10/10!!! Mar was so fantastic, we felt so comfortable leaving knowing she was looking after our animals (no small feat on a farm!). We got updates and photos throughout our trip, Mar’s communication was great. Mar took great care of our home while we were away. Our dogs are going to miss her :) Thanks so much Mar, you’re awesome!!! Highly recommended!

Sarah
Sarah was very communicative and responsive. There were clear instructions on how best to look after her home and cats while she was away. Sarah's home is in a lovely peaceful location. I would definitely come back :)

Deb and Rod
Pet sitting Sasha and Nala was something special, Sasha being 14 years old allowed me to slow down my gears, going for slow walks to slow down my own busy life. Nala being so gentle and kind with her marble eyes welcomed me so sweetly and I felt truly honoured. Being a skip and a hop from the beach was a definite plus! Thank you Deb & Rod for your hospitality and for sharing your furry family with me =)

Linda
Linda and Mike are lovely and extremely hospitable. We have enjoyed sitting for Scruffy. Such a joyful little mountain cat and a pleasure to spend time with.

We are fortunate to be sitting twice in one go at this beautiful home in Abruzzo with stunning views of the Alpennian mountains and Adriatic ocean. Lots of lovely places to venture out to within 30 mins in any direction.

Thank you Linda and Mike for choosing us to be Scruffy's foster fur parents while you head off on your adventures. We look forward to spending Christmas and New Year with Scruff - it will be really special 😻

Shannon
What a lovely experience!
Winnie is truly the sweetest, most well behaved and affectionate dog we have ever cared for!
She enjoyed the walks especially and the freedom to go without a leash (as permitted and encouraged) by Shannon, the owner!
We also loved the house and the tiny historical village of Montabone with its characteristic art sculptures, friendly residents and peaceful settings! It is as picturesque as Tuscany and even better!
The owners of the house, Shannon and Mike, have just moved to Italy a couple of months ago and shared their enthusiasm about living in Italy over dinner, when we arrived.
The only downside of this sit was that it was too short! We would have loved to take care of Winnie for a few more weeks!

Nicola
Where to start; there were so many great things about this sit! First, Nicola is simply an amazing, caring hostess! She allowed us to come in a day early and stay with her so that we could go over things and meet the kitties. Not only did she pick us up at the train station, but she gave us a tour of Horgen and treated us to a coffee in town. Later she picked up a few groceries for us and made us an amazing dinner. Both the food and conversation were great. We were able to communicate with Nicola throughout the sit and could ask her anything we needed, and she graciously took back to the train station at the completion of sit very early in the morning. Truly we now consider Nicola our friend and hope she feels the same.
Next, Nicola’s flat is stunning! It is spacious, clean, well appointed, and the views of Lake Zurich and the mountains are spectacular. It is very convenient with 2 bus stops less than a 5 minute walk away that take you to the train, grocery, or anything you might need. Also, if you do not want to take the bus the grocery store is an easy 15 minute walk and the train station about a 20 minute walk. Super easy. Lastly, the location allowed us to explore multiple Swiss destinations with just simple day trips.
Last, but definitely not least, are Charlotte and China. Both cats took some time to warm up to us, but that just made it more special when they did start to be more interactive. China stayed snuggled up in a closet or under the bed covers most of the day, but was always up for some affection and a treat or two. Charlotte, on the other hand, was out and about and with time, enjoyed playing and hanging out with us. They are both very easy to care for and very, very sweet. We also helped out with a neighbor cat, Perses, who was also lovely and very easy to care for.
We absolutely loved this sit and would give it the highest recommendation!
