I had the pleasure of staying at Melanie & Stephen’s beautiful home, where I had the responsibility of taking care of Croix, Thomas, and the fish. Throughout my stay, Melanie proved to be an exceptional host. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. From the moment I arrived, Melanie left clear instructions on how to care for the pets and maintain the house. Her organization and thoughtfulness made my role as a caregiver much easier. Not only did she leave detailed guidelines, but she also ensured that the home was clean and welcoming. One of the standout qualities of Melanie’s hosting skills was her responsiveness. Whenever there was a situation that needed her attention, she promptly addressed it. Her attentiveness created a sense of ease and comfort throughout my stay. Also, Melanie didn’t just focus on the pets and the house; she also cared about my well-being. She took the time to inquire about my comfort and made sure I had everything I needed. It was reassuring to know that she genuinely cared about my experience as a guest. As for the furry companions, Thomas and Croix, they were truly delightful. Croix’s laid-back nature created a relaxed atmosphere, and spending time with him was a true joy. Thomas, on the other hand, brought an extra layer of entertainment with his charismatic and unique personality. His antics never failed to bring a smile to my face. Overall, staying at Melanie & Stephen’s home and caring for Croix, Thomas, and the fish was a great experience. Melanie’s excellent hosting skills, combined with the lovable personalities of the pets, made it a memorable and enjoyable time. I am grateful for the opportunity and would gladly do it again. 😊
It was our first time petsitting parrots but we had the best time — Luna & Stella are awesome! They are affectionate, smart, and great companions. We loved spending time with them. They really bonded with us and even learnt a couple of new words 😁 Caring for Luna & Stella was easy. Navi left us very clear instructions and even a book to learn more about their species — super useful! Navi lives in a beautiful and comfortable home, located in a nice area of Coquitlam with amazing mountain views and lots of walks nearby. We really enjoyed looking after Luna & Stella and would highly recommend this housesit. Thanks again for trusting us ❤️
I’ve just spent a weekend housesitting in beautiful Shoreham-by-Sea. The resident tabby there, Kevin, is a gentleman among cats: impeccable manners, gentle and sweet natured. Sarah and Kat were also model hosts, welcoming me into their beautiful home with kindness and generosity. The location of this housesit is about as perfect as it’s possible to be with just a 5-10 minute walk to the glorious beach. Anyone who is chosen to housesit here can consider themselves fortunate indeed. Thank you Sarah and Kat for a wonderful stay.
My time with Cosmo in the lovely abode of Maria Luz & fam was smooth and delightful. The home has been graced with a modern and artistic sensibility, where everything has its place and its beauty. The kitchen is easy to maneuver around and is well equipped for cooking, the bathroom new, the bedroom cozy. Sunlight filters in magnificently, to the delight of myself and all the well loved plants. Cosmo is one of the most well behaved, intelligent and sweet dogs I've had the pleasure of bonding with. We explored all the small parks within walking distance, as well as the nearby whole foods/ shopping area, and Rock Creek park a ten minute drive away. Cosmo is an excellent fetcher and I was delighted to feel comfy enough to let him off leash in smaller areas. He hardly barks (except for delivery folks) and got along great with just about every other canine on the block. I had a very smooth experience communicating with Maria Luz before and during the housesit. Although the timing didn't align for us to meet in person, I felt we had a respectful understanding between each other that left little room for misunderstandings or discomfort throughout the entire process. From start to finish, a sweet and light experience. Highly recommend:)
