We love Dan’s Pet service as do our pets! We have 2 labradoodles and a tuxedo cat. We have used Dan’s for a couple of years now for overnights, walks, feeding, medicine dispensing, as well as rides to the groomer. The walkers and sitters always send us the cutest photos and sweet updates on how they are doing while we are gone. It gives us peace of mind that our animals are being cared for as we would care for them. They always respond and are even available last minute. Dan’s is a pleasure to work with and we are grateful for their care and services!

I first started using Dan's Pet Care when I had surgery and was unable to walk my dog. It was unexpected surgery so I had to get help quickly. They were very accommodating. They were very professional - on time, very good with him, and tired him out! Since then I have been receiving their emails about their services and gain valuable dog care tips along the way! For example, how they limit their walks when it is excruciatingly hot outside. When the time came for me to find help while I went to work, I knew where I wanted to bring my now 2 pups! They had opened their crate free boarding & day care facility! And even though I do not live close by, it is 100% worth the investment and travel time. They have multiple team members with all eyes on the dogs. The facility is set up so they have tons of room to run and play. It is super clean. They are upfront and honest about everything going on in their facility and well organized. I have also boarded my dogs overnight there. They were snuggled up on a bed! Looked like a slumber party! They pay attention to detail with every dog. One of my dogs has a lot of allergies and I don't have to worry about her getting into anything she shouldn't and don't have to worry about them giving her anything she shouldn't have either. The best part is how excited and loving everyone there is and how excited my pups are to spend time there! I get daily report cards and pictures which further adds to my peace of mind. They listen to my requests and get to know my girls. I recently had Dan's while I was away for the weekend and I felt comfortable and reassured that they were in great hands. It made my trip that much more relaxing and enjoyable. Glen Cove has a real treasure here.

When traveling or away for the day, we've relied on Dan's to walk, feed, play with and visit our two dogs, a lab and a multipoo. One staff member is kinder and more professional than the next, and the dogs are treated like THEIR family members. We've done several overnights, all of which have been great. We especially love the app, which allows us to easily make appointments and receive detailed updates about the visits with our dogs. They even include photos. We never have a worry when someone from Dan's is with our dogs. And, they treat our home with respect and care. This is one of my favorite businesses of all time!

We brought our 1.5 year old Doberman here for boarding for the 1st time..safe to say she had an absolute blast!!! She is completely exhausted after her stay, we loved the updated pictures and reports cards daily. We will definitely be back for day care, events, and boarding when necessary. Highly recommend especially for people with big breed dogs, they handled it with ease. ❤️

Dan's Daycare is no joke THE BEST place for your fur babies! Me and my boyfriend have tried every sitter, every daycare, and nothing compares to Dan's! We have a European Doberman and it's been hard to find a daycare and boarding center that ACTUALLY know what they are doing! Everyone at Dan's knows what they are doing, SO reliable, and treat your dog like their own. I can't say enough amazing things! BIG BENEFIT: Daily report cards with all the cutest photos taken from the day! I mean common! They did a Hawaiian Luau and just look how adorable

Dans Pet Care is amazing! I’ve done boarding and doggie day care. My pup has a lot of energy and is crate trained so I was worried about the crate free boarding but they went through everything with me and he did great. Everyday whether it’s daycare or boarding I would get a report. The last time I boarded him they gave him a bath and he smelled amazing for a month! They are also magicians because on the luau day they got him in a Hawaiian shirt, I don’t know how but they did and he sat still for the pic. It was amazing! He loves their kiddie pools & the entire staff is so excited to see him everytime he comes. He can be a lot sometimes with his high energy and he fits right in with all the other pups. I’m so grateful for the entire team at Dans Pet Care.

After having a very bad experience at Dogtopia with my poor baby Max, I can say I found the perfect place. Max now is happy going to his half-days and little by little his super fear and nervousness is changing. 🙏Joe has provided a lot of help for Max and more than thinking about money he thinks about the well-being of my dog and we are following his recommendations so that Max enjoys his play time- half days at Dan's petcare and Soon I know that Max will be ready to spend a full day playing, Julia in front desk is very special with puppys too I love her ☺️All the staff are very friendly and loving with the puppies, I love receiving the report cards and photos of the day, ☺️ thank you everyone!

