David and Elynn are lovely people and have a lovely family. We really liked their communication style at the beginning and trusted them to stay at our house for almost 3 weeks. Unfortunate, things did not go as we expected during their stay (we didn’t receive as many pictures and updates as we requested) but mainly upon returning. We have issues with broken and damaged items at the home (the majority that were not communicated to us), finding our back door open and parts of the house were not at all cleaned and organized to its original state. Unfortunately we don’t think they took care of our house as they should have and were perhaps unprepared for the level of commitment it takes to house sit and pet sit for that amount of time.
We had a fabulous time on this sit. Frank was very easy to care for and Lucy's home was gorgeous and spacious. We could not have been more comfortable and the instructions left told us everything we needed to know. Anyone would be very lucky to house sit for Lucy and look after Frank!
We had a wonderful time looking after and being with little Ziggy. Adorable comes to mind. He’s truly a sweetie. Plus well mannered, well trained, and a lot of fun. We couldn’t have been more comfortable being in Molly and Alex’s home, and so appreciated their kindness and trust. The location is super convenient, for both local walking/shopping and freeway access. The neighborhood is friendly and oh-so-green, with an abundance of beautiful, mature trees. Perfect for short walks, long walks in all directions (N,S,E,W) — and with a nice mini-park less than a few hundred steps away. Ziggy may steal you heart, as he did ours. But he will give you all of his in return.
Maya is a wonderful dog with a gentle and cheerful character. She is very well-behaved and easy to manage. The routine with Maya is simple, and she is extremely fun, affectionate, and grateful. She is truly an incredible dog, and it has been a pleasure to take care of her. Corina and Alec were very communicative and kind throughout the process. They made everything very easy and pleasant. The apartment is lovely and comfortable, well-located, and full of natural light. I really enjoyed my stay there. In summary, highly recommended.
We had a great time with Raka who is a bit timid at first but opens up slowly when she knows she can trust you and if you just let her do it at her own pace. She was actually really sweet and loves to play chasing the laser. She also loves treats! The house is located in a quiet and pretty green location. It has a large balcony which was great to spend the evening on. The whole house is very comfortable. The girls were kind enough to let us use their bicycles and we were able to see the surrounding areas easily. They were both very fast in communication, understanding and kind. We made a huge mistake on the very first day and forgot the key to their flat and we had to get people to open it for us - it was a disaster on our part but they were both so understanding and we were just so great full for that. We felt terribly but they really didn’t make a big deal out of something that was a big deal actually. But for future sitters… don’t forget the key and lock yourself out! ;) We would recommend this housesit to anyone if you can be libelling and patient with cats. We felt it was a big reward when Raka opened up to us and she was so warm and loving.
What a nice sit. Rocky and Gracie are very sweet dogs and I enjoyed hanging out with them very much. Stephanie and Larry's home is very nice and has all of the conveniences you could want while staying in one of Marin Counties' most desirable neighborhoods to live. I definitely recommend it.
I really enjoyed my stay with Giovedi. The house is beautiful, comfortable and warm; very well located. Giovedi has been a lovely companion during those days.
