionate and likes to follow you around - especially when food is in the offing! Janna & Tim's house is gorgeous - stylish, quiet and VERY VERY CLEAN. You have a lovely room to sleep in with a king size bed and en-suite. There is even an empty bathroom cabinet and wardrobe for your belongings. So often we have to live out of a suitcase on housesits, it makes a nice change to be able to unpack! Janna left a useful house manual on the table - this again, is a lovely touch, saves you having to log in and look information up on the welcome guide via TH each time. And we were also treated to a bottle of Prosecco and some local beer. If you go to Ludlow, the lunch deal at Mortimers is a steal and the Ludlow Brewery well worth a visit. You can also be striding out on the Shropshire Way just a short walk from the house. We very much hope to return - one of our nicest ever housesits. Thank you Janna & Tim.
We had a wonderful time housesitting for Mark and Jen. Sophie is a very sweet cat and she was both great company and very easy to look after. Mark and Jen were great at giving us all the information we needed and they provided some great recommendations for what to do in the area. We really enjoyed meeting them beforehand and they even took us out for dinner, which was a generous treat. We would more than happily housesit again.
