Nadiya and Tim arrived as Housesitters and left as friends! As it was my first time having Housesitters in my house to take care of my animals I was quiet nervous at the beginning! All started with a recommendation from a friend! And there it was, the mail from Tim and Nadiya! Super lovely written I was immediately excited to meet both via a video call! Both are very open hearted and nice! As they both were very flexible with dates and arrival we quickly found a date and the sitting was confirmed! They arrived as agreed! It felt like seeing old friends again! Even my cats were cool and relaxed from the very first moment! As one of my cats needs daily medication I was a bit worried, but for no reason! I left for my holidays as relaxed as I could be! An daily Update and photos reached me during the days!! I felt my cats were in good hands every second. When I returned home the house was super clean, all cats happy and Nadiya and Tim had a very lovely meal prepared for me! All in all zeewoi and especially Nadiya and Tim were far beyond my expectations! All the best for your future housesittings and we will see each other soon, somewhere on this planet! Clarise and Alex were brilliant housesitters. A truly genuine, compassionate couple who clearly really loved our dogs and gave them all the attention they needed. They were really friendly and fantastic with the dogs, meeting the needs of our youngest who is very energetic and our oldest, who's a bit of a prima donna! Their communication was excellent, sending us lots of photos and videos of our precious pair and they looked after the house for us very well. We very much hope to have them sit again in the future. Five stars all round.
This was our first time using this site and we were a bit skeptical about trusting our home, and more importantly our beloved pups, to someone we did not know. We are a merged dog family (a male Vizsla and a male and a female Golden Retriever). Our two male dogs prior to being neutered had some major trouble being in each other's company. Although we haven't had any issues in the past year or so, we knew we needed to find someone who was seriously in tune with dogs and their personalities, and could handle any issues that might arise. When we received Rebecca's application we were so excited (someone actually wanted to stay in our house AND she had significant dog experience). Lucky for us she only lived a couple hours away so she offered to come down for a visit to meet the "crew" prior to the sit. We were aware that she would want her pup Nikki to stay with her while we were away, and since Nikki was a female, we were willing to give it a try. Our dogs adored Nikki and Rebecca from the start! Once the dog and people greetings were out of the way, the playing commenced. We discussed with Rebecca our concerns with the two male (now neutered) dogs, and she had no qualms over any temperamental issues with our dogs. Rebecca has such an easy, but no nonsense way about her our fears were laid to rest and within less than an hour we knew we had our house/dog sitter! It was obvious to us that Rebecca genuinely cares for dogs, showering them with attention and love. Every day we received photos and videos of the four dogs in their orange vests (we live on acreage that is sometimes used for hunting) out on their walks and playing. She even let our Vizsla sleep under the covers with her! Nikki clearly had found "furever" friends. The videos of her playing with our pups just warmed our hearts. Also, Rebecca was very respectful of our house and left it cleaner than it was when we left! All in all, we are darn lucky to have found Rebecca. Our dogs clearly felt the same way as they jumped in her car with her when she ready to leave us. We hope Rebecca is available for our future dog sitting needs--I have already requested her for this coming week! As I write this I realize I may be shooting myself in the foot by recommending her so highly (she will get booked and not available for us!), but she truly deserves it.