Dan’s team is fantastic. They’re beyond so friendly and so good to our dog, Beau. He always comes out with a big smile! I think his favorite part is the outdoor area with sprinklers : ) We were so grateful that they toured us around the facility before Beau’s first day and love the daily report cards too.

We can’t say enough good things about Dan’s. The staff are friendly and helpful, the facility is spotless, and they’ve really gone the extra mile for the dogs — pools, luaus, smoothies… the list goes on. :) We’ve been so thrilled with Dan’s but, this weekend, they went WAY above and beyond. Our dog needed medical treatment while boarding. Dan took her to our local vet, got her started with antibiotics, and even offered to take her to his house for the night, so she’d been more comfortable and he could keep an eye. We got updates from Dan and the vet, and our dog is doing great. The takeaway: this crew really, REALLY cares. Dan loves dogs and it shows. And at the end of the day, that’s who you want caring for your pets. We’re so happy to have found Dan’s. I couldn’t recommend anyone or any business more highly. Thank you, Dan and team. Since day 1, the staff at Dan’s Pet Care in Glen Cove have been nothing but welcoming & friendly. My pup was greeted with open arms & so much love. Drop off is available at 7 am which is a HUGE help with my work schedule. Late pickup is also available if needed. The process started off sending my pup to a temperament test to see where she would be best during the day. Then once passed, she was okayed to go to day care! The dogs are separated based on size. There’s also an outdoor area for when the nice days come around. Mid-day, you get a report card of how your pup is doing and you also get some pictures! Any special needs, the staff takes into consideration. The staff really seems to really care about each individual dog which makes me feel more than comfortable to send her there. Once she came home, she immediately curled up in her bed & took a nap, she was exhausted from a long day of playing! Will absolutely take advantage of all the great things Dan’s Pet Care has to offer!

Michelle and her mother are fantastic dog sitters! They take such great care of Simba, always making sure he’s well-loved and happy. From walks to playtime, they understand exactly what he needs and keep him entertained. Simba always comes home relaxed and content after staying with them. I found Michelle and her mom after my dogs daycare closed down. I can’t express how incredible they are!!! I have crazy schedule and they are always extra accommodating. My dogs love going there. Whether is for few hours, full days or for extended periods they ensure my babies are taken care of. You see the love they have for my babies. I definitely recommend them to anyone. If I need to drop them at 6am they are available. If I am running late they are available. Going on vacation they are available!!! They are super dog lovers!!

Had a horrible experience with these people. Left my dogs there for 3 days they called me 6am the first morning to come get the dogs because he was barking and they couldn’t sleep. The person I met was not the person who watched the dogs. My dog doesn’t bark so there was something wrong and making him uncomfortable. Either way the person who contacted me in the morning telling me I had to come get them was extremely rude and nasty. Don’t ever trust these people with your dogs. There are plenty of responsible dog sitters out there. Stay away from these people.

Michelle was great, our dog loved being there. She was very accommodating with everything and our dog Jack enjoyed his stay with her and her family.

Michelle has taken care of my dog Max for over a year now. He adores Michelle and her whole family. She always updates me regularly when he's in her home and he comes home happy. She is very prompt in her responses and makes sure to message me back right away, which is very important and a major reason I feel comfortable with her as my dog sitter. Michelle has taken care of both my dogs Pepper and Stacy for over two weeks and I cannot feel more happy with her services. She has informed me daily on their progress and how they are doing and honestly this is the first time that they were left home alone so I was very skeptical but in her care I never had to worry about anything! I definitely recommend her services to everyone and I will see her in a couple of weeks!

Our pup Monty had a great time with Michelle! She was very sweet with our girl from the beginning and made us feel totally at ease. Monty surely has no critiques except to probably stay longer. I would have loved some more picture updates as it was our first time really leaving her but Michelle was so flexible and communicated a lot over text which was greatly appreciated. Can’t wait for her next stay!

