This was an AMAZING house sit! Meghan and Matt are SO nice and organized! They left detailed instructions and showed me where everything is and answered any questions I had. They are such an interesting couple with a lovely apartment! They were incredibly welcoming and SOOO sweet! Music EVERYWHERE... so nice! It a very quiet and comfortable apartment. I loved it so much and the neighborhood is very safe with EVERYTHING close by, including the subway. Honestly, I only left the apartment for longer than an hour 2 times. I became so attached to Arthur, Ralph, and especially Tomasz that I wanted to spend as much time with them as possible! Tomasz simply stole my heart! It was so easy to give him his medication and you would swear that he is a kitten trapped in the body of an older cat. My absolute favorite thing ever was waking up with Tomasz sitting right on my face! I'm a super heavy sleeper so I wouldn't notice it until I woke up. He's so sweet! Biggest, sweetest, most charismatic personality ever! I miss him every day as well as Arthur and Ralph, who are also incredibly adorable! I love those cats so much! I didn't get to sit for Nathan as he went with Nathan and Meghan but I did meet him and he is terribly sweet as well! They just love having people around and made me feel so welcome as did their humans :) I cannot recommend this house sit enough! I would sit for Meghan and Matt any day!
Skussi the dog was so much fun, big personality. I loved the area, because I could walk the dog to open space around the corner. He was well behaved while I took him everywhere with me.. Very comfortable home in gorgeous Montana.
Rosy and Coco are the sweetest funniest dogs , seriously they really melted my heart. Coco for being very naughty but also hugely affectionate, Rosy is the most laid back dog I've ever met, she's beautiful. Both great when out walkies and they got on wonderfully well with my Poppy Eleanor was so easy to make contact with, and their home is very beauitful, lovely garden and everything was perfect. Location also fantastic especially if you don't drive as Summertown is a stones throw away and buses every 10 mins into Oxford I was actually crying on the morning of leaving as these two wee treasures really got under my skin I totally adore them as did my Poppy
Cherese and Fred’s Olympia oasis was so relaxing and peaceful. We completed the sit during the summer for almost a month and they took Moby, their dog, with them, so we tended to all of the plant (both indoor and outdoor) and bird care. They were very communicative about the tasks they wanted done and how to do them, as some of the plants have special feeding requirements. It was lovely meeting them for dinner the night before they left and learning the ins and outs of their home and the care we’d be providing. They were quick to reply to any questions we had. If you are sitting for them during garden care months, it’s probably helpful to have some knowledge of gardening or yard care (or at least a love for it) as it’s clear they take great pride in their backyard oasis and we wanted to make sure we could maintain that level of care while we were there. The guest bed was very comfy! The kitchen had everything you could ask for to cook to your heart’s content. We especially enjoyed having a campfire outback and stargazing at night. This would be a great Housesit for a green thumb, a nature lover, or a gourmet home chef!
