Julie
Julie's place truly lives up to it's name - a quiet paradise. We stayed for a little over 2 months and savored every moment. The house itself has lots of character - we got to learn more about this unique farmhouse built in the 1800s. The kitchen was well stocked as we ate every meal at home, the bedrooms were cozy and spacious, and the wifi was reliable for working remote. We enjoyed daily walks through the trails behind the house and near the babbling brook. We saw so many deer in and around the property!

The 3 kitties are each one of a kind. Mattie girl loved being held and snuggling on the couch. Malcolm is the puppy dog of the 3! He loves tagging along for walks around the property and is always right under your feet. Paolo is the adventure boy, always out and about, sometimes even bringing back surprises from his hunts. All three are super affectionate and warmed up to us so quickly.

Julie's brother Jeff lives nearby and became a great help and friend. He regularly checked in on us and was there if we needed anything. He taught us to use the riding mower to cut the lawn and how to work the wood pellet stove! We were so grateful to have him nearby!

Hamilton is a sweet, quaint town that we grew to love. We enjoyed the cafe Flour & Salt and made great friends at Village Clay Pottery studio.

This stay was perfect for nature lovers, remote workers, and anyone looking for rest and retreat.

Arnor
Leah and Arnor were gracious hosts that have a beautiful home in a lovely section of Pasadena. They met us the morning of our sit and carefully went over everything we needed to know about their house and their dogs. They kept in contact with us throughout the sit making sure we were comfortable and everything was going well. They also have two amazing dogs, Maggie and April. They won our hearts easily. Maggie will follow you around like a puppy and loves cuddling with you. We nicknamed her "Mag-Pipes". April is also very endearing. She loves to play and will entertain you with her antics. They play really well together and if you are lucky enough to do do a sit for them they will win you over quickly. We are still missing the two of them and we would definitely sit for them again.

Kelly
Staying at Bev and Kelly's house was an absolute pleasure. From the very beginning, they were super communicative and flexible with our travel plans. They have a gorgeous apartment, super well-located two blocks from the Castro Muni station and all the entertainment and food options that go with it. But the best part about our stay was definitely having the chance to hang out with Jack and Sammie. They are both really sweet dogs with playful and loving personalities. They were a breeze to walk, easy to look after in general, and it was a pleasure to keep them company while we worked from home. Highly recommended for an authentic, welcoming experience in San Francisco!

Varina
Varina has a lovely, cozy home! The apartment is very sunny and comfortable, with access to a sweet gated courtyard. On cold days it was nice to light the fireplace and relax on the comfy sofa. The location is fantastic - super walkable with easy buses down to the beach.

I never received the welcome guide which meant I struggled to figure a few things out (they have an unusual shower), but I believe we have resolved the technical difficulty there now so it shouldn't be an issue for future sitters.

Five pets sounds like a lot, but the cats were pretty chill. Most of them do their own thing - Lex and Sushi were usually off somewhere else in the house, Zoe liked to sit nearby, and little Alex was the snuggliest. The care routine for them is pretty simple, as they share only two litters and have automatic dry food.

The dog, Angel, got very anxious towards the end of my stay, which made her care a lot more involved. She wanted constant reassurance when I was home, and barked in the middle of the night a few times during my stay, which is never fun. For me, that constant anxious energy made relaxing in the house difficult, but if you've cared for similar dogs before you might not mind!

Elizabeth
My partner and I had a lovely stay at Elizabeth's quaint, comfortable cottage with Sablay the dog and Moonshadow the cat. Both animals are loving and have enjoyable playful personalities. They were a joy to care for.

Elizabeth was fast to respond to communication and welcomed us like old friends. She was a pleasure to sit for. Her lodger is a really nice guy although he wasn't there much.

We loved Perranporth which had a fantastic beach, amazing walks, a good selection of shops all not far away.

This was a lovely sit and I would recommend Elizabeth and her furry friends as a place to stay if available.

Landi
I met with Landi prior to the sit just to make sure all was well and to meet Wally, the king of the bunch. He's a big old sweetheart and although I didn't walk him, he loved lounging in his yard and keeping watch. The house and the yard are lovely. Stormfly is very energetic but did just fine on a walk and would bring toys to play with. I only interacted or saw four of the cats, but Sir Purrsalot was super sweet and the most affectionate to me. I would definitely sit for Landi and her zoo again!