My husband and I dropped our dogs off with Michelle for a weekend. She was very polite, responsible and professional. She kept us updated on their walks and playtime’s and sent us pictures! I would highly recommend. It’s nice knowing that your pups are in good hands while your away. We will def use her services again :)

Lucille was great! This was my first time using her. She took care of my german shepherd Raven for two nights and was very caring. She provided medication for Raven because she had a heart condition. She kept us posted by sending us photos daily. I would definitely use her next time. Jimmy

Pawsitive Pet Care took care of my dog Scooby fed him, walked him and kept him for boarding over a weekend with no issues. Lucille was a pleasure to be in contact with and kept in communication with daily texts and photos each day of Scoobys activities. Highly reccomded and I will certainly be using her again for the future.

My dogs have been long time boarders starting from 2019. I am a helicopter mommy with my two babies. They are well cared for and happy when I drop them and when I pick them up from their stay. I live over an hour away and will not leave them with anyone else.

PW animal daycare is wonderful. Because of mine and my partners work schedules we would bring our puppy to her three times a week. He was always so happy to go! Every time we would drive by the facility he would get so excited thinking he was going there. Everyone that works there is incredible! Selma herself is the best! No matter what time or how short notice, she always managed to become available to us. We have left Oakley over night with her multiple times and she cared for him like he was her own. She even cooked him stew one night! We got into a car accident once, while Oakley was at the center. Without us even having to ask she offered to drive him to my families home so that we could focus on the accident. Even though we moved too far to use her services weekly I will still always go to her for boarding and special occasions. She’s the only one I trust.

My puppy started with Port Washington Day Care 3 months ago. She was was 7 months old, very attached to me and I was a nervous mama sending her off. Before sending Aisling, I spoke with Selma for 30 minutes, asking questions and making sure this was the right fit for Aisling ... and for ME!!! She assured me that my little girl would be well taken care of .... and that has been proven! The center opens early, so I drop Aisling off before work and they drive her home! She gets home, eats her dinner, and goes to bed for the night. The next morning, she jumps in the car and waits eagerly at the door of the center. I couldn’t ask for anything more!! Selma and Dalila post pictures all day of the puppies in the center, the training sessions, the puppies riding in the car, playing at the dog park and out walking! I have told Selma and Dalila over and over how lucky I am to have found them because they love my little girl just as much as I do. Thank you!!!

Amazing staff, very accommodating and reasonable pricing. Clean facility. The staff are passionate and reliable. I couldn't ask for a better facility. My dog boards with them and uses the daycare facility. I have a peace of mind when I live my dog there.

Sent our puppy there for a week. He lost 8lbs and came home with his ribs sticking out. Owner tried to blame dog! Stay away!

House of the Woofers is the most pawsome place in the universe. I have been going there since I was a pup and it is always great fun. My mom says it’s the only daycare that she trusts. I really like climbing on the playset, seeing my friends and getting belly rubs. I don’t like leaving playtime to get my nails cut but my mom says it’s for my health and I do always feel better after a pedicure. My mom really likes watching their Instagram stories and seeing pictures of me with my friends. Sometimes if my mom is working late, they’ll even drive me home in the pet taxi. I’m really excited to show off my costume at the Halloween party in a few weeks. If your a dog thinking about daycare, this is the spot. Other than the couch, this is paws down, my favorite place! 🐾

We left our dog here for 2 weeks and did not have one worry. Matteo loves being there more than anything, as long as they have the blue ball that he loves! We would recommend House of Woofers to everyone!

I brought Baba for the first time to do a meet & greet with other dogs for when we need daycare services. The staff were kind and professional- you can tell that they love the dogs. They asked excellent questions about Baba and introduced each dog he met with info about its personality, carefully noting how they interacted. Dao asked many questions about what I wanted done for Baba- very specificly because she wanted to make sure she understood exactly what to do. She groomed Baba perfectly and wanted to make sure that I was happy with the results before we left. She also noted specific things that I should know - like a small irritation he had and explained exactly which services were performed. I was very impressed- a lot of people had recommended this place and they were right!

