This was Shantoye’s third sit with my critters. She sends me photos and videos that show me how happy everyone is. My guinea pigs are spoiled when she is here! Shantoye is so thoughtful, flexible, and communicative. I can’t wait to have her back again!

Sherreme was a wonderful housesitter. She was very communicative while I was away and sent photos every day. The house was cleaner when I returned then it was when I left :). And Joey (my cat) was very happy and brushed. I would highly recommend Sherreme.

Lovely stay looking after Poppy. Poppy is a very happy and easy girl to look after. She is very good round the house and with other dogs and people. She does pull on the lead but this was explained to us beforehand. Nikki and Sas were very hospitable and communications were very clear, to help our stay in their lovely home. The neighbours were very friendly too and we enjoyed exploring a beautiful part of Devon. Thank you for choosing us, we would love to do it all again!

To fellow sitters.
Houston the Husky is a true Magnet he holds court where ever he goes. If you are happy to stop and chat and embrace the islands everyday life then this is definitely a sit for you. The Maltese people are very accommodating and welcome dogs which makes it very easy to visit places.
We think Ralph and Houston have found a marriage made in heaven of which they are willing to share.

We had a fabulous weekend looking after Cassie. Rob & Sophie made us feel very welcome. They have a beautiful comfortable home. Cassie is a very sweet gentle girl, she is a dream on her walks and quiet as a mouse at home. She does love some fuss and the occasional play with her toys. We would definitely recommend this sit.

Easter in Burgundy with a Westie and a cat! What's not to love. Lédon is the cutest dog with a loving personality and often a mind of his own. He tended to take US on walks that he preferred!! Violette came and went in her own time. She had a sore near the base of her tail (skin allergy?) but Sarah left us full instructions and potions to help her.
We had a fabulous two weeks amid the vineyards and rolling hills surrounding the quaint wine village of Santenay. The garden backs onto vineyards and views stretch in all directions. The tulips and daffodils in Sarah's garden were at their best. It rained a lot but it was much needed and didn't curtail visits to Beaune (20 mins away) and other stunning, historically interesting towns and villages. Of course there are endless places to taste world class wines (pricey but Sarah will guide you to places which are good value) and an abundance of excellent restaurants. Santenay itself has 3 restaurants.
The two pets were quite happy to be at home while we explored the area, as was Sarah. But a vineyard walk was always our priority and Lédon who began our stay quite white became browner and browner as the muddy days increased.
One can hire bikes locally and ride along canals and extensive 'voie verte' routes. The Santenay tourist office has abundant information and maps.
Sarah left us a comprehensive file of local information and many personal contacts such as the wine-maker across the road who would be happy to give us a tasting, her friends who owned the bistro in the village centre, the owner of the wine shop in the village who sells top wines at cellar prices etc. etc.. She couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming. Our stay began with a delicious home cooked meal at the house with Sarah who showed her former restaurateur expertise in the kitchen! Thank you for sharing your pets and your comfortable home Sarah. We hope our paths cross again.

Lotta
I loved staying in Lotta’s beautiful apartment and looking after sweet Bambi. Lotta was super organised, communicative, kind and accommodating. Bambi is an adorable, affectionate dog. She does sometimes get nervous around other dogs but this is completely manageable - you just have to distract her with a little bit of cooing and some treats - and the cuddles and love she gives you more than makes up for it. I would 100 per cent recommend this house sit to other people - a fantastic way to get a taste of living in Berlin.