House of the Woofers is the easiest choice we've made in regards to our puppy. The owner of the business is incredibly knowledgeable about all things dog. He also knows the dogs that he cares for - their personalities, their health issues - as if the dogs were his own. From our first experience "meeting" the other puppies, to our continued daycare and boarding at Woofers, everything has been easy and reasonably priced. Most importantly, I also know that our pup is safe and well-cared for. She LOVES going to Woofers. I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for doggy daycare, boarding, or grooming.

I can’t be anymore happy with House Of Woofers!!!! We rescued our Dog Daisy 4 1/2 years ago - she was 8 and now she is 12 1/2- we were never able to go anywhere always needed our kids to come back home to take care of her she never trusted or was friendly with new people!!! But then we met Alan - after talking on the phone and explaining our situation he made a visit to the house to see Daisy!!! After trying to come into the house to meet her she was not having it - so we did the meet outside went for a walk with her / along the way we switched the leash to have Alan handle her and she immediately trusted and loved him!!! He was able to handle her , feed her , play and even enter the home!!! Truly amazed we were how Daisy took to him and his gentle nature!!! Alan also had 2 of his workers come also to meet Daisy and proceeded same way to meet her outside - go for a walk switch the leash and the rest is history !! We can’t thank Hector and Dennis enough for taking care of Our sweet girl!!!! It’s not easy to come into a home where a dog is sooo protective but they all made it happen and we’ve gone from not being able to really go anywhere for long periods of time to being able to enjoy a few nights away knowing that Daisy was in great hands!!! Updates for each walk and time spent are recorded on the App along with pictures and videos so we can see how she is doing and if any concerns come up Alan will call us just to be sure all is great!!!! We are truly grateful to Alan and his crew for making dog parenting a bit easier!!!!

Hounds Town is one of the best places to bring your dog for boarding or day care. They treated my boy Hobi (brown/white Beagle) like family while I was away for a week. Hobi looked so happy with the other dogs, and I know he was given lots of love while my family and I were away. There was an outbreak of Kennel Cough when he was there, but he was already vaccinated and caught a minor case of it. Overall, I love Hounds Town and I will definitely come again when I need to board Hobi or bring him to day care!

Our dog is considered one of the family so leaving him in a safe and trustworthy environment is of the utmost importance when go on vacation. Our dog (StanLee) is always excited to go to Hounds Town Garden City and the tell-tale sign he has a great time is he is exhausted when we pick him up. One nice personal touch that we get from Hounds Town Garden City is at they post pictures on their private Facebook page. We look forward to see him playing with his new canine friends. We typically see him playing and having a great time while burning some energy. However, we do see him up to some mischief with his hound friends (see the pictures below). We thoroughly enjoy the service we receive at Hounds Town Garden City and highly recommend them.

Great place that treats our four legged friends wonderful. They share photos of the dogs interacting with each other which lessens any stress about leaving them. I highly recommend them for day care or boarding.

Colleen, Lauren and the entire staff at Hounds Town do everything possible to make your dog feel at home, which allows families to have piece of mind when they're away. The facility is bright, clean and nicely decorated. They separate the dogs during playtime by size and take so many great pics of them together. When you're part of their FB group, you can see the photos of your fur baby having fun, which always brings a smile to your face. You have the option for an exit bath or spa treatment, which is great after a stay with lots of play. When our pup turned 2, we couldn't believe Hounds Town put up a sign, balloons, gave him a birthday crown and took pictures. How special!! The staff loves dogs and it's evident the minute you walk in the door and they see your fur baby. They are responsive, answer all of your questions and make you feel at ease. Many people in our town go to Hounds Town because of their incredible reputation. I highly recommended booking a stay or day care for your furry family friend! You can even schedule a 15 minute meet and greet prior to.

Staff are very welcoming to you and your dog. You know he is in safe hands and will be looked after. Sincere and kind o your dogs needs and to the owner. They have a excellent knowledge of a dog's behavior, which helps so much. Bailey loves going to play and knows he is safe, I know this too. They are exceptional! Best Ever!

Our baby beagles love going to hounds town twice a week! We love that they rotate the doggies so they have someone new to play with every so often. They get to go outside to get fresh air and sunshine. They are very tolerant of me calling on lunch to ask about my babies. Lastly we LOVE that they post pictures of the pups everyday so we know that they have a great time.

The employees here are truly amazing! They treat your dog as if they are their own and it means so much! My dog is pretty attached to me, but when he gets to daycare, he runs in and doesn’t look back! Because of Houndstown, he is great in social environments with other dogs! Colleen, Sarah, Lauryn and Erin (as well as all the staff) are so good to my boy. There’s no greater comfort than knowing he is good while his momma works! Mr. Cooper loves hanging out with all his friends. I can’t thank the staff at HT enough for providing such a special place for my guy!

This was the best doggy day care ever!! My 10 month old puppy Lilo had the time of her life and was exhausted! Workers were so kind and caring about the dogs! She was there for 9 hours and got a little report card when I came to pick her up.

I had to leave my dog with hounds town garden city for an extended time frame. The staff took such good care of my dog for the many weeks he was there. He came back to me beautiful and happy, Barney loves the staff at HTGC. The boarding and day care are great. The people that work there are kind and attentive. I will continue to bring my dog to them. I trust them with him very much. I did not have to worry at all about my dog while he was there, I knew he was in good hands! Best place .

I don’t have enough great things to say about HTGC and the staff there! Our American Bulldog, Scott has been attending Hounds Town for the last few months for daycare and boarding and has truly found a safe and loving place to spend his time. Scott entered Hounds Town a SUPER anxious and shy pup and has flourished into a confident, happy, and social dog. No words can describe how sweet, supportive, and PATIENT the staff have been to our sweet Scott. They go above and beyond to accommodate all of his needs no matter how big or small the request. Not only did they provide him with a safe space, they provided him with SO much love as well! All the staff has been responsive and fantastic with communication as well whenever we are away!!

Noelle's Luxury Pet Service was absolutely incredible with my puppy! From start to finish, the care and attention she provided were top-notch. Noelle was so wonderful with my rescue dog Laci. She made her feel at home by taking such great care of her for 10 days. She sent lots of amazing pictures that she sent almost every day. She was flexible with drop off and pick up. Highly recommend!

There’s being a dog sitter as a job and there is being a dog sitter as a passion and Noelle is the latter. Noelle’s reasons in why she started this business is heartfelt and relatable to every pet owner and she treated our shih-tzu and yorkie like her own. In the five days in being away, Noelle kept constant communication and documented their time with so many great photographs and videos. With trips to the beaches and parks, not once was I left wondering if my dogs were ok. There is no other person who can provide the amazing service and care like Noelle can. Mochi and Toto’s time with Noelle was a complete vacation for them! Thank you for giving our family a peace of mind and friendship.

Noelle is simply the best. She is the only dog sitter we use for our dog and he get so excited when he sees her. She sends videos and pictures through the day and he always looks so so happy. She’ll even bring dogs over to our house to play with Luka and it makes his day. We love Noelle!

Oliver stayed with Noelle for about a week while I was in Belize. She did an excellent job and Oliver came back even happier than when he left. He is a high energy breed and i worried about leaving him because of his energy, but noelle sent photos throughout his stay that made me feel at ease. Truly an incredible experience for him and for me as well.

This is our first puppy so the kids were a little nervous for a stranger to have it and take care of it but from the moment we all met her all of our doubts disappeared!!! We knew this was who we wanted maverick to be with when we left on our vacation ! We will definitely be returning customers! Noelle went above and beyond. I was extremely nervous as this was the first time leaving our baby. I did a lot of research and felt discouraged until I came across Noelle. From the first phone call I felt a huge sense of comfort and love for what she does. We had a great chat, followed by a meet and greet. I appreciated that Noelle wasn’t just going to take our money - it was very clear that this had to feel good and right for our pup, us and her. Our pup stayed with Noelle for 3 and a half days. While we were away Noelle kept us updated with notes and pics to let us know how she was doing♥️ We felt comfortable knowing our pup was happy, safe and having the best time. To take our pup’s experience over the top - Noelle throw a birthday party for our pup as it was her 1st birthday during her stay. This is the beginning of a long amazing relationship for all of us, our pup can’t wait to go back to see Noelle and her furry friends!!! I have a two-year-old Hava Poo That has major separation anxiety. Our Buddy cannot be left alone. We were going out of the country for 2 weeks and I was very nervous about leaving him. ARI was a God send. Buddy fell in love with Ari. He is a dog whisperer! He's kind, reliable and an amazing caregiver. I highly highly recommend him and he made our Trip possible without any hesitation I highly recommend Ari and we think of him as family!

It was our first time being away from our puppy since the day we got him, and they made us and my dog feel reassured about leaving each other. We left for vacation for a little more than a week. They are amazing at what they do. They fed him well, gave him his medications and took great care with him. The daily photos and videos made us feel less guilty about leaving the dog because he looks so happy with them and looks like he was having so much fun. I will definitely leave him again the next time I need, and will recommend to others.

We could not be more pleased with our experience boarding our pup for 2 weeks with Emily & Alan. From the start we were reassured that she would be in good hands. Alan and Emily are absolutely amazing! If I can give 10 stars I would! I reached out to the them to board my 7 month mini golden doodle for 2 nights while my family and I went on a little getaway. They were extremely sweet and were able to care for him. Our puppy has never stood away from home, never attended any day care or boarding. They were so welcoming and made him feel at home from the very start of introduction. Alan and Emily did a Video call assessment and a walk through of their lovely home, they were extremely thorough in explaining the process and made me feel very comfortable leaving my puppy in a safe environment. They asked questions regarding his vaccination records and sent history documentation forms via email to complete prior to our call as well as answered all of my questions and concerns with ease. I received photos, videos and updates throughout my time away and my puppy did GREAT! He was so comfortable and transitioned very well, it was amazing to see him socializing with everyone and the other dogs in the home. Communication, Professionalism and all the the above was outstanding. They were both an absolute pleasure and are definitely a keeper!

We are very pleased to have had our puppy Rocky been left with Emily and her family. I know that he was taken care of well and enjoyed his stay by the updates and pictures which were sent to us. Emily and Alan provided great care to our pup Chase while we are away. We received daily photos, seeing that Chase was having fun times with his furry friends brought more joy and relaxation to our vacation. They went above and beyond when our return flight was delayed til late at night, they stayed up late to bring Chase back to us when we finally arrived home. I would recommend them to all pet owners, I’ve asked them to care Chase many times in the past, always had great communication and great services from them.

A THOUSAND STARS!!!!! ☆☆☆☆☆ We LOVE Wet Noses for our rescue dog. We have been using their services for the past 3 years and cannot say enough wonderful things about Alan, Emily (and their whole family)-- they have been such a life saver for us and our pupper-- who tends to have some separation anxiety and would NOT do well in a kennel overnight. They have always been consistent/reliable, easy communication, and so kind/warm/understanding with our dog and her quirks. It's such a relief to know she is in good hands and in a safe/cozy environment when we are out of town.

Before meeting Alan and his family, leaving for a vacation was stressful because we worried about leaving our pup Zeppole for even one night. We can now go way and not worry! She is so well taken care of and comes home so happy! We love the daily updates and pictures. And we love how warm the whole family is...they make Zeppole feel totally at home. ***Update*** 5/2023 - a year later and still relying on Wet Noses to keep my pup when we are away. Alan and Emily are the absolute best! Remi is my first pet ever, and I’m nervous about whether or not I’m making the right decisions for him all the time, but I feel completely safe and reassured by Alan and Emily every time I leave Remi in their care. I know that Remi is always well taken care of and that he’s having fun with his friends at daycare. I’ve also left Remi with Alan and Emily overnight on multiple occasions, and I never have to worry because they constantly update me with photos and videos. They are very attentive to his needs and preferences — I feel like they even know him better than I do sometimes! Also, Alan and Emily are extremely warm and flexible; they always try to accommodate my needs in terms of scheduling. I appreciate them to the max and recommend them 120%!

For two weeks at Wet Noses Pet Sitter, Alan & Emily cared with love and dedication for our beloved Dachshund-Canela; during this time the little sausage felt better than in her own home. She was always accompanied by friends of the same size as her, and under the supervision of a responsible adult, who daily provided photos and videos of our furry. BTW in the pictures she’s the little pumpkin.
